Seriously why is it that in all your videos people are saying in the comments you’re drunk or high…. It’s called being tired from working hard hours at the restaurant, being a dad, being a businessman… Chefs on high levels can’t work when they’re high, I know some do, but the best don’t! This guy is a talented legend!! @thomasstraker I known you won’t read this, but keep it up mate! You’re doing great! xx
@thomasstraker And you do it well mate! I’ve been a chef myself for 15 years, and I thoroughly enjoy your videos! Very inspiring. Love seeing stuff done the right way! No fuss, great ingredients and great skills! What I’ve always aspired to do. xx
Where can you even source potato buns? I’m trying to start up my own thing but no local bakers do these and martins potato rolls are too expensive to import
I do appreciate watching you grind your own meat... this will be my "meat grinding bible" video. After watching this, I'll need a wheelbarrow to get home for a nap...!
What kind of watch do you have, it looks great. And would you maybe do e video about your cooking equipment en cutlery? Love the home cook video’s btw, keep it up!
Great video thank you What do you call the cooking tool ? Cast iron plate ? And the copper cover ? Where do you find those please ? I like the idea of the steam. But for the meat slicer...
As a chef and food fanatic i can tell you all that Thomas is the kind of guy in the kitchen that everyone admire. All the young chefs with ambitions should spend a few weeks for free at his restaurant to get inspired, to understand the food and flavour profiles. Another fucking amazing video Thomas well done sir
Never heard anyone say this about a burger - few simple ingredients coming together. Everyone else seems to always poshify it. I remember reading somewhere, poor people ground up off cuts of meat, toasted them, stacked them in a bun for sustenance. Voila, it’s the burger Unfortunately, when rich people start liking and normalising the paupers’ sustenance, the prices go up. It’s like a bloody curse at this point.

Why so much sugar in the sauce 😵😵
Cuts through the fat in the patties
@@stag95that's what the acidity does, not the sugar. Must just like it sweet
