There may be "better" WW2 games out there nowadays, but the fact I don't have to play online and rely on player population count makes this far better.
Got it a month ago and have been talking it up wherever I can. Its clunkier than a Hell Let Loose or Red Orchestra but most of the guts are there. Bots are brighter than you'd expect and will make you smile as much as you curse. Almost fell off the couch the first time one of them patched me up haha
As someone how played houndreds of hours against the bots back in Battlefield 1942 i love this game. Discovered yesterday in the Steam Sale for 15 € and i really love it.
I was a bit surprised that it wasn’t as sandboxy as I expected but then I started playing and with the amount of maps, ways to play and equipment to use you may as well call it a WW2 sandbox. Lots of resources on workshop too even modern stuff which is really cool. Just wish they upped the AI’s reflexes when in close quarters because they’ll often just run past each other then start shooting creating a big mess
This is the only game where WW2 soldiers have backpacks with items, lol. Makes sense that they would have items with them, not just ammo and a weapon, hmm. Never thought about this. Thx 4 vid. Do you remember Brothers in Arms? I think that was the OG ww2 squad game(kind of) from way back then.
Yea man, I have all the Brothers in Arms on PC, but played them on OG Xbox, back in the day 🤗 I have a video on one of them, it didn't age well, sadly 😪
I got this game a few days ago on Xbox Series S and I'm blown away so far. The fact there's so much detail, so much content, and no microtransactions (DLC packs instead) makes this a blast to play. I almost forgot there was a multiplayer side to things because solo is so addictive. Also had no idea there was coop for PvE. Ill have to check it out soon.
Love if it so far. Gives me 1942 vibes but bigger. Can’t wait to hop back on and play more campaign. Going to slowly collect the DLC first one I’m getting in D-Day
Cool review. Never heard of the game. I just want to suggest; a slightly longer video diving more into what you like and why you like it would be really nice.
It may not be perfect, the graphics may not be AAA... but it looks pretty cool. And I think the devs put their heart into it. Oh and Single Player? You got me on this one. It's $16 USD for all fronts on Steam. And the developer looks to be Italian?
Oh, and the developers will answer any question you have about bugs, features et cetera. I have never had a game where I could just ask the actual creators a question, and they answer within hours.
Lol No, especially if you have the AI on Hard Difficulty. I havent tried that 🤔 I know you can play co op online and pvp online. But I haven't been able to find a match. I quite like playing the game with the AI. It's pretty chill, yet insane at the same time lol
Just downloaded it a week ago and i dunno maybe it's just me but I can't get into the game , it's so clunky I don't like it as of right now but I'm not giving up on it , I need to give it another chance because all the reviews on UA-cam is nothing but positive for this game ...
It's nowhere near AAA quality, but for being made by a small team, it's impressive. It has its clunk, but for a game on the cheap, it has a lot of fun moments 🤗
It’s a fantastic game if it wasn’t all bots and also console sux because you can’t build maps to share with other online players. Game sux because not many real people play it.
That's the reason I do play it. I don't have time to play Multiplayer games anymore. I play this for fun. You are right though, if you want multiplayer, count this out.

Since this video came out there’s been some updates, Stalingrad campaign has been overhauled, new uniforms and AI has been updated too.

Reminds me of medal of honor allied assault and Call of duty 1 they were more linear but so awesome especially at that time!!

They have different battles or perspectives lof battles too. It makes me read books on WW2 history lol The Invasion of Kos, for an example.
If you are old enough to remember playing Battlefield 1942, definitely buy it. The UI makes it look clunkier than it plays. It is a blast!
