I’ve made so many of these and I myself and everyone I have gifted LOVES them. I’ve used all kinds of yarns, one of my fav being velvet yarns. If you use velvet, keep your tension tight. Thank you for this pattern!!!! So easy and fast.
made it easily with chunky #6 yarn by only doing 8 stitches in the beginning totalling 4 spaces to crochet in. super fast and easy project to bust my stash with
The written pattern that I found on Pinterest doesn't have the SC into the last stitch ch1 at the end of any row. Finding the video was really helpful. I was able to frog it and start over and it worked up quickly. If you're having trouble following because you think that she is going too fast, try slowing the video down.
The pattern is very pretty and my headband turned out great; however, as a beginner it would be great if it was a slower pace and you could show the pattern a bit more as you went along. Thank you for the tutorial.
For sure, all my beginner tutorials are much slower, but you will see that they specifically say beginner on the thumbnail anything that does not move a little quicker most of the time, though the patterns can be found over on the blog and that might be helpful because you can move at your own pace and pause. The video as needed. Another tip would be to actually slow down the video as you watch it. I hope that you find this helpful and that you’re able to get it made but I really do appreciate the feedback.
@@MindyHensley-f2d then I think you have the best idea to keep the Lacey texture. You may even want to go up a hook size and crochet a smaller starting chain. That way the headband will still be nice and soft and pliable.
This one is move a bit quicker the beginner ones move, much slower anything that does not say beginner will move a little quicker. Hopefully, you’ll be able to get the hang of it and for sure. This is the Primrose stitch love it
Should the headband be approximately 2 inches smaller than the head size?
Yes 1 - 2 that way when it stretches it still fits - and won't slide off the head :)

How many stitches are you supposed to have after row 1. I can't hear it well when you sat it
15
It would help to show what each row looks like after done when starting so we can compare and show how to count. But love your final product
Thanks for the feedback! How many rows would you say would help?
My work keeps curving 😢 I’m not sure what I can be doing wrong
It could be your tension is it curving at the top or along the sides?
❤❤❤❤❤😊
Where is the written pattern found?
Finally, a link to the written pattern in the description it’s over on my blog
Man, mine turned out like twice as wide 😂 I think I’ll take it apart and do less than 16 chain to start with? I’m using same size yarn 🤷🏻♀️
Are you remembering to skip the stitches or are you working in every stitch?
Actually I just double checked and I have size 6 yarn! Oh man, silly me.

No matter how many times I replayed it I just couldn’t understand where she was placing her stitches in Row 3
@@lynettewall3542 place them between the 2 single crochets aka the ch1 space. Hope this helps!
@ so is it a stitch in the loops created and a stitch in between?
Not very detail and not showing where u putting ur hook
I can't see anything. Your fingers and the needle keep getting in the way
I'm so sorry about that. I will keep that in mind for my next video I really appreciate the feedback.
It isn't rocket science. If this is too difficult for you, watch another video 😮

I relly like the pattern but instructions are not very clear. I you could make it slower with better view for begginners.

I find it difficult to follow as you work quickly but it would be helpful to show up close up at least when you begin the pattern. Sorry
Hi Shirley thank you so much for the feedback - it can only help to make my videos better. I appreciate you taking the time to help me :)
Way to fast my goodness I’m not a beginner but you are to fast. I don’t think you understand we’ve not done this pattern 🤷♀️
You can slow the video down.
