    Just a quick note that this is not my daily meal plan. I eat different meals every single day and my calories, protein, carbs, and fats all fluctuate slightly. There'll be days where I have close to 400g of carbs and less fat and days like I'm the video where my carbs are slightly lowered and fats inflated. Every day is different!

      kian moran , Emily shaw and Mr.anonymous You all are closed minded and don’t have enough knowledge on this topic. Yes it is very important to get supplements and take them properly, make sure to get Whey, creatine and bcaa’s but don’t overkill it get what you need. Now you can’t take supplements without tracking what you eat on the table , you need to actually track what you eat and don’t eat bs like processed foods, junk foods or not drinking enough water. All these things matter not if you use commas or not . Don’t call girls bitches , not that I’m protecting them or calling them angels cause they’re not . It’s important you don’t call them bitches is because it shows that you don’t have a weak mindset, it’s like you don’t know how to control females. It’s really easy, Try to be more icy because you won’t be easily bothered. Don’t let no one get into your head.💪🏽💪🏽

    Its refreshing to see a athlete Channel where the focus is on performance and not about being in shape. After a while I have kind of gotten bored by all the fitness Channel when Its about gaining or shredding all the time. Its important to focus on fitness and having a great body as a soccer player/athelte in sports, but the focus is on performance and I find that Its much more enjoyable compared to always go around and think about how your body looks. Keep it up matt👌🏻💪🏼

    Hi Matt, I´ve been watching some of your videos and I like the football content, good job!
    I know this is an old video. But please, let me give you some cooking tips. I'm a cook, and this is just a constructive coment, there is no "hate" or something in it, just trying to help.
    1. For breakfast, you can cook first your bell peppers to make it softer, then add your egg whites, leave the tomato and basil last. With a good nonstick pan, you need less oil that you are using (making it healthier).
    2. Cooking meat: The pan must be really hot, so it creates Maillard reaction when it touches the pan and sear the meat properly holding the juices, it's going to be absolutely tastier. Again, with a good nonstick pan you don't need that oil amount, and try to not use a metal fork on your nonstick pan 'cause you don't wanna scratch it.
    3. Green asparagus: You can boil it in salted water for about 1 min and then eat it with a drizzle of olive oil, or boil it 30 seconds then directly to the pan for another 30 seconds sauteed. Once again, you need less oil.
    4. Try to cook salmon less, find your "sweet spot" with your oven to have it a little more juicy.
    5. Let the food chill before putting the lid on and moving it to the fridge, if you do it hot, that can ruin your food.
    Last but not least, spend some money in kitchen tools. A lot of people don't have this considered, but a good pan, sharp knife/a sharpener and a better cuttingboard is going to make your life really easier, and you're gonna save a lot of time cooking.
    Hope this helps, take care!

    • @akritskiy
      @akritskiy 4 роки тому +1

      Totally agree on #2... that was SO MUCH oil. Also, I'm surprised nobody else commented this, but...
      1. Salmon is not a lean protein. I wish it was, because salmon is delicious, but an 8 oz piece of salmon is like 45 g protein and 30 g fat. The calorie ratio is 60/40 (60% of calories coming from fat).
      2, Matt, bro... you flipped that chicken and the raw part landed on the cooked side of the other piece...
      and 3, you know you can use a spoon to scoop all the avocado out, right? You can literally get all of it in 1 second :D c'mon man
      Haha :D anyway, cool vid. Cya Matt.

    • @Cheskoskiy
      @Cheskoskiy 4 роки тому

      @@akritskiy yeah! Nice point with salmon. Plenty of good fat and omega 3, but not the leaner protein. Good comment bro, have a good one

I just want to say that this video has really inspired me to go on and take on my own spin on this lifestyle. For my senior year I’m thinking of taking up some soccer again and was looking up some dieting and training to ease myself into it, yknow. I think it’s fate that yours popped up first. I just loved the humor and the understanding that you conveyed throughout your video. You’re awesome.
    Okay, I’m officially done gushing about how amazing your video was, lol.

    Hi! Just a tip: If you eat more potatoes at night you´ll have eaten more carbs and calories, so you won´t need to carb up on icecream.
    I just see it often that people eat too little carbs in their meals and overdo the fats and proteins. 10 minutes after their meal they don´t feel satisfied ( because they had too little wholefood sugar/carb sources) and grab just "some" chocolate or icecream.
    The sweettooth is no bad habit, it is the natural instinct that tells us to eat simple carbs.
    Try eating 5 bananas before your dinner meal or more sweetpotatoe in your dinner and see if you still want icecream.
    If you can´t stomach that, just eat half of your fish, it´s enough protein anyway, ( I bulk with less than 100g of protein weighing 80 kg = 176 pounds)
    Greetings

    Yeap. That’s exactly how I always ended up with “omelette” when I attempted to cook egg white with veggies. Mine looks just as terrible. 😹

    Anyone know how to cook chicken breast? From what I can tell you lay it on until you can see the outer edge from the underside turning white/opaque and not the same color the chicken was when it was raw. Then you flip it over ? Someone help

    I am 5'11" and 245 lbs. I am trying to lose 50 lbs. Would this help me? Looks delicious! The reason I want to lose weight is because I look at Pics of me when I served in the Marines (two deployments to Iraq) and I looked and felt way better back then.

    Eat your fruit before your protein for optimal digestion and to avoid bloating and gas. :)

    To prevent the cutting board from moving put a white towel or rag underneath. This prevented me from getting cut.

    This video was great. It's made me realise I'm eating too many wheats and grains and not enough fruit and veg. I completely agree with your point that it's ok to eat a cheat meal once in a while, the body and mind appreciate it!!! Liked and subbed. Peace.
