- I sold my Rebel 500 and bought this 2014 Triumph Speedmaster!

The Speedmaster is amazing. I owned a 2007. Wonderful, dependable, and smooth.
I love that color scheme and the pipes sound really good. I have a black one and I love it! Great video!
Thanks! I am planning to pull off the racing stripes because they have some small cuts in them. But I think I want to put back racing stripes again. I like the look.
I am now complete with all the upgrades and maintenance. New fuel filter, all new bearings, brake fluids, pads, etc. I am now thinking about repainting it. Going something red and a racing stripe on it. Will post when I do it.
great to see the old speedy again. I just sold in may. The 865 is lovely, and a great looker. I added 5k miles to mine when it went. very sad to let it go, but bought brand new Speedmaster Goldline which is stunning. Thanks for the memory.

I bought a '15 mode; that looks identical to yours. It's my first bike and I love it. I have plans to add bags and highway bars so I can have pegs and stretch out. I love the fuel capacity and the comfortable seat will both allow for some longer rides. I will look into doing the headlight upgrade you did. The stock headlight leaves a lot to be desired. Thanks for the video!
I also ended up custom painting the bike. Loads of fun for sure. Enjoy your bike!

i also own a 2015 Speedy (a black one) and its great to see some videos of this triumph on yt. I see you have a gadget ub the middle of the handbar that looks really smooth , is that a GPS?
It’s called Beeline. It uses the phone to tell it where to go. You can use it like a very simple gps. I mostly use it as a compass to my destination. Then I pick roads at random that lead me in that direction. It’s pretty cool and minimalistic.

Nice review! I really enjoy reviews from actual owners. I just bought a new speedy and am waiting for it to be trucked in from another dealer this week!! Just out of curiosity, what size was the Rebel you traded? I was looking at the 1100 but had the same issue you mentioned - can't find 'em anywhere! 😆
I had the Rebel 500, it was a nice bike but just not quite big enough for me. I have done a lot on this Speedmaster, and just finished painting the tank (video on the channel). I have really been enjoying it, fun cruiser bike with good gas mileage too.

How different are the engines ?
Really not much at all. Just carburetors instead of fuel injection. I have ridden both. No real difference in power or ride. Great bike.
I had a 2014 Tiger. This is a VERY different bike. I also have a 2021 Tiger now. Different purposes.
