Thank you so much for your video. My vacuum stop working and I couldn't understand why. After looking at your video I found out that my filter was clogged with dirt. I was almost ready to throw it away thinking that it just stopped working. Again thank you for your informative video.
I got one for my car. Didn't realize it only holds a charge for about 10 min. That's annoying. Looks like I'll have to vacuum my car in stages/on different days/etc, as it takes more than 10 min. to do a thorough job. Thanks for this review!
I'm looking for a vac for my car too, but just need something to pick up the pine needles, tiny pebbles and dust that all cars pick up and honestly don't need more than 2 minutes here and there. If you want longer running times, you're going to have to get something way bigger and more expensive, something like a Dyson V8 Trigger.
Excellent & thorough review! I was considering the one at Costco (WV201) and wanting to know the precise difference over the one Walmart sells (WV200). Much appreciated 🙏
I liked the presentation. I have one but I don't have the charger and it doesn't say how many volts it has. I would like to know if you can tell me the charger's voltage and amperage. I would appreciate it. See you soon.
Nice video. I just picked one up and mine came with 3 attachments from Costco 👍🏽. The downside to that now is that the charging station has storage for only 2 attachments lol
I just bought and charged ones, it runs about 5-7 min. I could`t done cleaning. I will give it one more try by second times charging. Let see, if same result it is useless. Battery not enough. let see.
Yes, it is a charging dock. I leave mine on the charger all the time. The manual does say not to put the wandvac on the dock while it is powered on/vacuuming.
I really appreciate the kitty litter demonstration! My last handheld vac (Black & Decker Pivot) was fantastic, but I killed it with drywall dust. Looking for my next one, & the use case will be mostly is for bunny debris (hay, pine pellets, poo, etc). Thanks for the real life demo!! Seems that I'll be good to go :)
I love that you released the stinkbugs .On the other hand, kitty litter on the cutting board? OMG, I'd put some kitty litter in your oatmeal and see if you noticed. doesn't even come close. When your wife goes to trial, I hope I'm on the jury.✌
Yes you can wash it, I've washed it out a dozen times now. It's still kinda dirty after washing though. Aftermarket filters are only $4 a piece thankfully.
Mine keeps shutting off every time I use it and it’s almost like the battery is dead but it isn’t. I fully charged and I don’t know why it’s doing that I made sure the filter and everything is clear and clean and it’s still only vacuums for about a minute and then start shutting off and on and off.
Does it do it with the filter entirely removed? If it does you may have a defective battery. I'd give Shark a call if it's under warranty. If not, I'd exchange it at Costco for a new one.
You must charge it via the cradle there isn't a plug hole on it. As for the height, I have it packed away right now so I cannot say. It doesn't add more than a half inch to the vacuums length though I'd say because it sits on the cradle at an angle.
@@francaispourmoi if you haven't emptied in a while it could be jammed with debris. You may need to use a piece of plastic like an old credit card or gift card to pry it out. A metal flat head screwdriver would work too if that fails, but it may leave marks.
On Amazon i read that this device noise is only about 44 Db...but i now really doubt. It sounds really noisier. Around 75+ . So ...charging is questionable with this device, battery life is too short and it sounds really noisy. I wonder why its highly rated
Just bought this at Costco and watched your video before I use it. My first use and it keeps on turning off every few mins. Did I miss a step? Do I need to charge it first before I use it?
You could try reseating the battery, there is a groove at the tip of the handle where you can insert a flathead and twist and the battery will pop out. Search for wandvac battery replacement on UA-cam for a video of someone popping it out. After that I would check that the AC adapter plug is firmly inserted into the dock. If none of that works I would be returning it to Costco or calling Shark for warranty service since 6 months is a very short life for any vacuum. Good luck.
@@striker1211 Thank you for the reply. It’s not the filter. Is it ok the leave the vacuum on the charger all the time or should I just charge when needed?
It actually works great for a quick cleanup of dried mud in the car so I don't have to haul out the wet dry vac. Just did that the other day. We keep it in the house though. They'd probably make a lot of money selling a car charger mount.
How long does it take to recharge? So it's typically $100 for 10 minutes. 😮 Since we can't buy an extra battery, knowing the recharge time is essential. Ps How well does it do with long human hair?
That is a great question and I am shocked at myself that I did not provide that data in the video. I looked it up and it says it takes about 3 hours to charge and that is right in line with what I remember. I can say that with human hair you would have a possibility of getting the long strands stuck in the gate that keeps the debris from falling back out when the wind is upright but I would definitely buy it and give it a shot. Costco is really nice because you can just return it if it doesn't work out for you but this vacuum is pretty handy.
That's fair. But now it has been five months and I have sucked up mashed potatoes, yogurt, drywall dust, and construction debris (kitchen remodel) and only needed to blow out the filter. If it does stop working I will be sure to update the title and description.
I finished watching the video. I did not know there was a filter to be cleaned. I cleaned the filter and now it works like new! My Costco does not sell these anymore, but if they did, I would say get it! This has been very useful in multiple ways, even with the short run time.
I wish all reviews tried to kill the product like you did here just to see what happens. Super helpful! Thank you.

Bruh kitty litter used to be like one of the biggest vacuum-killers and this man uses it to DEMONSTRATE this vacuum 🤯
Yup, and it still going strong. I have a follow up video 15 months later, still sucks.
@@striker1211good suck or bad suck
Excellent, very helpful review. Thank you very much.
How long does it take to fully charge?
I was wondering how long it needs to charge out of the box. And how long does it take to recharge after use. Thanks
I gave you a thumbs up because you dropped it!
And to everyone. If the filter it's saturated with dust , the machine stops 3 seconds after started. Obviously with even with the battery full.
how to remove the battery?
I just bought the same vacuum from Costco
Question: should I leave the vacuum on charging station all the time?
Yes, it is a charging dock. I leave mine on the charger all the time. The manual does say not to put the wandvac on the dock while it is powered on/vacuuming.
That was a very good review thank you very much :)

Is this good for pet hair, really need something for pet hair in my Semi truck
There's a version for pet hair: Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro - CH950
I am unable to slide open to access filter. How can I get to the filter?
You might be able to use an old credit card or gift card to pry it apart or if you don't care about gouging it a butter knife would work too.
Can you plug it directly into the outlet without it sitting in the cradle? What is its total height sitting in the cradle? Thank you.

Ten mins is crazy

Run time will naturally be shorter under load, sucking things up versus just sitting there "ON"
"it plugs into any wall outlet"... well god fucking damn, congratulations for solving that mystery

Why would you do on gray floor, the same color of the litter
Just 10 mins. for that price even on sale is kinda expensive. I was thinking of getting one for car vacuum.

just use a brush and pan for your kitty litter - much quicker
It’s does not hold much very small compartment for debris
