Snowfeet are excellent for rollerbladers. Heel brake is a nice feature. Tips to get started: Bend your knees they give you greater control. Start with one foot forward to gain stability. Weight on middle or back of foot.
honestly bought it as a teaching/training aid for young beginners. skiskates are awesome entry level. skiboard 60cm is the perfect intermediate between actual skis and skates. picking up the 99cm skiboard this year to have some fun now
Thank u for doing a comparison! Last year I had a terrible time on the slopes with regular skis. I thought to myself I am amazing at ice-skating and I’m in such control while doing it. Only if they can make skis shorter I would be able to master it. Lo and behold I look at my phone in here it is! I like to feel light on my feet I don’t like to feel Like there’s 100 pounds on each foot. So if you say go with the skis instead of the feet that I will.
Been going back and forth on the snowfeet vs the skiskates. Just pulled the trigger on the skates! Stoked to try them out and be able to ride easier with my husky!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
2 years later. Was it worth it? Do you like Skiskating? I have a rebuilt ACL and also can't ski so I would llike to start with any of these two options.
These seem like they would be a fun gimmick for a couple runs then I’d break my snowboard back out. They seem really good for like hiking bc they’re small and don’t take up a lot of space. I wish there was a board shop that rented these out bc I just wanna try it for a day but I don’t wanna spend $200 bc I don’t think I’d use them that much
30 years ago, me and a few of my inline skating friends got to try a product that was similar to those snowfeet things when we were up at Sierra Summit here in California which is now known as China Peak. We were invited out to try them out since we aggressive skated at the time. It was fun but tricky. We ate snow a lot. They were not as polished as the snowfeet are. Those skate skis even look better hehe.
The advantage of a normal skii is that even though it is heavy it does offer a form of control but the skii skates the snowfeet offer speed but need ALOT of control however i already have enough experience so i MIGHT be able to use it
These look easier than both skiing and boarding. I snowboard and I’m average. I used to skate at skateparks and whatnot so the ski skates seem easy in my head. I’m like yeah. They’re rollerblades in snow. Lol
I know you said the skiskates are faster but did it feel like you were going slow in the snowfeet? I like the snowfeet price and am thinking about purchasing a pair for me and the kids.
@@tjwin1481 ahhhhh shit fair, lemme know tho aye I've always wanted to go threadbo but I mostly do aggressive inline so I thought these would be good for me.
It is because of the skating motion on snow you can do with these, therefore you don't need poles as well as you don't use them for skating. However, if you feel more comfortable with poles, feel free to use them! 🙂

Hi there . Have you tried the ski shoe things yet, and if so are they worth it?
@@JA-bx1sh wayyyy easier to maneuver than big clunky ski’s
Meanwhile I come from skating and was running blacks and hitting jumps and boxes on my third day lmao. Did you get lessons?
are you talking about the Skates or the Snowfeet?@@lbabytutorials4852

Just the comparison I needed :)

I just went snow sporting for the first time on some gifted snowfeet. Dude, my whole leg got a work out!
Do you like the Ski Skates better than the original Snowfeet?

As with everything, practice makes perfect! 🙂

I had THE SAME THOUGHT. I am not athletic but I'm like ..... I can rollerblade... Just maybe I can have a winter sport lolol
Is it just as easy to slow down and stop like with regular skis?
I know you said the skiskates are faster but did it feel like you were going slow in the snowfeet? I like the snowfeet price and am thinking about purchasing a pair for me and the kids.
So this one is easier or the traditional one?
Are these legal in most resorts?
Why wouldn't they be
@@claymoresteel Australia has rules that I feel might make these not legal

@UA-cam Account first time buddy
you're wearing these with snowboard boots right?
What happens in deeper snow?
I noticed you didn’t fall with the snowfeet …the choice is obvious
these would be great for winter warfare
Why not use poles still though? Is it because they're so short poles aren't needed? Really interested in both products.

Both look like something you do at first chair. Then you switch to skis or board later in the day
Ok…
people with good ice skating experience would be in favour of skiskates
I play ice for a long time , I'm definitely getting a pair... I ski as well so ... No brainer
I bet these cost just as much as normal skis
👍👍
Looks like socks and sandals lol. I want to do this so bad

No helmet is crazy
