Happy New Year Fleur and Mike! Really enjoyed this vlog, it felt really intimate (not in a creepy way - that sounded creepy!) in a friendly, relaxing way! We’ve been using Hello Fresh for a few months on your recommendation and it’s a game changer, I’ve just upped us to 4 meals a week and it works out cheaper xx

Yes come to Russia! It may sound weird but Moscow is very cosmopolitan and European now and st. Petersburg is beautiful! All of my English friends were very impressed when they came over in July for our wedding. Plus with the current exchange rate it’s very very affordable 😁 and if you come in the summer the weather is great and there is so much to do and see! Xxx

Don’t dismiss Egypt Fleur. We saw the Pyramids and cruised down the Nile just before Christmas. You don’t actually have to go into the pyramids. You can go into a tomb if you want to, but we didn’t and didn’t feel we had missed out on anything - it’s the outside that’s the spectacular bit! There are lots of other fantastic sites and sights that don’t involve small spaces! The Nile cruise was fabulous.

Lovely video Fleur. If you do go to Boston and you want lunch in a really amazing place with choices for everyone go to Quincy Market - it is an old Market hall with various food stalls where you choose what you want and then eat in a dining area with live music etc - we had the most amazing lobster mac n cheese there for $4!!!! And you have to visit the Cheers bar. Honestly it is an amazing city that is walkable once you have done the trolley bus a couple of times. Good luck with the run x

Hubby and I were in Tokyo in November, it was unseasonably warm, and fabulous. We joined a cruise there and traveled across Japan, China, and finished in Hong Kong where we stayed for an extra 3 days. We did a similar cruise 2 years ago starting in Hong Kong traveled through Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore. I would be more than Happy to go back to any of those places for just 5 days, we had a fantastic time. I’m sure you and Mike would to. xxxx

You can come to Georgia (country, not the state). its just 3-4 hours difference and you can travel to different cities as well, getting both Asian and European experience at the same time. I think you both will enjoy it, food is amazing, landscapes are great and you can learn a lot about history as well. Generally, you can get any kind of experience you want here. And i believe it wont be too hard to do with River.

How about Mallorca? I went there a few years ago and was blown away at how beautiful it is! It's totally underrated and gets a bad rep as a party destination. You can rent a car and easily drive around the whole island, stopping in places like Valldemossa (amazing wine cellars), Sóller (one of the coolest towns I have ever been to), and Cape Formentor. Palma has an amazing history with stunning old buildings to marvel at, plus great shopping, while the west and north parts of the island are quieter and super romantic. I would avoid the eastern part, but even that was not as "party, party" as I imagined.

Or places like South Tyrol ( for Mountain Wellness),islands like Madeira, Corsica, Capri or Mallorca (apart from touristy areas), Monaco (for a more luxurious getaway), Morocco (to sleep in beautiful Riads), Tuscany or Montenegro, Sauna and lakes in Finland, ... I love Boston! Would also second another commenter who mentioned Montreal, would also add Quebec City to that to round out 5 days. Also, can confirm that what you’ve heard of the pyramids is true- quite tight spaces and lots of people.

Japan is at the top of my list! And I was just thinking today about Boston. Would love to visit a friend I've not seen in ages. Have you been to the Caribbean?

Egypt is good...go to the temples and valley of kings/queens. I did first week on a cruise down the Nile then a week in a hotel is luxor. No need to go to Cairo xx
