I've heard the same from a few people. Its all about preference. I like the first one better but let's not discount the second. There are some good things in that film.
@@jordangreen4518 "Destroyer" has a few redeeming moments and aspects like the score, but in every other way I see a lost opportunity due to Dino De Laurentiis looking for a quick cash grab. But the worst thing about the movie is that it resulted in Fleischer and De Laurentiis teaming up to make Red Sonja which borders on being a crime against humanity
I prefer Destroyer myself, I like stories with group of adventurer's and the group in Destroyer has more of a presence, and while the first one is indeed epic in scope, I feel too often the movie is too busy being epic instead of being fun. However Destroyer would have been far better if it had went for a hard R rating. Also Sarah Douglas was awesome in that movie.
Its funny but im quite the same.I know first one is the better movie, and i love it myself.Soundtrack alone is the best ever written and the whole movie is a huge Howard Hommage. But a part of me prefers Destroyer over it,probably because it was the first i saw as a kid back then.
The 82 "conan the barbarian" is the best kull the conqueror adaptation ever.
Lol. Bingo
The 97 Kull the Conquer however is not the best Conan adaption ever.
Prefer the sequel? That's downright heretical! :D
