In chord mode, if you save a couple chords and then you change the scale of the notes on the left, do the saved chords change to the new scale or the stay the same as they were saved?
Man, All of the information like how to set up the buttons to play clips and in general how to get started you say will be talked about in a bit but is never talked about. This is a good video I am sure for people who know how to set this up and are in the industry but sadly I am not that person and I am having a difficult time finding videos on how to do that. Any links to some very basic videos on assigning clips to screens or tracks and explaining the set up would be greatly appreciated.

Yes and you can add a second note to get 7th chords also 😃 What is weird is that in chord lock, you play notes with a vertical scale, while in notes mode, the scales are horizontal... The best would be to be able to go back to notes modes, with the two right columns reserved to chords
I am having a problem with fx sends on the LP P mk3. The second send button lights up correctly but does not switch to second fx send values on the 8x8 grid pads when engaged. So I can only control one send. Did you have this issue?
The big price difference is of course a big plus especially for those that don't need all of the Push features. However, two more major advantages are that the Launchpad Pro Mk3 can be used standalone to control hardware without a computer, and for me the biggest advantage is that it's much more portable.

Launch Pad can be used for Octapad patch changes by midi settings??? by midi this setting is possible??? launchpad and octapad connection is possible by midi setting???? launchpad is only used for ableton software???
Big shoutout to the camera crew who filmed the touchpad. Just the right amount of exposure to ensure none of the colours on the pads are visible whatsoever, almost rendering the entire tutorials completely useless.

I've only used it in standalone mode to drive my Korg Wavestate. It seems to add a quality to the sound that the keyboard alone doesn't do. I can't describe it but it's there.
ok so it seems it doesnt work. in Launchpad Pro you had 32 scales! and now in MK3 you got 16 scales. the Custom Mode is a disaster? how can you e.g. add 16 more scales with all root notes? it seems to be not possible and the custom mode page is a disaster, adding notes you have to drag and drop 64 note widgets seperately and for each scale and note? im sorry but this is a bummer and total disaster if true, i hope you got a solution i dunno and would love to hear if you have one :)! novation seems to really not describe this well or not have a solution
I don't have a Launchpad yet. Which scales did you need? I noticed no lydian, and Locrian! I want to have the keyboard in B locrian so its laid out like the natural notes on my 6-string bass. I had a go at putting it into the online editing program, and it's a bit tedious. But it looks like it'll work just fine... I figure i'll only have to make 1 custom layout.

These are found on the Pro model or the LaunchKey Mini MK3 which is in a similar price bracket to the LaunchPad Mini, making them a good combination. All the best :)

I agree 8 tracks would have been better but a 4 tracks sequencer under $300 is already a very good deal :D

Ideally you need to underexposure when shooting things with lights, it’s pretty hard to see the colours, good tutorial otherwise.

the light is so bad you can barely see the led...
In person the LEDs are much more visible, the camera doesn't do such a good job picking it up with our bright lights unfortunately.
