RIP Natalie
I saw this Carol Reed musical drama film masterpiece ... probably around 45 years ago ( more or less ) and am still in love with its production, direction, screenplay, actors, its book lyrics by Lionel Bart, etc. It was the first time that I watched Mr.Oliver Reed, play - though a little bit scary in his roll - he made a deep impression of his performanship in me ( and knew instantly he was a master actor I would recall afterwards ) and, of course, also, that divine infant : Mark Lester, whom took my heart away when he sang that splendid theme "Who will buy?". Am about to turn 58 but still hear in my head such splendid song. He sang it so limpid and candorously "Who will buy?". I would like to thank You all there very much sincerely who make these daily Oscars selections treats, posible as it is so very great to make the lovely recollection of so many wonderful, cinematic moments most of us enjoyed ° N A M A S T E
2001 is the winner in my parallel Universe...
I still do not see how "Oliver!" beat "2001". Anyway, nice to see Natalie Wood.
How Oliver Able To Beat top 3 movie of 1968
1. 2001 A Space Oddysey
2. The Lion In The Winter
3. Funny Girl
Oliver! has great art direction.
Had! It was a very good motion picture!
but but but 2001 was ahead of its time... nonetheless, Oliver was great too :"v
2001. Arggghhhhhgg

She's so delicious!
Oliver! deserved all of its Oscars.
Not really.
***** So you didn't like the film, others did.
It didn't pass the test of time like 2001 did.
What a beauty! May your killer burn in hell!
