This is awesome! Got any lake recommendations in the matsu area for my son? He just got a kayak this year and doesn’t know where to start. Thank you in advanced
I’ll do ya one better, in this video, I show you how to use the Alaska lake database. With this valuable tool you can start with the lakes closest to you, and you’ll also have all the info you need as far as species! ua-cam.com/video/qCGA7kX4bdA/v-deo.htmlsi=4mLmJ78wcz20r5aN
Fantasy video. I'm loving all these nature videos and learning a lot about nature in Alaska. Your video editing is fantastic as well. Always look forward to seeing your videos pop up as I have the bell 🔔🔔🔔 on ..... Subscribe everyone and let's show show love for Alaska pirates
Thank you! I really appreciate it! I have the time to edit them right now so hearing stuff like this keeps me motivated to keep going! I’m going to work on some wild harvest and cooking videos next!
@Jon-hz8mq I love pickled pike, it’s more of a time vs yield situation. It’s more productive to have them enrich my soil than it is to spend the time cleaning 20 hammer handles, then the whole pickling process. The most I’ll do is cut out the blackstrap and toss the rest into compost, that’s a pretty decent yield for the time. Just my opinion, but I do love pickled pike !
That is awesome 15:16
Oh shit!!! You finally get a UA-cam account???💪💪💯🫡

Hammer handles taste better than the big hogs any how
They are almost not worth eating, that’s why I usually just compost them. Also less fun to catch, but we gotta get en all🤣💪💪💯
Try pickling them?

Yeah, it makes sense.
@Jon-hz8mq if I were around during the hard water months I would 100% pickle everything! There just isn’t enough time in the summer.
