Good Sir, could I inspire you to do a knife sheath video? Which sheaths are good for vertical, horizontal, concealed carry etc. And how they do in general. Bought a lot of knives that have bad sheaths which disqualify them for EDC in an instant. Just have a feeling that you would pull off a great job doing a video of that kind. Thanks for your reviews. Really grateful for facts instead of marketing hype.
Already ordered one! Currently a big fan of the Corgi regular blade but not the sheepsfoot version. The hedgehog looks like a better form factor for sheepsfoot in my opinion. Thank you for the review and the tests. Greatly appreciated!
Good afternoon Stassa I just got the Vosteed Hedgehog in blue and black G-mastic. Watch all your videos and I was curious about the hedgehog because of the blade steel and shape! It is a slicy blade!! Glad I follow you! Dave
I wouldn’t mind a d2 version to save some $$. As a whittler/carver, I’m really attracted to the blade geometry and finger choil, along with the substantial handle thickness.
It's probably just my lack of coordination, but I can't open knives with thumb studs. Flippers work fine for me, and I can even reverse flip open knives with a hole in the blade, but that thumb stud is useless to me.
Make it 1 inch longer and call it the warthog and I would buy one in a heartbeat. I just want something bigger. I have giant hands and the trend these days is for 3 inch knives and it is driving me crazy.
I also have big hands, but live in a state where 3" is the max blade length I can carry so this has some appeal. I think that's may be part of that trend, as 3" is a common length restriction so it widens the pool of potential buyers.
@bigbl8717 bro, that is unfortunate about the 3" length. I am not saying this is a bad knife. As I do not have the constraint of the 3" limit, I just want them to make a larger version. Keep this size, there is nothing wrong with it.
@@adbramsay oh, for sure. I was just explaining why they may have gone with that blade length. I always hate when a knife has like a 3.03" or 3.1" blade length. I'm like, come on, shave a little off! 😆 Illinois knife law is weird, as 3"+ blade length is considered a dangerous weapon, but letter of the law if you're carrying it but don't have "intent" to commit a crime, it's technically not prohibited except on publicly supported property. But I carry 3" and under because I'm not trusting interpretation of intent.
@bigbl8717 Yeah, why take the risk. Cops have it tough, I do not envy their position. I admire them a lot ( the good ones, that is, and most of them are ). Most of them just want to get home to their lives, families, and friends. I have family that are cops and even though the letter of the law may say one thing, it may be "policy" to interpret the law a certain way. Back to the knife, I love it, but I have super thick hands, to the point of being annoying. I have short, thick fingers and a massive palm, so most knives are an awkward shape for me.
@adbramsay 100%. I'm not an LEO but in an adjacent field (Pretrial) so I work with officers day in and day out, and know most of them in my area. So especially locally, I really don't have anything to worry about. But like you said, why risk it. I think I'm going to try to pick those one up eventually, it's just not top of the list for me. I just bought a Demko AD20.5 in 20CV because it was too good of a deal to pass up at $149, so my budget is tapped out on knives, haha.

I really enjoy the testing montages you put in your videos.

I got my blue one in this past weekend. I love it, and that lock is super solid
I think you said it well in the beginning. A good little big knife. 😊 Wouldnt mind seeing a large version.
Love a lot about the knife. Cant wait to see what other designs they put this lock on

Great review. Would like to see a comparison in lock strength between the Ankylo and the Hedgehog in the future.👍
Thanks man! Great review as usual! Gonna get one soon!
Really thinking about getting One!!! Very Cool looking !!!
Love this knife. The body screws on my gmascus version are t8 🤷🏽♂️
Vosteed’s website claims 60+-2 HRC for the S35vn. This is a range of 58-62 HRC. Can you confirm the 60-62 HRC range this video advertises?
Like the look of this one. Thanks
Mine is on the way.
Nice piece with a nice lock!
Will we get a demko shark cub testing video?
Have the blue one coming!!

What concert did you go to ?
Anyone know of a wire clip that would work on this?
Paying homage to Ron Jeremy. 😎
I'd still prefer the Kansept Loki
groovy

I get super offended by the fat sausage finger remarks..I excerise them a lot and just can't seem to slim them down 😢. Jk😂
Everyone is giving this one high marks
