In respond to those existing "full soundtrack" for PO-FF I-VI, I'm now to update it by adding the new entry, with scrolling sheet music visible. Though I've previously done the three books/albums separately, so this video is basically a merge only, but it seems there is some demand for a complete collection. Maybe tired to find videos back and forth?

I just discovered this now and ordered the piano sheets immediately. What fantastic arrangements and brilliantly played. That Square has made these not-dumbed down arrangements available is just fantastic. What an underrated genre games music is!!
This is incredible. From a musical perspective it is brilliant, from that of a gamer it is fun, and from my perspective it is perfect!
Never have I imagined that these great FF tunes can be replicated by a solo pianist. What a wonderful presentation!!
This is really fabulous... I'm genuinely moved and awed by some of these arrangements.
The combination of the Prelude and Main theme will never fail to get me emotional, so well done both in the way it's arranged and played.
This is my first time listening through every single piece though, so I'm probably just gonna be throwing reactions in this comment thread ahaha.
Mount Gulg though holy shit.
Ahhhhhh FFII's main theme had so much justice done to it
These arrangements are soooo good how tf am I just finding these now?!?!?
Beautiful music. Love the FF series and this is great can view the score and listen at the same time, thanks!
Thank you VERY much for this. Surely it took you a lot of time.
just saw nobuo uemetasu and met him at london Coronet - purchased this. it was EPIC
Wow, this is a VERY impressive video. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so very much for posting this.
Fantastic and phenomenal. Bravo.
Best video, thank you so much!
omg this is sooo awesome this needs to be done with ffx and ffxi immediately >

And XII. Otherwise it'd mess with my OCD.
O! Can you imagine what an Opera arrangement of Stand By Me (from XV) would sound like?!
@@NoHomerSwould probably sound great tbh
Piano Opera Final fantasy X - XII, with Nobuo and Masashi as composers, then I can die in peace :)
Same here.
@@moisescorral8297 me, too...
great video, thanks so much!
Maytoya's Cave is hands down the best song on this.
I listened to this with headphone, without additional EQ or soundFX, sounds much better than with additional processing.
Beautiful!!
Much appreciated!
They need to make a piano opera for final fantasy X, XI, and XII!!
Thank you !!!! : O
I like it !! Thanks !!
I really need to learn the Boundless Ocean!
Pure sound!!!
@nantenknight83
some of this should go into the standard repertoire for concert
pianists. i could imagine this Matoya's Cave arrangement as a great
encore after a classical concerto for example :)
YES. Can you imagine the amount of personality Kefka could make possible when performed on a stage after the audience just finished hearing something like a Rachmaninoff concerto or Rhapsody in Blue? Almost make me want to study piano for however many years just to make it happen.
@@rhodri2800 sorry, it is almost impossible to become a pianist invited to perform a concerto unless you’re basically a child prodigy, or become internet famous… or you pay an entire orchestra to perform the piece with you. There are too many talented pianists in the world. Would be much easier to find a pianist playing a concerto, and convince them to play FF music as an encore. There are classical musicians out there who love FF! I am one of them

And I thought Piano Collections was tough😮
You could always google it. It's going too far for me to put the direct links here...
Please i ask you to put it because the google sheets i found were a lot dirty
+Masterfelixxx Did you already find a clean version?
The scans are "dirty" but clear enough to read them. I have a lot of them printed and are perfectly read-able.
Late response so I doubt it's of any use now, but that's where plugging the piece into a notation system is helpful. Also helps to water down these arrangements just a tad, I'm just now (somehow) discovering this collection so I can't say for sure, but it seems like these pieces are arranged for two people. Could also just be my lack of chops in comparison to others :P
Does anyone have some google drive with these sheets then? I dont expect it to be linked here but if someone can PM me on twitter.
Some of these are far harder than standard romantic repertoire..... just listen to Dancing Mad (1:26:40).
I'd be grateful as well if you gave a link.

At 3:10 does anyone else get jurassic park vibes for a second?
Why is opera? can someone explain me thanks
My theory is that because most FF games have their own piano music sheet collection, this collection can't simply have been called FF piano collection. Plus. there are other FF piano music collections out there, all of which were officially released by SE. Hence SE probably named it "opera" to differentiate it from other collection and possibly also to hint that it is not beginners friendly to play.
It’s Japan, anything goes in terms of titles and the usage of the English language. It’s probably more so evoking a sense of “opera”. And yes, piano collections already exist.
"Opera" just means "work." That's all.
any chance you could update this with chapters?
Eu tenho esse pack, me custou 69 Elizabeth dinheiros mas valeu a pena
I don't respect the official piano collections of Final Fantasy. Those arrangements of Nobuo's work take far too many liberties, altering the flow in drastic ways - and adding elements that I feel simply do not maintain the spirit of the original works.
So I appreciate this. It's a huge improvement- albeit, not perfect. Sometimes, these renditions overstep their bounds.
I honestly wish we could just get the full discography 1-10 of Nobuo's work as CLOSE as possible to the original compositions. But we never did get that.
Arrangers can be very effing annoying... they just have to put their stamp on anything they touch and end up invariably tainting the source material.
Anyways, a long winded way of bi***ing but also saying thanks!
I forgot to mention how many of the classics are also tragically missing from the FF piano collections. I will never not talk smack on how those were handled by Square.
This also helps close the gap. Again, thanks!

Is this legal?
Who did such a bad job scanning the sheet music? ^^
