Respect at everything you go through. The sooner you notice things and sooner you act upon your mistakes the better person you become. What you did is worth it regardless of what you have to go through. Everyone have their worse battles and still can overcome it no matter how long it takes. Be safe and enjoy your beautiful cars. I’ll be building my dream car in few years after my dream house knowing the expensive cost behind it is huge but it’s worth it and all will be paid in due time and hustle. Stay safe
I thought this video was going to be a video about; "I lived with my parents until 40 and financed cars, follow my lead". So for the first minute or so I was expecting terrible advice. However, this video gave amazing advice to allot of young people. I am in my 20's and a millionaire, so here is my advice; If you can't buy it with cash, then don't buy it. For example, if you make 60K/YR, and can save 20K-30K of that in a years time, then you can go ahead and buy a 20K-30K car. Although id ask yourself if you really need it. When I was making around 60K/YR I was able to save up roughly 30K-40K of that a year because I was living with my girlfriend whom was making around 35K/YR. So together we'd bring home 90K roughly. So her 35K covered most expenses while my income was additional. Of-course we'd like to buy nice things and live a nicer life, so sometimes we'd spend a couple thousand dollars on more materialistic things. Because of that, I was also able to buy a home, a car, invest into business idea's, etc. Remember, when you acquire debt or increasing your living expenses you are stagnating your life. Unless you increase your income, without any deposable income you cannot invest into anything, and therefore, you'll stagnate. This is why most people are unable to start their lives until they're 30+, because they spend their 20's paying off debt, and most of that debt was them chasing a lifestyle they couldn't afford. Then when you're 30 you panic because you're running out of time, so you have kids, a wife, a home, and many other things, and then that's how you end up being 40+ with several kids and living paycheck to paycheck with a middle-class income. Then people wonder how 70% of households in the US live paycheck to paycheck. That is how. You waste the time you had, then when you run out of time you panic, and you never gave yourself time to do anything more. Financing for 5 years could lock up your life for 5 whole years, and for what, a car? Something to flex on people? Make sure you're making wise decisions. When you're rich you can afford 5 of your favorite cars, or you can sink yourself over one of them. Don't be dumb. Life is a marathon, not a race. Enjoy it, but don't try to live a lifestyle that you cannot afford. Financing makes people think they can afford a life that they can't. All of your peers are simply in debt. They're not ahead of you because they own nice things on loans. Don't fall into the trap.
When I read the title, I thought you were just going to tell us to work hard, study hard, get a useful degree, then get a master's to progress in the field. I should've known better to NOT expect that from you. Thank you for always being so honest with your viewers!
Im a forever fan brother after the videos i watched i can watch your content knowing that this is a real person who has worked so so hard to get where you are now.. its an amazing thing and i didnt say so in my previous comments...I HOPE YOUR MOM IS WELL BROTHER ....HAVE A BLESSED DAY MAN
People make me feel shitty about that sometimes, but I'm glad I didn't just leave my mom to herself. Seems people think I'm just freeloading or something, but I pay a majority of the bills. On top of it all, I would have nothing close to the amount of money I have saved up right now. I could lose my job tomorrow and give zero shits.
@@Troglor048 Also your mom wont be around forever enjoy the time when living at home with your family instead of moving out and seeing them once or twice a year until theyre gone.
@@Troglor048 who cares if you live your mom. Cost of living is high and it helps you save but if you can invest your money then it'll be even better. See this as an opportunity and who cares what others think.
Your life experiences and lessons should be taught in high schools around the world. Thank you for being honest for us 24-35 demographics. Now if only the 0-24 demo can get a hold of these lessons before its too late.
Ricky L I think as the the newer generation reaches adulthood these days, consumerism is getting pricier and demand for expensive things and hobbies are all abound. Once they have credit cards it’s game over. We have to change the way we think, everywhere I go I meet people that are trickling in debt.
So I am the complete opposite, I drive my parents used minivan, been saving since starting work, live at home and help pay my parents mortgage. The problem I have is to learn how to spend my money. Doing the wise thing at the wrong life stage doesn’t mean personal growth. I’m still figuring out how to enjoy my life as much as you enjoyed that Supra. There are lessons I still need to learn and I’m loving the self awareness and life experiences you share.
Ahh yes. I made the same mistake with my WRX in 2015 as you mentioned with your Supra. Same upfront cost as well, and of course repairs! I feel as if it's a common lesson all car enthusiast learn at one point or another, like you said being able to make the monthly payments isn't "affording". And as enjoyable as it is at first, looking back on the numbers and decision are not easy! I was lucky enough to learn my lesson by 2017 and dug deep to hustle and pay off any debt by 2020 - to then of course take on the biggest debt of a home .🤣I would say it's a little more tolerable though it comes with it's own book of life lessons. And though my dream car is also a white NSX, I definitely enjoy living vicariously through you more than financing one at this time. As always, keep up the great work with your content Frank! I look forward to every upload!
Hey, I'm currently 17 and like watching vids like yours. I would like to thank you for being brave enough to tell others of your faults and teaching people like me lessons so that I don't have to learn the hard way. I have huge plans for the future and you are a big inspiration.
This video really hit hard. I'm 28, live at home paying my parent's mortgage. My mom had a stroke a few years ago and can't work so my siblings and I have been taking care of her while my dad is trying to work. I financed a Tesla and have 3 years left on the loan. I've went through the same thoughts you've said, Frank. Why didn't I just hold off on buying a car and just saved my money to better help my family and my future? I feel so stupid but hey, hindsight's always 2020. Good luck, Frank! Thanks for the always insightful videos.
Everything you talked about resonates so hard. Definitely I regret on a lot of things look back on how I spent and learned harsh lessons. Now in my 30s playing catch up, it hits hard. Thank you for sharing and it helps me feel someone can relate and been through similar things.
Love the latest video. Rarely any youtuber will be so honest about what's behind the curtain. You poured out your heart again and not just showing us the good but also the reality that we face regularly. But remember to give yourself grace too since we are our worst critic. His grace and mercy is sufficient each and everyday. :)
Frank, I’ve been watching your videos from the beginning. So I say this with all do respect. These cars, may it be material, make you happy. You take care of your mother, lovely wife, and brother. You make UA-cam videos that resonate and teach life lessons to all your viewers. Sure you could have made better financial decisions; hindsight is 20/20. But don’t let the UA-cam community victimize your decisions that made you happy. I don’t think you owe anyone an explanation. Money will come and go, but time is a currency you never get back. Keep up the strong work, brother.
thank you kevin! i appreciate you! time is truly invaluable and i want to keep using my time wisely which includes making videos like these so i appreciate the vote of confidence! thank you my friend
I could add a whole paragraph here, but I'll just keep it short and sweet: You're one of the realest dudes out there and definitely the kinda bro everyone should have in their life. Glad you're still making videos and sharing life lessons without being preachy or judgmental. Cheers
33 yo asian male here in the damn state of NJ and just stumbled upon your channel it’s refreshing that I am not the only person to make the same mistakes. That may sound kinda bad but I mean it in the best way possible. I’ve made the same mistakes when I first graduated college and got a real job I spent all my money on honest useless crap and wonder where I would be now if I hadn’t. But like you I did smarten up. I saved I invested and at 33 and 7 houses later with the joint effort between my mom and siblings we can retire early and enjoy life. I am able to nearly 70% of my income I get from work and have a nest egg for what ever may go bad. I attribute this all to my Mother for showing me the way and opening my eyes. I still make mistake but it’s no longer about can I afford a car I buy for how it can help me in the future and how it fits into my goals. Glad to see a UA-cam individual who i can relate too both with values and upbringing.
Hey Frank, you don't need to explain yourself to anyone man. And hindsight is 20/20. Doesn't make you a bad person. You made money, you spend it on the things you enjoyed. Nothing was wasted.
What a comeback Frank. I gotta say, i was super happy to see you im my subscription box again. But this video - boy does it ring a bell with me. I am 27, from a very low middle-class family. Who am i kidding, we where scratch poor for years, but my parents where able to cover all of that before me. Ever since i started working, i learned a lot of lessions in regards to money. I have never taken any loans, or had to borrow money from banks, but i was damn near close. Two years ago my mom passed away, right after which my relationship was struggling. After we broke up at the start of this year, i moved back to my dads place, since he barely can afford living. Now, NOW i finally know the value of money. I can pay for our bills, be it phone, internet, services and what not, give him money for groceries that cover the whole month for both of us, and still have enough on the side to put into a savings account, and spend the rest on my dumb, expensive hobbies. Still, some months i can barely make it trough. I used to spend everything i had on my partner, renting an apt. too big for us, going out and eating out, just wasting money away... now that some scars have healed, i really know the value of money. I got to admit however, i do spend a lot on hobbies, since i never could as a kid. Sue me i guess. Anyways man, glad to see you return, your video really made me think. Just like back in the glory days, with all the advice that i still hold up to today. Keep it up man, i am glad you can be so honest :)
i'm so thankful for your story and your sharing. and i'm so glad you can be there for your dad. thank you for your raw honesty and openness, i appreciate you my friend!!!!
Frank, I’m doing the same “mistake” as I’m typing this comment. I’m in my late 20s, got a job that pays enough to scrape by. I bought a 2020 M2 early this year before COVID hit. I didn’t buy it to show off, I bought it because it’s a safe haven for me. Now I’m maxing my Roth IRA and barely match 401k. I know it’s not financially wise to buy this car, but I did it anyway. It’s the worst financially decision I’ve ever made, but I know I’ll regret it when I get old if I don’t do this right now. Maybe I’m just trying to justify my decision. However it also acts as an motivator for me. It pushes me to look for better paying jobs, to do my own business on the side. Thanks for the video and reading the comment section makes me feel that I’m not the only dumbass that’s doing/did it.
thanks kaiwen! i appreciate your honesty and sharing! we can both take the lessons as they come and try our best to do better going forward! and there's nothing wrong with enjoying life as we progress through it as well so it's all about balance
The way I see it you're investing into your future and retirement. It's about balance so if you want that M2 then get it. You can't carry your money after you're gone so live a balance life. I own three cars and get crap from friends and family all the time but I don't care because I know I'm investing into my future and my passion.
It’s all about balance. To save for the future is to sacrifice the present. Cube isn’t being objective in this video - yes, he feels it was a waste of money. Every purchase in hindsight is monetarily less optimal than investing but it’s a fallacy to believe only money compounds. Experience compounds because you continue to talk about it. If he never bought the car he wouldn’t have the same friendships, the same hobbies, the same experience - I’m certain he’s met with many car people, talked about cars, or helped friends with their cars and that’s all built on the foundation of wasting money buying into his car.
haha this is gold. Comedy and education at its best. The part where you said you're making videos for yourself and youre your own demographic LOOOL. I'm 23 right now and hopefully about to start working as a software engineer soon, so your stories and advice about your early moves with personal finance would be sick to listen to. thanks for the video frank!!
Hey Frank new subscriber here. I gotta say I found all of this advice so meaningful and impactful. I’m in a similar boat but to a less extent, I owe around $24,000 on a Mustang GT and $30k on my new truck. Making around ~$100k a year I still feel guilty for owing and not owning my cars, I want to own them but just spent over $80,000 putting 20% down (with more and more costs adding slowly) on a house and feel really stupid for owing so much on such a volatile income and lifestyle (UA-camr). Your advice is really inspiring me to make the right choice and start putting my money into appreciating assets and not cars I don’t really need. Much love man, thank you and please don’t stop being your authentic self. It’s so rare to see on UA-cam nowadays. Myself included.
thank you my friend! as you know first step is to acknowledge the issue which you already have. i appreciate your kind words, wishing you the best and success as well! congrats on the new home as well my friend!
Amazing advice Frank, I'm 22 and just starting to look for a proper job and it's amazing how insightful your view, thank you for all of your videos, been watching you since I was 12 and you were an inspiration growing up, thanks for everything!
Hey brother, keep on doing you. You're an inspiration in many ways. I love the fact that you're leaving your life out there for people to appreciate,. The more I watch, the more my life aligns with yours. God bless you dude
I am happy I found your channel. I relate to many things you have talked about in your video, I live with my mother, spent too much eating out, stuck playing video games... I watched your saying goodbye video, and I felt like i was watching myself in the video......I cried a little watching it.
Thanks for being so transparent. You’re 100% right and watching your video has made me realize I need to do things differently too. This and the video of you gifting your brother a land cruiser are the only videos I’ve watched. I see that you’re into a lot of the same things as me so you’ve got a new subscriber! I own a Tacoma and want to modify it.
Frank, I first started watching you in the 4th grade with my best friend. I’m now in my senior year of college and can confidently say that your videos have inspired my life in more ways than you know. I’m in a similar situation as you were regarding family and parents. I’ve been struggling to be smart with my money my whole life and have focused way too much on material possessions rather then helping others and investing into things that matter. This video was exactly the reminder I needed, thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge.
I know it's been said a lot, but I've watched your videos for a long time. Having you posting again regularly, especially at our age, is really enlightening. Please keep it up! Your posts mean more than you know.
Frank, I am glad you made this video. Literally almost everything you spoke about, starting from your first job out of school, is almost word for word what I have been through. This shit hits different hearing it from otherwise and is a real eye opener. Hope to see more videos from you!
Frank, u are incredible! Perfect way to end my night after work today! Always such great lessons from you! So grateful to live life side by side with you and go through our challenges and be able to converse about them. Thank you for being you and sharing your experiences with everyone
I really appreciate the fact that you posted this video that shines a light on how things are in reality vs what people think life is when they look at social media and tv and junk like that.
Glad u made this video. A lot of younger folks could learn a lot from this. I did the opposite of what you did. Helped my parents will bills and expenses and saved all my money whereas most of my peers spent their money on buying new cars, clothes, etc. I think it’s because my parents were supportive with me making my first big purchase (a 1k jacket) and then realizing that buying things didn’t give me happiness. After that, money was easy to save.
Why would anyone dislike this video? This guy is speaking the truth of how the real world works. Props to you man for sharing the troubles of your life. I hope many people take to heart the meaning of this video.
This is amazing. I was 20 yrs old when I bought My supra and spent almost everything In my savings on it. In hindsight it was a terrible decision and I would never do that again now but I got lucky because the cars value has increased massively. Since then I didn't make another purchase with that mindset. I have minimal debt, saved a shit load and bought a nice house and my Supra is paid for. I didn't get into horsepower wars and am happy with the BPU level. This video resonated so much with me especially the bit about guilt not helping parents. Thankfully I saw the error of my ways and changed my habits at a young age and not when I was 40 or something. Again thanks so much for making this, you can tell its not easy
At 21 I just went thru everything you talked about had like 20 grand at 16 and blew it all and now at 21 realizing I need to make better decision for my adult life amazing video I don’t even know you but just ran across your channel thanks for telling people the truth
This is a very insightful video Frank, thank you. My journey mimicked yours a lot - bought my dream 2011 E90 M3 five years ago, convinced myself I could make the monthly payments since I got a new job at a big tech company, then only years later, reflected on the missed opportunity where I could have invested all that money (and interest!). Definitely learned my lesson and now that I’m 31, I barely drive the M3 anymore but it serves as a good reminder of not putting short term fun over long term stability.
Frank! I remember being a young teen watching your stuff, and I always loved the fact that you seemed down-to-earth, lifted weights, & still focused on Engineering! Always had tremendous respect for you because of that -- I'm actually an Engineer myself now and I totally agree with your message here. Much love to you and the fam!
Haven’t heard this level of honesty on social media ever. You seem like a genuine dude. I’m only 19 and I’m happy that you put this message out for kids like me to watch.
I came across this channel today this morning and I am already learning al lot .thanks youtube for recommending this to me coz I have been in debt and lost focus just like you before. Cheers man.
I share your pain my friend. The mistakes I made when I was in my 20s and 30s has impacted me heavily now that I am in my 50s. I have learned from my mistakes and don't spend as frivolously as I did in the past. I respect your honesty. The one thing I can say though of my frivolous days is that I couldn't have done what I did then when I got older. I still probably would have done some of the same things but just tamed it down a bit and invested more.
Stumbled across your video this morning, only to see UA-cam suggested this one. You kept it real and I respect your honesty. Been there myself only difference is that I never took on debt. People look on and assume all these things. You have it made, you’re rich. Looking back I would have tried to convinced my younger self to just invest more and help more. I do it now but time lost can never be regained, especially the compounding effect of those years.
Hey Frank - I first subbed to you when I first started lifting back in high school for your fitness vids, but later on down the track found that you were not only a car guy, but a JDM fan too. I'm 23 now and can definitely relate, I'm only just starting to sort my finances together after years of putting my entire income into my drift cars. It's a weird thing that few understand, especially when you grow up loving cars. Especially in the Japanese scene, these cars are becoming more & more scarce and (luckily) as a result, are increasing in value. I can't help but feel that these years will be my last chance to own the cars from my childhood - and I'd like to look back on those fond memories in the future, regardless of whether or not cars are still a part of my life. Much love always !
thank you jd!! it's so true, i try so hard to find a balance between enjoying life where i am now but also planning for the future. totally get where youre coming from! thank you my friend!!
New subscriber here. I respect you tremendously with your transparency. Life is hard and expensive. Being there for your folks now and helping out is not something to look down upon. God bless you and your family. Keep the vids coming
Sometimes it is really healthy to be harsh on yourself, this year I started "saving" some money, which I could have done for many years but chose not to because I didn't "really need to save" I feel you, man.. Gotta learn and move on
LOLed at the analytics parts haha. I really appreciate you making the videos, you really are like a mentor sharing valuable knowledge, thanks again for taking the time to do this. ( also shout out to Joanne too!)
Man that was a great video. Takes a lot of courage to say what you did and keep it so authentic. A lot of ppl want to show off this glamour life style and the only person they are fooling is themself. Loved this video. And also made me take things in personal into perspective to make better choices.
I loved hearing about how your parents didn't pressure you to help with the bills and kudos to you for eventually figuring that out for yourself. Keep up with the vidz. Maybe some more workout videos?
Thanks for Sharing Frank! It's very true, we shouldn't try living out of our means. The fact that you realised sooner then later is what matters. Appreciate your honesty always!
I think that this is a great insightful video not only because it highlights we see only what others want us to see, but because it also highlights that we are always and consistently living in the present without taking into account our foreseeable future. The foresight we lack, because of a lack of experience in combination to not being able to properly weigh pros and cons objectively without our desires. Great video again Frank!
Hi Frank, Thank you for your lessons. I was thinking about buying a car beyond my mean. It's not over-exaggerated that you save some years of my life. Appreciate your content as always. Mike
Your personal experiences and knowledge is very insightful! I'm currently 21, but I do remember watching your old videos when I was a little ass kid haha (Asian Boy Just Wanna Eat Rice). Glad I found you again! Really looking forward to more of you!
Been a while since I have seen your videos, the last time I watched you was way back when you posted your video about sleep paralysis, I am glad you are still around and posting and reminding me to always stay as humble as you. Thanks for still being a great and humble entertainer Frank, you ARE THE BEST!
I'm in the midst of buying a house in the next few months and all I want to do is play fast and furious. You're fortunate enough that in the past you didn't have to worry about any responsibility when it came to bills. If my parents continued to pay all my bills indefinitely, I would have splashed out endlessly on cars. I think it forces you to grow up and mature when they burden you with responsibilities. It just goes to shows how lucky and loving your parents were.
I'm so happy it was someone like you with the ability to look back and learn and then teach others, that happened to get lucky and not have serious repercussions such as bad debt etc. I'm glad you have the opportunity to learn and grow and help, rather than suffer further from the past.
Nah, the moral of the story is: don't get mixed up with the bank. Thankfully I won't have to experience it myself to learn how bad it is considering my parents' experiences gave me a pretty good scare.
I bought a mk4 while living with my fiancee's parents (in 2019). Luckily we already had money saved for a house and bought one in 2020 but I dumped like $7K into it and I'm not even close to being "fast". The car has issues that still need to be resolved and had I just invested before the market went crazy, I'd have made enough to already pay the car off in ONE YEAR. I like to think I'm smarter now but I'm still buying tools and squandering money. The only excuse I can give myself is that I wanted to achieve something before I turned 30 and I did it. This story is very, very real, and hits me so hard. Thanks for sharing!
These videos are exactly the kind of experiences and life lessons I look forward from you every week Frank! Whether it's cars, fitness, or life in general, I thoroughly enjoy you sharing your thoughts with us!
Well Frank, you were young and it was just right that you'd live your life back then. If your parents would have forced you to pay the bills for them, you'd probably resent them. Now you help them because you want to, and this is what really important is. On a side note I remember reading posts on Instagram about a friend of mine about how perfect her job was... I discovered last week that she almost had a burnout and is looking for another place to go. It's so true that social medias are just the surface of our lives. We post what others want to see and nothing more...
Thanks for making this video Frank! I definitely needed to hear this and could relate so much, because ever since I got a good job, I've been obsessing and overthinking about what car to get. I was compulsively calculating how much car I could afford and unhealthily comparing myself to others on social media. It's hard being a car enthusiast who dreamt of cars growing up and then learning about finance as I got older. Every article would tell me to never buy a car, as its the worst "investment" in your early twenties. But the people who wrote these articles didn't grow up with posters of their dream cars on their wall. So it was really refreshing hearing it from your perspective.
reality check vids are always handy.

So her 35K covered most expenses while my income was additional. Of-course we'd like to buy nice things and live a nicer life, so sometimes we'd spend a couple thousand dollars on more materialistic things.

There are lessons I still need to learn and I’m loving the self awareness and life experiences you share.
thanks Harvey! thats definitely the other side I hadnt even thought of that, I appreciate you! I suppose it's all about balance
@@ice1cube does perspective this make you feel better about your spending decision? How yiu got to enjoy yourself and the supra all this time?
One of the most real guys on youtube grew up watching this guy. Much respect
thank you frazer!
Thanks for sharing and looking out for us... can’t wait for your next video
thank you my friend i appreciate you!!!
I look forward to every upload!
samantha my friend!!! i always appreciate your sharing and encouragement and support! the struggles of car enthusiasts hahaha
I bought a 2000 Sti type ra, now it’s just sitting in the garage cause I can’t afford to fix it 😐😐😐
BMO might as well trade in for a sti
Brian thesquid you better sell it than spending alot
Gee_El Gaming I’m going to keep it and fix it later
Dude we need more people like you on this platform, your honesty is so valuable to so many, I don’t know how to thank you sir.
Hey, I'm currently 17 and like watching vids like yours. I would like to thank you for being brave enough to tell others of your faults and teaching people like me lessons so that I don't have to learn the hard way. I have huge plans for the future and you are a big inspiration.
thank you Jose I appreciate you encouragement and support!
I love relatable videos that are a life check and yeah
I really hope this video goes viral. So many people need to hear this
thank you my friend!!
Honest UA-camr is what we need. Subscribed. Admired your purchases. It was rewarding.
Everything you talked about resonates so hard. Definitely I regret on a lot of things look back on how I spent and learned harsh lessons. Now in my 30s playing catch up, it hits hard. Thank you for sharing and it helps me feel someone can relate and been through similar things.
thanks my friend! look on the bright side! better late than never!
Love the latest video. Rarely any youtuber will be so honest about what's behind the curtain. You poured out your heart again and not just showing us the good but also the reality that we face regularly. But remember to give yourself grace too since we are our worst critic. His grace and mercy is sufficient each and everyday. :)
thank you my friend and thank you for all your support :)
Your honesty make me subscribed
I could add a whole paragraph here, but I'll just keep it short and sweet: You're one of the realest dudes out there and definitely the kinda bro everyone should have in their life. Glad you're still making videos and sharing life lessons without being preachy or judgmental. Cheers
thank you d! i appreciate you!
I attribute this all to my
Mother for showing me the way and opening my eyes. I still make mistake but it’s no longer about can I afford a car I buy for how it can help me in the future and how it fits into my goals. Glad to see a UA-cam individual who i can relate too both with values and upbringing.
As someone in his early twenties. Thank you.
thank you!!
Hey Frank, you don't need to explain yourself to anyone man. And hindsight is 20/20. Doesn't make you a bad person. You made money, you spend it on the things you enjoyed. Nothing was wasted.
thank you baldwin i appreciate you!
Mans look younger today than when I watched him 7 years ago.
hahahahah thank you yoshi!!
I'm 23 right now and hopefully about to start working as a software engineer soon, so your stories and advice about your early moves with personal finance would be sick to listen to. thanks for the video frank!!
software engineer! that's awesome, take advantage of all the perks and save early!

After that, money was easy to save.
thank you eric!!! i'm so thankful and i'm sure your parents are so thankful for you. thank you for your kind and open and honest sharing!!
Was it a Supreme jacket or sum?
At 21 I just went thru everything you talked about had like 20 grand at 16 and blew it all and now at 21 realizing I need to make better decision for my adult life amazing video I don’t even know you but just ran across your channel thanks for telling people the truth
thank you lucas!!!
Definitely learned my lesson and now that I’m 31, I barely drive the M3 anymore but it serves as a good reminder of not putting short term fun over long term stability.
i always want to say though.... at least you have a sick m3 hahahahahahahhahaha, but i agree, i appreciate your support my friend!
Hey Frank, I just found your videos. Thank you for existing, God Bless you!

thank you my friend!
I came across this channel today this morning and I am already learning al lot .thanks youtube for recommending this to me coz I have been in debt and lost focus just like you before. Cheers man.
thank you so much!!
I still probably would have done some of the same things but just tamed it down a bit and invested more.
thanks robert! i appreciate your sharing and honesty!

"Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not who someone else is today" - Jordan B Peterson.
This came into mind.
great quote!!!
Great video again Frank!
thank you my friend! always good to see you in here!
Hi Frank,

Your personal experiences and knowledge is very insightful! I'm currently 21, but I do remember watching your old videos when I was a little ass kid haha (Asian Boy Just Wanna Eat Rice). Glad I found you again! Really looking forward to more of you!
This is called growing up. You reflect on decisions and realize you messed up being selfish or irrational/impulsive.
absolutely!!
Been a while since I have seen your videos, the last time I watched you was way back when you posted your video about sleep paralysis, I am glad you are still around and posting and reminding me to always stay as humble as you. Thanks for still being a great and humble entertainer Frank, you ARE THE BEST!
thank you kuroshi!! this means so much to me thank you for your support all these years!!
It just goes to shows how lucky and loving your parents were.
so true jimmy! i've come to realize that a little too late but better late than never
preach brother preach. Love your video and your transparency!! Thank you!
thank you my friend!
So much profound infinite wisdom bombs dropped in this video you're a legend Frank
thank you kester!!!
I'm so happy it was someone like you with the ability to look back and learn and then teach others, that happened to get lucky and not have serious repercussions such as bad debt etc. I'm glad you have the opportunity to learn and grow and help, rather than suffer further from the past.
thank you my friend! always good to see you in here

Moral of the story: you can have any car you want but you’ll never be happy bringing your girl back home to moms house
But is he not bringing his wife to his mom's house? Sounds like a win to me
Big facts
Nah, the moral of the story is: don't get mixed up with the bank.
Thankfully I won't have to experience it myself to learn how bad it is considering my parents' experiences gave me a pretty good scare.
Thank you Frank for being real and honest
thank you my friend!!
I'm in the same scenario with my mk4... With half the income. This story is so real.
its doable depending on your priorities just try to stay reasonable haha
@@itsmemark1309 i'm glad to hear that mark!! appreciate it!

Big bro Frank laying down truths!
Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
thank you kevin!!
We post what others want to see and nothing more...
thank you andreas! and i appreciate your sharing and insight. thank you for always supporting me!!
So it was really refreshing hearing it from your perspective.
so true jack! i think it's sometimes ok to splurge a little bit more as an enthusiast this is our hobby, just need to find the right balance
