I thought the 44 was too tall to get through some of the bridges/
This is absolutely the best detailed video I've seen on the Great Loop. Thank you so much for sharing. We had our sights set on the Fountaine Pajot MY6. She met all the dimension limitations for navigating "the entire loop". One thing about your Aquila 44 that's kept me up nights is that master suit on the main deck😍🥰🤩😍!!!! We plan on taking our parents who are in their 80's. Not having to go down or up many stairs is GOLD!!!.
Now, my problem is, how is you beautiful boat under 15 feet in air draft (bridge clearance)? Everything I've read says you gotta be under 15 in air draft to navigate The Erie Canal.
How can we get that PowerPoint? 😀
A great question 😅 you can always re-watch the episode! If you are considering the Great Loop, it takes a ton of planning, so definitely work with trusted captains and other sea-faring individuals for advise, tips and planning.
have a 2021 44', does anyone have a vibration while underway. mine vibrates above 1800 rpms
