      I have combo skin type, i tried the innisfree face wash a few times but i found it a bit too drying. The only foam cleanser that i like and does to feel stripping is the one from the bransmd Simple.

    I've tried loads of different things for my dark circles and I now swear by Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Cream (I get it from M&S beauty). My dark circles genuinely changed colour in a couple of weeks and your eyes just look brighter and feel tighter. It's an odd texture and is more like a jelly than a cream but unbelievable results. I notice a huge difference if I don't use it. Definitely worth a try! Xx

      I agree that it's one of the few eye serums I've used that actually makes a noticeable difference as far as puffiness. Yes, it is really watery but I quite like that first daytime use since it absorbs quickly.

      I guess Fleur found a better retinoid in the Drunk Elephant as it’s stronger and is peeling her skin. I also think she stopped using it when she found out she was pregnant (as you’re not allowed to use retinoids when pregnant) so hasn’t dabbled back into the ordinary products

    I love the Clinique All About Eyes Rich. You can literally put it on one eye and after a few seconds you can see the difference between that, and the eye you haven’t moisturised yet.

  • @manonrodriguez4327
    @manonrodriguez4327 5 років тому +1

    The best eye cream I have tried (that doesn't sting my eyes) is the Clinique one from their moisture surge range. It's actually my favorite product from the line. It's also an hydrating one above all (no anti-aging purpose specifically) but it does that moisturizing job so well that I find the area super plumped, youthful and smoothed after using it. It also works applied in a thick layer as an overnight eye mask and agrees well with make up no mater how much you apply (it doesn't flake or peel). xoxo

    I love that you are really into high-end skincare because I agree that it works better than drugstore brands. I've had drugstore eye creams that have burned my eyes and made them water, and I never looked back. Since you are into a lot of anti-aging products, I think you should check out Caudalie's Premier Cru range! I had a sample of their eye cream and it worked WONDERS on my eyes. I could tell that the fine lines were more plump and hydrated. It's the most expensive of the caudalie range, but I think you should definitely try them out.

    By far the BEST eye cream I have ever tried is The Rocky Mountain Soap Company Beech Tree Bud one. It’s soooooo good. It’s a beautiful consistency, super hydrating, good ingredients and the first time I used it I literally felt it lifting my eye area and making it brighter. I know, how can that be?! But I SWEAR I did. A little goes a long way so the product lasts a fair while, and I’m pretty sure it makes my eyelashes grow in thicker and darker too 🤷🏻‍♀️ I highly recommend! They’re a Canadian company but I’m pretty sure they ship internationally.

Right now I like using a drop of almond oil at night and during the day I use origins ginzing. It brightens and looks great under makeup but I haven't noticed long term results. It's more cosmetic.

    I got the same super dry peeling reaction from the DE Retinol cream. I used it one night and my skin was peeling for an entire week. That being said, I'll continue to use it and see if my skin can adapt to the potency of the cream.
    Verso has a really good eye serum- it smoothed out my fine lines and I can see visible improvement of my dark circles. It's a bit pricey but since it's a serum, the 'spreadability' is excellent and the concentrated formula means a little goes a long way. My bottle has lasted 5 months. I'd recommend using this at night (it has some type of retinol/retinoid) and a simple moisturizing eye cream in the morning (I enjoy the Belif and Kiehls ones).

    Just an FYI: peeling is actually not "supposed to happen" with retinol - it's an unnecessary side effect and a sign of irritation, not effectiveness. Scientists now know (where they didn't initially) that retinol can be just as effective without causing the peel, because what makes it effective is the fact that thickens the lower levels of skin, not that if peels off the surface.

    Are you using just a pea size amount of the A- Passioni as I’ve heard a lot of people who have used other retinol’s go a little overboard and their skin got really sensitive and peeled.
    I love both of Drunk Elephant’s eye creams. The one you have been using can also be used as an eyelash and eyebrow regeneration. I love the new Fist Aide Beauty’s retinol eye cream. All eye creams from Ren they are so lovely. If you want an eye cream for the day that helped with dark circles. Then use Tatcha Beauty newish eye cream in Moonlight.

    Fleur, I think it’s imp to use an eye cream with a sunscreen. I have been on the hunt for one and frankly, there aren’t many out there. The dermalogica total eye has spf 15 I reckon and I’ve used it for the last year or so. The Peter Thomas Roth retinol eye cream I have been using after one of your favourites video and I think that’s a good one as well.

      K Lu the video is about what she is using right now!!! Do you not go through trying different things? Do you actually stick to the same skincare all year round?

    Couldn't live without my Clarisonic! Do you know there also is a massage head for the face! A-ma-zin! And in the US I bought a foundation brush to use on the Clarisonic. Both tips via Tati. Very, very good!

    Best eye creams High end that I used to use La prairie and cheaper option that I currently use channel Le lift is a good one. I purchased an Estée Lauder recently which I am going to try as I have never tried their skin care before.
