Wow, what a revelation - pun not intended - to realize so soon after your Holy War vitory to feel the negative consequences of being the bully. Thanks for sharing, Zander
Wow! Thank you, Zander for sharing this message of Charity. I recall that there was once a wise man who went around telling people to love their enemies. Of course, He wound up being nailed to a tree so you know that message is not always well received. You are brave to share this on the Net (AKA the hate factory) and I thank you for that! Little by little love, peace and charity will triumph!
@@Official_Random_Guy aka Christian perspective. That is cool. I do not subscribe to your religion. Nevertheless, if that verse helps you deal with angry people effectively, good for you.
But the reality is, some of you have put yourselves on pedestals and live like you are high above the rest-it’s as if you assumed I would not return to confront your misguided pride.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. I’ve met many homosexuals that claim to be Christian. However, the Christian churches that preach that homosexual behaviour is acceptable are false prophets. They twist the truth just enough to justify and thereby mislead down the wrong path. And it becomes even more insidious with the whole trans thing. Often the argument to try and support the behaviour is that “Jesus loved everyone” and “it’s not your place to judge” but these are directly misinterpreted, and in my opinion deliberate mischaracterization a of it. Yes Jesus loved everyone. But loving everyone doesn’t mean being a doormat or tolerating everything they do. In fact if you do this, you don’t love at all. A gentle correction and admonishment is a much more sincere Showing of love and care. Because it shows your actually paying attention, complete acceptance however is not actually acceptance but apathy. Which apathy is the complete lack of care. Also, it is the place of Christian’s to judge other Christians. In fact it’s explicitly written out in the Bible. In fact the oft quoted verse “Judge not others lest you too be judged”… well people end the quote there rather than looking at the next verse which adds so much more context. “For the measure by which you hold others, shall be the measure by which you too are judged” This is not in anyway, shape, or form saying one should not judge others. But that you should ensure that you are holding yourself up to the same measure that your judging others by. Many profess to be Christian. Yet even Jesus said himself that “many will come to me and say Lord Lord, and I will tell them, begone, I do not know you” most people today who claim to be Christian, aren’t. They hold the moniker, but they do not hold the teachings, nor do they attempt to apply them to their daily life.
I think you may have rather missed the point - "only he who lifts up his cross" ( Zander's point - anger and self righteousness never got anyone anywhere) "can be a follower of Christ". We may all strive for righteousness but only one is righteous. I don't see Zander asking anyone to loose their sense of judgement, or even to change their view, but to behave with less anger and fear - perfect love, after all, casts out fear.
@@mrsgbates9472 except that Zander is living a lie, she is a she, not a he. And it’s not at all loving to enable someone to live a lie and believe that the lie is ok or acceptable. You can tell someone that they are wrong, and need to change without hating them. Parents do that with their kids all the time. In fact to not correct the children is to not love them.
Thank You for watching this video. I hope you take me up on my offer to join me and FAIR in finding ways to build rather than demolish bridges.
