@@doctorfeelok8575 looks pretty underwhelming, you get a remote with 2 big buttons on it for 100 bucks; I would take this over the Xbox one respectfully
This is both beautiful and humbling. Reminds me of the time I learned my online buddy who was ALWAYS online gaming, was actually bed ridden. He was physically unable to move and could only game all day. On days where I felt lazy, he’d remind me “dude. You have the OPTION of going outside… this game will still be here when you come back. Please go outside and live for me.” And that’s exactly how our games would go. We’d play. Then after a bit he’s say “ok, times up. Go live our life please. I’ll be here when you get back.”
As a accessibility consulted myself, I am a visually impaired gamer, but I would just like to say I loved watching these stories. I do have a access controller on pre-order, and will be reviewing it myself. I am also looking to get into consulting with developers with gaming and consul, so feel free to reach out.😊
This is lowkey amazing for the industry and will hopefully push developers and manufacturers forward. I can't imagine not being able to play games and I'm genuinely happy for the people who can make use of this stuff.
@@custardgannet4836The xbox version looks much simpler, requires outside devices to be fully functional. This is an all in one accessibility controller, no further purchases required.
It’s a beautiful thing seeing the way that everyone’s able to set it up and use it in a way that’s unique to them and that’s amazing❤️ Gaming is for everyone ❤️
This is awesome! Seriously, this will make so many gamers' lives so much easier and will allow many, MANY people who couldnt enjoy gaming finally be able to 😊 Bravo Sony! Now lets keep improving on this!
Something that is easily taken for granted is not being disabled. I love playing video games and it doesn't cross your mind on what other may not be able to do without help. I am incredibly proud of Sony coming out with a product like this so that others can enjoy these games as well.
I’m happy that we’re at the point where almost everyone can play the games they’ve wanted to without hindrance. Gonna get a lot more players to our base!
Gaming is for everyone. Every single person on this planet deserves a fair and equal opportunity to experience video games. Regardless of ability or circumstance. Gaming is for everyone.
I need this in my life. I could always just use an arcade fight stick on my PS3. I have Cerebral Palsy and I look forward to trying this out hopefully soon.
Did anyone else think the controller was way bigger before seeing this? For some reason, based on the all the other marketing for this, I always thought it was like this giant 2ft-wide disk
That's genuinely a nice thing to have, this is what accessibility should be in games, but not like an unpunishable easy mode like games have become nowadays outside of souls-like
I know sony is getting a lot of flack from us gamers for playstation plus offerings but this have earned my respect for them totally. I will renew my subscription because of this alone.
There is a small setting that is missing on the PlayStation OS, in the same menu where you have the ability to reverse buttons between them on the dual sense, it is to be able to reverse the X and Y axes of the camera joysticks. Many people like me play with the axis reversed and many games do not offer the option. Be careful I am not talking about the adjustable preference, but rather about forcing to reverse the axis (value of the joystick * -1). For players like me who are used to playing reversed and who have learned to play this way it is really a lack.
Can somebody recommend an external joystick/thumbstick to install on this controller. I am trying to figure out a way to play COD, but its not possible with only 1 stick.
So happy this is here will give my son whom recently became disabled the opportunity to play with his friends he was a huge gamer . Nba2k specifically. Does anyone know if this works with all PS5 games or limited to certain games. I really hope it works with nba2k . Thank you
Being disabled doesn't mean not being able to have or earn money. These things are not done for charity. The world works like this and so do the companies. It costs what it costs and you can't expect a normal company to spend billions making this for later not earning nothing. These people are already more than gratefull for finally having something like this which makes them able to play games, and so would i if i were them
So many emotions are hitting me at one time. Happy, sad, proud and happy again. It's beautiful that everyone can play.
🥲
Sad?
@@Autobot_Studios I'm sorry if I offended you but that's what i felt.
You don't find this level of inclusivity with that many companies.
Bravo Sony 👏
Gotta aprecciate it honestly. This is the true inclusivity

Simply incredible!!! Congratulations Sony!!! What recognition...
This is why i love sony they really go above and beyond with this, so anyone can enjoy there favorite games regardless of someones disabillity

emocionante. parabéns por uma iniciativa tão bonita que transformará a forma que tanta gente se relaciona com games 💙
Nice great work Playstation
You make it for everyone easy 👍
Very humbling, puts things into perspective, gamers come in many forms and should never be unable to enjoy this hobby.
Es ist einfach nur wundervoll, dass es solche Controller für eingeschränkte Menschen gibt!
These people inspire me. Absolutely beautiful people and I wish you guys all the best
