Thank you for this great background option !!! I have a bevy of nail powders that I haven't ben using and now I have renewed interest. Friendly tip: use a larger brush to apply sealer, it will reduce the streaking in the powder.
Your rocks are very beautiful. I like the simple way you show, step by step. However, it would be helpful if you listed your supplies in the description box. I read in the comments about the gloss but what do you cure it with? Thank you.
Hello, I know it has been some time since you did this video (thank you for it). If you see this message, can you tell me what kind of turn table or lazy susan you are using to put the rock on top of when you are painting it? Thank you. (8/2023)
Wow! Your painted rocks are crazy awesome. I wonder how much it will cost for me to get all the materials? I don’t have an artist talent but maybe I if I use the same products you do and follow them step by step. By the way, your nails look beautiful!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I will list links to the products I used in the video description so you can buy the same products I used, then you can recreate the exact one. Please check back in a week, I should have it updated by then. Thanks again 💕
You’re very welcome… I actually don’t like triple thick, I can’t even remember why I didn’t like it, it was so long ago that I tried it… I always use Decoart Gloss Varnish, you can see what the bottle looks like at 4:41 minutes of this video… hope that helps 💕
I haven’t tried it, but I think you would get a mixture of all the colours so you won’t be able to see the purple, green or blue but it will all be a mixture of all these colours.
I made it using gypsum a mold from the Happy Dotting Company on Etsy, I have a video on how to make a mold of your favourite rock, and I show in that video how to make your own rock… thanks for watching 😊
I’m sure it’s sold in the states, maybe not the type I used... search for nail mirror powder... also let me know how does the powder you ordered works please... thanks for watching
Thank you... metallic paint will be very similar but it’s not going to as holographic and as shiny... even color shift paint doesn’t do it like this... it’s more like unicorn spit with out the price tag 😊
Wow! Lyn R, Creative fantasyk, Whats with the bitchy comments? Rocktastic has taken time out of day to show us something different. I cant wait to get some of this stuff to have some 'holographic' - 'metallic' - 'very like unicorn spit' whatever rocks, they're look pretty awesome. If you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all.
@@RocktasticArts so an update to my original comment from 1 yr ago. I have recently purchased nail powders and love the hologram and several others. As I said it Is very pretty, I like use it under transparent foils. Very cool.

Sounds great! I'll try that out next time ... thank you :)
What a unique way to create. I've been painting rocks for years and love it. You took it to another level. Nice 👍💜❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it 💕😊
I love these rocks I am going to try them! :-) Thank you!
You are amazingly gifted. Thank you so much for sharing your talent!!
Aww thank you so much for your kind words 😊

Nicely done ❤
Use a fan brush. Works better and quicker.
I wonder if you could possibly show the paint that you use for a bit longer.
Very pretty! You could also Mod Podge some pictures or photos on these, or just paint simple images if you wanted to.
Thank you... Yes you could... I like to cut out holographic vinyl on my cricut and stick it on, especially mandalas 😍... thank you for watching.
I might try this with mica powder.
Make up and nail powder is actually made up of mica powder so it should work well 😊

Where do you get your perfectly shaped rocks? 😊 Thanks
I make them using molds. You can check out how I do them in my second video that I made on this channel so you have to go back quite a bit :)
This is a great idea thank you! Did you use triple gloss?

Thanks for giving a shoutout!
My pleasure, thank you for sharing 😊
Could you mix all the powders at once and get the same look?
I haven’t tried it, but I think you would get a mixture of all the colours so you won’t be able to see the purple, green or blue but it will all be a mixture of all these colours.
I'm wondering where you got the heart shaped rock.

I ordered some Primary Elements powder from ColourArte, hope it will work as well as the nail powder, which isn’t sold in the States. Love this look!
I’m sure it’s sold in the states, maybe not the type I used... search for nail mirror powder... also let me know how does the powder you ordered works please... thanks for watching
Look into “Hippo micro glitter”
Ok, thanks for the info... I will :)
..amazon....
What the second thing did you put after black paint plz?
I mean what is the gloss?is it a glue?
It’s a gloss called duraclear gloss varnish, it helps the powder stick to the rock. Thanks for watching.
@@RocktasticArts thank you .. i love your work it s amazing
I m learning from you ..
Thank you so much for your kindness, I’m so happy to hear that 💕
Do you mean iridescent instead of holographic?
Well to be totally and exactly correct, it’s actually duochrome :)
Would look get dotting on these ty
Yes, agreed... I just didn’t want to complicate the video and do it in the same video... thanks for watching :)
The powder is not available on amazon. 😟
Sorry, they keep changing their links... search for color changing nail powder.
Looks like metallic paint would give a similar result, pretty.
Thank you... metallic paint will be very similar but it’s not going to as holographic and as shiny... even color shift paint doesn’t do it like this... it’s more like unicorn spit with out the price tag 😊
@@RocktasticArts Your paint resources must be very limited if these are your only comments.
That's multichrome not holographic

I used duraclear gloss in both times, it dissolves the powder and makes the rocks glossy

Where did you get the nice round rocks?

I'm wondering if I could use a body glitter/shimmer in this way... hmmm gonna try!! Lol
