These are sooo pretty. And I love the tray with handles 😍🤍 I used to find dried and pressed flowers all over my apartment..from collecting them and finding them later 😅 Love this idea 😍💐
Nice tutorial! I have questions: why you need liquid latex? What is the top (third) layer doing, why we need that? What kind of markers do you use for the trims? Thank you! ❤️
Thank you! I use liquid latex to protect the bottom side of the piece when I do my top coat out of the mold, so that any resin that drips over will easily come off with the latex. I usually do this last layer with a resin with a higher heat resistance, and it nicely domes the piece. (Not entirely necessary, but makes for a nice touch/higher quality). For the trim I use an edding gloss paint marker - i have links in the description 😊
Really pretty Nadia, I love the simplicity and freshness the clear resin and flowers give. How long do you keep the flowers pressed before you can use them, not done that before would like to give it a go on some coasters. 😘😘🦋🦋
Hi! This is very beautiful. You have amazing hands.. But, I have a question, what is the function of the liquid you put under coaster and then remove it?
Hi.. Your tray looks beautiful.. Could you please tell me why the last top coat was required? Also did you add flowers on the same day as you did the first pour?
Thank you. Some questions... (1) In the first step, adding resin, are both sides glossy? Or is the side against the mold matte? (2) In the second step, adding liquid latex, what does this do? (3) In the third step, what is the top coat? Is it more resin just like in the first step? What happens if I just stop after the first step? Is it durable? I haven't created anything yet!
Thank you! It’s used to protect the back of the coasters/tray while doing the top coat. This video shows how I use it ua-cam.com/video/5-VBL4k24ho/v-deo.html 😊
Is there any reason why you can’t get top coat on the bottom of the coaster? Also, can’t you just do the top coat while they are in the moulds? I’m just learning ▪️
i love this design! I was curious about the gold trim and how you applied those to the coasters! Are they gold rings you purchase and add in while the resin is curing the same way you added the handles for the tray?? im obsessed with the gold accents lol
Seems like many people do not know the purpose of the latex. It is there to prevent drip from the last layer of resin to spread to the flat bottom, making bumpy edges, correct me if I am wrong. Now, my question is, why not apply the edge gold coloring before casting the last layer of resin? That way it would be glossy and protected from wear.

You can use paper towels. Get books ready for weight. Put the paper towel (1-2 layers) inside a book, so in between the pages. Position the flowers the way you want them to dry. Don't overlap the flowers. Then add another layer or two of paper towels on top of the flowers. Gentle close the book. Pile books on top of that for weight and let it sit until dry, so maybe a few weeks. If you want to do flowers without flattening them, like a rose, you can use silica gel. You can buy that at a craft store or online. Cut the stem of the rose short and at an angle. Pour some silica gel into a jar. It is actually a powder. Gently put the rose, stem side into the silica gel. Then gently pour the silica gel into and around the petals. Close the jar with a lid. The silica gel will pull all the moisture out of the rose. Once it is dry, gently pour out the powder and then turn the flower upside down and gentle shake out any leftover powder. There are videos of this process online.
what is the latex for on underside only to peel off? is the resin top coat a different grade the base layer, what advantage does the top coat offer? Do you need a finishing seal on the bottom incase any flower and stalk material not encased with main resin pour? Do you get air bubbles and how do you fix them?? have you ever had any reactions from any plant material causing discolorations???
I'm nt sure why you used th liquid latex ?? What purpose was it for if you removed it at the end ??? Also can you put hot cups on the coasters ot just cold drinks ?? I once saw someone make coasters and say not to use anything hot on them like a coffee mug. Is that right ?? They turned out lovely i know my sister would love these.. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing .. xxx
Hai I like your videos. I have question. What should we use better, pressed flower/dried flowers or fresh flowers just oke? Also the flowers inside the resin will turn into brown color or it will stay colouful forever? Thanks
Hi, thank you! I'm currently taking a break from commissions until September 1st, but you can check out my Etsy shop for available items 😊💓 www.etsy.com/shop/SummerGirlArt

Very pretty! These would make great sun-catchers to hang in a window.
Will the sun fade the flowers' color?
Crafting with resin, you elevate art to a state of liquid perfection. 🌊✨

Very nice...I like it
Beautiful....just would like to know what is liquid latex, why is applied and removed off on drying
Great video! Wondering why you add the gold trim last without sealing it in? Won't it chip off? If you added it before the top coat would it run?
So very pretty 💮

They are Amazing!! Which resin do you use?
These look very beautiful but Cant the second coat of resin be added while its still.in the mould
Really very nice 👌👌👌

Hi, may I ask... What is the use of liquid latex when it will be just removed after? Please help me understand, Thanks
it doesn't allow the resin to drip and harden on the back side, if any resin drips it stays on the latex area, which is removed easily.
Amazing ❤
Beautiful work 😍
تحفه very very good
i likr the decoration
really beautiful. is it possible to have a list of all that was used
PERFECT
Thank you! 🙈

What is the reason of adding latex and how exactly did you put golden rims. What is the sketch marker that you used ?
I think she put gold powder around the rims before putting the resin in
You guys it shows at the end her adding it with a pen by hand haha
Paint pen on the final product 👍
@@prachi1611 i think she used the latex as a grip for when the coaters are placed on the table
Giọng anh rất hay, cảm xúc nữa ạ.
Beautiful
Curious to know - what was the purpose of adding the latex underneath, only to remove it later? Great tutorial
Amazing. I like it.
Beautiful !
Hey girl, super cute! I don’t see the tray mold on your affiliate link? 😌🙂

Awesome 👍 .

This is awesome! What did you use for the top coat?
Those are amazing! I have a question. Can this tray be washed with soap and water? the metallic pen on the side won't come off?

Soo nice dear, may I know why liquid latex for & why u remove it when dry?
beautiful!!! do you have a video to dry the flowers ?

Excellent work!!! Do you put some realizing agent in the silicone molds to prevent epoxy stick to the molds?
what is the latex for on underside only to peel off?

Very beautiful coasters. Do you use a different resin mixture for top coat or the same as you used in the moulds?
was wondering the same thing
SO Beautiful. What is the purpose of the latex layer?
Hai I like your videos. I have question. What should we use better, pressed flower/dried flowers or fresh flowers just oke? Also the flowers inside the resin will turn into brown color or it will stay colouful forever? Thanks
such a beautiful design, what is the purpose of using the liquid latex?
These are gorgeous...but what is the point of the liquid latex?
so are paining with the gold pens ontop of the coster edge too?
Beautiful.... What is the purpose of the liquid latex if you are removing it?
To avoid having to use liquid latex pour the top coat while project is still in the mold😊
Beautiful how long do you let your flowers dry? Thanks
Beautiful 😻
