When I first started learning Korean, I did notice all those similarities with Urdu, and that definitely helped me alot. Another similarity between korean and urdu is 차, tea. Usually we say Chai and not Cha, but in punjabi (a dialect of pakistan) we call tea Cha :) Edit: another similarity is one you already learnt haha. in korean you say 살 to describe someones age and in urdu too we say "saal"

I'm from Bangladesh. My Grandma and my father talk to their friends and relatives in Urdu as they grew up in East Pakistan (currently Bangladesh) but in Bangla with us. So I can speak Urdu but not as much as Hindi. I grew up until now (I'm 12) watching Hindi programmes, cartoons etc but sometimes Urdu cartoons too. I wish I could go to Pakistan...I wanna improve my Urdu vocabulary too...Insha Allah I will go to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia somedday...I actually wanna travel the whole world in the future

as a british pakistani im quite impressed at how fast you are able to learn the urdu language 🇬🇧🇵🇰 there were some words even I didnt know of/wasn't able to pronounce like "hobby", cause I wasn't raised in pakistan 🤔😅 you must have a high iq or maybe ur generally a fast learner 👍👏

You Urdu accent is better than most Americans and British people. I remember when I first noticed the similarities between Korean and my language Urdu, I was so happy and told everyone and it still surprises me now. It shows how the world is really connected, Subhan Allah

I'm from Bangladesh. My Grandma and my father talk to their friends and relatives in Urdu as they grew up in East Pakistan (currently Bangladesh) but in Bangla with us. So I can speak Urdu but not as much as Hindi. I grew up until now (I'm 12) watching Hindi programmes, cartoons etc but sometimes Urdu cartoons too. I wish I could go to Pakistan...I wanna improve my Urdu vocabulary too...Insha Allah I will go to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia somedday...I actually wanna travel the whole world in the future
