Great video. I was on holiday in Paignton in 2014 and was gobsmacked by the Wednesday night bike night, custom bikes, strokers, old English bikes even a couple of Honda Pacific Coasts. It impressed me so much I promised myself to get back into bikes, and after 30 years I bought a VFR800 the following year and I am still loving it. The charity side of it really is the icing on the cake, well done everyone for running a great spectacle.

Looks amazing, love the old school chop, I worked on more than a few of those back in the 90's. Biggest Bike Nite in the South West eh? I think the organisers of the Weston Bike Nite (every Thursday) may have something to say about that. 😉

That unusual Moto Aprilia is a 650cc, engine by Rotax is also found in the BMW Funduros and GS650 Dakar, late ‘90s I think. That VFR750F rat bike…I have a stock ‘91 VFR750 like that, which I’ve had from new…runs like a Switch watch! Cool evening out by the looks of it, Rich!

Apparently (urban myth) the tank colour design was a cock up....Philippe Starck meant it should be grey or orange and 650....but he was more used to designing orange juicers....at that time Aprilia ordered parts from different producers and mostly just did design and assembly.....the Rotax engine also went into the Aprilia Pegaso and Bmw Strada with just a difference in the number of valves per cylinder. The other myth is the 6.5 was bought by the german military for target practice🏍️💨💨😸

Thats my 1098, and i can assure you it’s every bit as uncomfortable as you assumed 😂 but I wouldn’t change it for the world, although my lower back certainly loved the ride up from Plymouth 😏 you should come to the Plymouth bike night on Thursdays up on the hoe. Keep up the great work guys, it’s good to see people promoting biking
