❓Hey! Sorry for the late upload, what do you all think of the video length? Do you prefer 7 minutes videos, even longer like 25 minutes or a healthy mix in between? ❓
Longer videos would be nice, but what was the AI settings you had on for how many there are? I would always die on the boat if I selected the commander on the Volga river crossing even on the switch. I now play on the Xbox since it released so I put the AI settings to max which make it even more fun and chaotic which I do recommend, thankfully there are new plane controls as well. When using tanks, if you're fighting other tanks, change the shell to AP, APHE, and HEAT. AP does the most damage against tanks, APHE is a mix of armor piercing and high explosive, and HEAT is the same thing as APHE, just weaker I think. HE can only damage lighter tanks, but it is still better to use AP on all tanks unless its like a jeep.
I just bought this game on my series x and it’s definitely a childhood dream come true. I couldn’t ever get battlefield 1942 to run right and when I did the AI was awful. So to be able to crank the ai numbers up and them be competent is pretty awesome 10/10
The ai on this game is horrendous. In this video Flanker got hit by one tank shell, other than that I didn't even see the enemy hit him with a bullet once, or even FIRE at him. They were right in front of him he was never even shot at once. Battlefield 1942 bots will actually kill you, you can turn up the difficulty. Doesn't sound like you played 1942 much.
@@sage8573 Oh trust me I died a good bit, there were about 5 more tank lives prior to the two shown in the video but I died very quickly each time without much gameplay or content to show so I cut it out.
@@sage8573 you die a lot playing this game on realistic difficulty with max AI. That being said, they’ve just started an overhaul of the AI (almost rewriting it from scratch). Keep an eye on it and you may be pleasantly surprised
I got easy read 2 a couple days ago. It absolutely slaps. It has everything a good world war II shooter needs. In the price for the main game and the DLCs is the cherry on top
I have a series S, was looking at "new games" and saw this bad boy with almost complete 5 star reviews. Seeing that, the price tag I thought "why not" after watching videos. Best $8 I ever spent lol
I found a couple of server with 10 people playing, I wanna say that if people start playing this online will understand how much potential it has. It’s like a more immersive enlisted with some hll/p.s. vibes
From the game that I refunded to the game I play the most, that is Easy Red 2 for me. It started weak, I gave it a second chance and it puts big companies to shame. It has more content than any other game, like you can play as Italian with accurate weapons and uniforms, you have Pacific theatre. Also the AI is better than i thought. Commanders calling for smoke, flanking enemy positions. Yeah it has jank, but it is so good.
Loved the GUP style tank drift it the latter part of the video. Believe it or not the 75mm howitzer version of the stuart did exist. It was made more for shooting bunkers more than enemy armor. That being said the Japanese primarily used lightly armored tanks so it was considered sufficient for that theater of operation. I'm gonna have to get this game. I like the fact it has bots and your not being forced into online only gameplay. Loved the video!
Thats awesome, I love learning history like that! In the Marines I operated the Amphibious Assault Vehicles and at our school they had the old LVT's from WWII which were always fun to learn about and get in. I would absolutley check the game out though!
The way the guns are designed, the map, and everything else are actually really good . The recoil, gun sounds, and weird flashes are absolutely hideous lol This game has a ton of potential
This looks exactly like what I’ve been looking for. Better AI than Enlisted and a bit more casual than Hell Let Loose. Playing it tonight after work. Can’t wait. Loved the video. One thing though- is there team killing? I don’t mean like intentionally going around killing your own guys but I’ve always been kind of bothered by shooters where your side is magically immune to friendly fire.
@@seanpryan15 honestly disappointed. To me it felt like a game that would have been awesome 10-15 years ago but it’s far too clunky for modern gaming. Lot of great ideas but the actual gameplay is very lacking. The flying is horrible. The view from 1st person infantry is too small. Can’t really even see the enemy unless they are running on a road. I had high hopes for this game. Played it all last night. Did all the training missions so I knew how to play. It’s not that it’s too difficult as much as it’s too busy. Can’t think of another way to describe it.
I agree, every cod fanboy who sees a trailer or video for this game goes "This looks like Roblox" or "Call of Duty has better graphics" so what, its also being made by a small team with a small budget, but the graphics actually do look good in my opinion. Everyone who says the game has bad graphics just play the recycled stuff that is "good" which can be, but is just recycled.
This game is amazing, i like how machine guns etc all need ammo to be used, i like the tanks work like warthunder, i once sniped with a tank machine gun
Don't know if someone else has mentioned, but those twin-engined aircraft you are fighting are Beaufighters. They have four 20mm cannons in the nose along with six 0.303s in the wings. Not something to be in front of. I have the game but don't play the aircraft so I don't know if they are accurately modelled or not.
It's been a minute since I've played the multiplayer but last I checked it was still kicking and you could create private lobbies! I'll see if I can check soon!

Hey there I recently purchssed this on xbox and performance is very similar to pc. Graphics are good too. However playing on a controller can be hard at times with navigating the hud and inventory but is manageable. If you choose to use mouse and leyboard you have the option. Overall this game is amazing
It doesn't really have anything in common with Red Orchestra 2 outside of being set in WW2. Right off the bat, a major difference is that it doesn't just take place on the Eastern Front. In fact, Easy Red 2 comes with 4 campaigns in the base game. Anzio, Kwajalein, Makin and Kos. Nations in the base game include the U.S., British, Australians, Polish, Japanese, Germans and Italians (although Italians are special in that they include fascist Italy and the Italian Republic). As well as respective equipment and vehicles for each nation. DLC includes Stalingrad (and introduces the Soviets as a nation with their equipment and vehicles). There is also DLC for France which includes early war France as a nation and also introduces the Battle of the Bulge with snow camo vehicles and equipment. The final DLC is Normandy and it's a massive campaign. No new nations, but an extremely long campaign from Omaha Beach (and every other beach landing) ending at the Battle of Caen with everything in between. It is easily the best DLC as the maps are really well done and it includes a ton more equipment. By comparison, Red Orchestra just features the Germans vs. Soviets. Here are some of the other differences between Easy Red 2 and Red Orchestra: -Planes (Red Orchestra doesn't have any planes) -More vehicles. Easy Red 2 has way more vehicles ranging from tanks and jeeps to halftracks, mobile artillery, flamethrower tanks, trucks, mobile AA guns, even civilian cars. -More maps. Red Orchestra only features Stalingrad. -Two game modes. Most maps are attack/defense, but there are some maps that are "tug of war" style. -Dedicated singleplayer. I think Red Orchestra has bots, but they suck. Bots in Easy Red 2 are actually pretty good. They can do things like coordinating flanks, calling in artillery on important locations, bomb targets with planes, flank with tanks, suppress, etc. -Modding Support. This here is the big one. Easy Red 2 has Steam workshop support and some of the maps there are sometimes better than what the developers have even made. So there is that too. You basically have unlimited content. Easy Red 2 also has a built in scenario/map editor. So you can create your own maps and campaigns.
The game is good when you have the ability to increase the number of AI but I can’t cause fucking Nintendo wants it “balanced” who fucking cares I wand to see carnage
The restriction to low bot count on the Switch has nothing to do with Nintendo wanting balance. It's to keep the game stable at a playable framerate. For the first few months after release, the Switch version would crash fairly often and suffer from framerate dips, and this was a common complaint on the Discord. The Switch is underpowered relative to what this game needs so it took a lot of optimization in subsequent patches, and it's impressive that the devs got it to run as well as it does at all. The devs are planning on doing a complete rework of how the AI works this year, and one of their goals is to make them more efficient in terms of processing power. If they're successful, they hope to increase the bot count possibilities on all platforms.
