Can we just take a moment to appreciate NDYAK for being the most real UA-camr out there. No music. No yelling. Just calm fishing content. I love it!
And he doesn't upload exclusively videos where he catches monsters or a ton of fish. He'll still upload a nice relaxing video like this where he doesn't catch much but he still takes us on the journey to see a beautiful area he fishes. I appreciate that.
He is...... Matt "Bob Ross" Nelson!🤣😂🤣
He is...... Matt "Bob Ross" Nelson!🤣😂🤣
Preach!
I could not agree more
Wait. A fishing UA-cam video with a cheap Walmart rod that doesn’t have the words ‘Walmart or challenge’ in the title?!?!?!
The best
Got to love it
I broke that rod on a huge catfish lol
“Won’t see that sitting at home”
Me: *Watching from home* 😐
🤣😂 I don't think that's what he means 😂😂 It's a joke..I know lol!
THE EAGLE
Hahahaha
Actually had a bald eagle sitting in the tree in my front yard last week.
Unbelievable how seeing this video popup and the smile that came across my face. There is absolutely NO channel I look forward to seeing as much as this one!
You got that right I get so excited when his videos pop up
Very good therapy. Today was the first day I fished this year and seeing these videos is always very enjoyable.
What a cool dude making this cool video. No flashy and exaggerated talks or movements. Everything is just cool and smooth. What a character!
He’s got an impressive playlist. Followed this site for almost 4 years. I’m still amazed.
@@tphvictims5101 His best was when he caught an absolute brute of a bass on his grandfather’s lure. It was as genuine a video as could be. Just a freakin awesome dude, the world would be a better place if it was filled with guys like this.
The Bob Ross of fishing
Agree 100% He is definitely one of my favorites.
Watch the one where he catches LMB, PB on g-pas old mouse lure.... best YT fishing video ever!!!
His voice is so relaxing
Bob Ross-ish
I think he knows that n kinda milks it 😂but he cool
@@serigraph73 I was going to post he is the Bob Ross of UA-cam fishing, but you beat me to it.
Most underrated fishing channel on UA-cam.
Interesting to see how much farther along in spring we are here, the trout are moving on and all I've been catching is rock bass, blue gill and a friggin' gold fish.
Thanks Steve! This footage is from early last week so the leaves are really starting to come in now. I’d like to go back to some of these spots now that it’s warmed up, unfortunately there’s a lot of wind in the forecast the next week and the pike and catfish are calling me too.
@@ndyakangler your work is such quality, take all the comments to heart coz this is next level... if you ever come by Sweden ..
Hello from Norway. Just came home from a fishing trip catching a few brown trouts, next thing I do is watching this. There is no such thing as too much fishing. You make fantastic movies, the best on UA-cam!!
Thank you for taking us along on another wonderful adventure. Definitely the most underrated UA-cam channel, don’t understand why you are not already at 1 million subscribers - it will happen.
Sitting in my office in the city, and when I watch this video, I can smell the air, feel the grass underfoot, hear the ghosts...It is videos like this that get me through the grind until the weekend. Thank you for what you do, man. Your videos literally make life better, and that isn't something you can say about most of UA-cam.
Appreciate the simplicity my friend. You are a humble man.
Thank you for bringing us along, always a pleasure to see your videos
The scenery plus the peace and quiet alone was well worth the effort, nothing beats a good old nature walk in the woods, add some fishing and you have a perfect day, I loved the ghost tree part, ty very much for sharing.
I think everyone agrees, he deserves so many more subscribers, at least 1 mil
so true, he really deserves much more!
More like 1 bil
Thanks for sharing this with us. A lovely walk in the woods. A bad day of fishing is still a good day.
How beautiful can nature be?! Thanks for taking us along!
we all love his videos, not because of flashy editing, expensive gear, thumbnails clickbait etc.
It's a man who genuinely loves nature and fishing. We like that.
Thank God you Was able to escape the grasp of that ghost tree 👻. Lmbo😂😂😂
Gotta appreciate the mighty bluegill. Bound to catch them almost anywhere. Another dope video!
You're so lucky to live in such a beautiful area. So many places for quality fishing.
Nice to see NDYak do a little bank fishing. Great video. Beautiful surroundings
I remember exploring and fishing from shore a lot in my life up into my 30's. That was almost 40 years ago. This brought back good memories. I used to catch a lot of crappies from shore this time of year. Thanks for the video.
That was super cool Matt! 😎 We saw an eagle, got scared of a ghost tree, And caught a few little cuties. 🐠🐠🐠 The hike was beautiful. 😯 So relaxing. 😊 That was fun! Thank you for bringing us along. 👍 Love from Cali 💕
Matt, the scenery through that park is amazing! Even though the fishing was not great, I feel like I got to walk through that beautiful park along with you. Thanks, man.
Thanks! With the fishing being slow I debated just hitting delete on the footage from this trip, but it was so pretty out there I decided to make a video out of it anyway.
Thanks for letting us take a walk-and wet a line-with you, Matt. It was a beautiful spring day in some nice country.
This is probably one of three fishing channels I still watch and look forward to every upload. I found myself constantly going back and watching your old videos too. Looking forward to the next video!
My late father who loved to fish always said "At least you got some of the stink blown off." Thanks for the beautiful scenery and nice hike.
keep wandering round the woods and what not, youll show your new baby all the good spots im sure, love your videos man, keep it up
What an amazing way to spend a day! My 5 year old son loves to watch your video's with me. We live in a bush village in Western Alaska and have been binge watching your videos until we can get out on our own.
just a normal man enjoying the outdoors. love the videos and the different styles you use for videos
Hey Matt, thanks to watching your videos my wife and i both bought kayaks this year. just waiting for a little warmer weather. but till then we took our boat out and after watching you i knew that a spot looked good. and sure enough i got 3 largies and my wife got one. all released as season doesn't start here in mich til the 23rd of may. besides they were too small. but it was fun to catch. thanks again. sorry post is so long
I enjoyed it. Remember, A bad day of fishing is always better than a good day of work!
It's all about the adventure, and the frosty beverages after LOL glad you took us alone on this trip
Lunch time and a new NDYakAngler video.....PERFECT!
I grew up just a couple of miles from this particular state park.......I’ve explored every inch of it.....so peaceful this time of year. It was cool seeing your day in the park and recognizing the same spots.
It was a pleasure to come along with you.
Great videos! Thanks for making my evenings enjoyable while waiting for spring…
Even though you didn’t catch much the vid was very entertaining. Good job sir👌👍
Nothing more relaxed than your videos. Can wait to see the next one!!
You my friend are just awesome! Love everyone of your videos and always looking forward to your next adventure!
I already know this is going to be good!
All below is TRUE & a GREAT fisherman on top of it all!!!!!
He’s like the Bob Ross of fishing. Love the Chanel, keep up the solid work!
Did something similar just last week, flew into my childhood town, took a tiny telescopic rod, brought up small Rock and Smallmouth bass from my childhood river. Super nostalgic.
Thanks for sharing this change-of-pace vid.
Y'all have so much beautiful natural resource territory up there in the north central part of the country.
Very cool! 😎👍🏼
Great video I love the woods, nothing like hiking and fishing new spots
That pretty much sums up my early spring around here. Lol. I do a ton of hiking and fishing in our wildlife refuge and I get skunked a lot early in the year. Things have warmed up here in southern Oklahoma and I can actually catch some fish! Glad to see that even great fishermen like you struggle from time to time. Enjoyed the video!
Those little fish are beautiful!! I'm not sure that rod and reel setup can reel In much bigger!!😂😂
Looks like fun!
You should had posted a warning at the beginning...I was NOT ready for the Ghost Tree!
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
The Bob Ross of Fishing uploads a video once again!
I could really feel your terror on the ghost trees. Totally freaked me out man.
Wonderful video looks like a beautiful hike thanks for taking us
This man is the Bob Ross of bass fishing.
I've got the Kastking telescopic 7'8" mh fast action with a Shimano SLX DC, the 30lb braid and the 20lb Fluorocarbon leader & I bought the green 8" snake 🐍 lure for giggles 😃
All I need now are your river & lakes in Florida. Keep up the good work.
This was awesome! Not every day is a great day and it's nice to see this type of content.
I would have to bring an extra pair of boots/sneakers to wade in that shallow water on a hot day. Another great scenery you brought us to. Keep up the awesome adventures! I love your style of videos!
It sure is pretty up there in the spring. Super stoked to see more of the small mouth spawn fishing!
I love your show. It would be interesting if you were to tag the fish you catch,,, just to see how often the same fish bite. Keep up the great work. 👍
love watching your vids gettin the boys out for a fish this weekend
Bank fishing at its finest lol. This was great! Beautiful!
The only fisherman on UA-cam I can stand
what a beautiful area... i understand why he likes to hike there so much.
always hit thumbs up even before viewing, best on You Tube
Refreshing realism. Love it.
i have just decided this man is a national treasure
His videos bring me so much joy
I have that rod/reel combo and completely agree. I used the reel once before replacing it. It’s really handy to keep in the back of my Jeep when it’s still a little too cool to have the kayak out
Love when these guys set up there camera and then walk by it. 😁
Thanks for the exhilarating hike, beautiful day
Love going on little back woods adventures, its not always about slamming the big ones!
Some beautiful country. Soon enough the heat will be here, it’s nice to enjoy the cool days.
Cannot wait until my son is old enough to take out on a hiking/fishing trip. He’s one now and he tags along. But he’ll be out-fishing me before I know it! We’ll be watching your videos for inspiration here in Ontario! Again, love the channel
Even if you don't catch much it's still nice to get outside. Keep up the good work with the videos!
You always have great videos. It's beautiful where you live. I would love to see more exploring videos. If there's that many lakes where you live it would be awesome to see you find the hidden spot with monsters living in it
I actually smiled when I saw this notification
yup!!
Haa.
I we all do. 😄👍
You know your good when folks are get uptight over your episode tardiness. 👍🏼
Enjoyed watching this video, different kind of adventure but same relaxing nature vibes. Well done🤟🏻!
Great road trip it’s not about the fishing it’s about the adventure you do a great job wonderful presentation let’s do it again
All you guys are great. I've missed my whole life picking the wrong friends. Now I'm 65 all alone
But hey, I've caught huge ass fish guys.
Matt: Love your content. I fish vicariously through you. Unfortunately, because of rheumatoid arthritis, can no longer fish. From Ontario, (currently living in Tennessee) and spent most of life fishing northern Ontario lakes. My PB for largemouth is 7lb. 11oz. PB for smallmouth is 6lb. 4oz. and primarily did evening fishing using top water (hula popper). Wish I was able to join you some day.
Those Eagle Claw rods are well worth the money - own a couple myself. Great video!!!
Great stuff! Keep these coming! Love any videos like this that do a bit of exploring...
Matt, you live in a beautiful place. If the winters weren't so long, I would seriously consider retiring there.
I love your videos. I get to see some different type of fishing. Kyle from corpus Christi tx
Incredible scenery, nice trails and an eagle swooping in never gets old. Love to see them even if the fishing isn't great it's rewarding nonetheless. And Matt taking us on another cool trek exploring. What's that we heard...Nothing ventured nothing gained. Appreciate you man.
Most underrated fisherman on the Tube of You's!!!
Hi im in the uk got into watching you a while ago Matt and agree with other comments that i now so look foward to your videos. Hope all goes well with your new life.
New life?
Loved that Ghost tree part, the gem of the video 💜
Loved seeing the humor he has
You are such a genius with your camera shots. Love the way you make videos.
Great video, the south Florida boys could learn from these outstanding videos
Thanks for the walk with. Great video.
Loved the little break to take look at the ghost tree. Spooky!
Thanks for the sights, have a good one my friend.
Nice country you got out there. I swear I saw that ghost tree move while you were running away. Lol. Enjoy.
ahh more great stuff..always brings a smile when a new video comes out :)
Awesome place tks for your videos Bro
Perfect spot a mountain bike
Best fishing content on UA-cam.
that was an awesome video man! i look forward to these.
I’d like to give it another try now that it’s warmed up but there’s so many places I want to fish and maybe one day with with wind under 20mph forecasted for the next week.
This guy is an absolute classic! And, there was also this kind of weird, eerie vibe, reminiscent of a fishing version of The Blaire Witch Project going on as well...especially with all those still-bare trees he was trudging through, even including a "Ghost Tree"...too bad he didn't hook into a jumbo-sized crappie, or two...I really wanted to see that Walmart Eagle Claw telescopic rod prove its mettle!
