Ash had much more potential than Liko because Liko is already a decent character from the beginning. But Ash was a complete idiot. He could have developed from an idiot to a completely mature character even if he were to be a 10 year old forever "IF POKEMON COMPANY ACTUALLY FOCUSED ON HIS STORY AND TRIED TO DEVELOP HIS CHARACTER AND NEVER USED HIM JUST AS A TOOL TO GRAB THE KIDS AUDIENCES AND USED TO COVER OF HIM BEING A 10 YEAR OLD FOR HIS DUMB ACTIONS." Every time Ash developed a little bit they always reset him back. Not even Beyblade did this to their characters. They are the reason he was ruined. Ash could have been a far better protagonist than Liko in my opinion had they have actually tried to change him. Now, what if they tried to actually develop him and evolve the franchise with Ash and do not replace him as the protagonist. Even if they did their best job then also it's too late. Plus, more people would be discomforted to see him change as they had already developed a notion about Ash. The last chance of developing Ash actually ended with Unova literally. In my opinion it ended with Hoenn and Sinnoh region. The only way they can now introduce Ash is by giving him a totally different series which is an Alternate Universe just like the "I choose You" and "Power of Us" but this time they focus on his more unexplored aspects and actually letting him grow as a character even if he will always be a 10 year old and not resetting him everytime he develops. In fact, Pokemon Distant Sky's one single episode had better depth than most of the episodes of the original series. Ash's potential was too much wasted and ruined by Pokemon Company. If they try to introduce him then better not introduce him in Horizons rather give him a one last additional series to actually do justice to him and give him a proper conclusion. That said even if Horizon miserably fails, their chances of introducing Ash would be close to 0 atleast in Horizons.
@@valtaoi4426 bro thats exactly what i am saying horizons is not in a same timeline it is a different universe i personally think if liko and roy can get some character development this series will be better than original pokemon and i think even then its incredible storytelling is enough to make it atleast as good as the original series if people just watch this series by removing ash from their head for atleast 10 episodes they will forget ash automatically but they just don t even watch the first episode i personally like horizons more than original series and yes if they had given ash a better story or just basically developed his character a lot more it would have been pretty fun to watch and when it came to his battle experience in the start of every new series they made him forget whatever he had learned in the past and make us feel like this is his first time going for a league or something the only times we saw ash do some crazy big brain plays was when he was fighting in a battle against a gym leader or in the league against someone and he was starting to lose then only we see him doing something crazy whereas normally in the series we would see him lose to level 5 snivy i think they should have made it so that we felt like yeah this guy has had experience of fighting 8 leagues but it never felt like it and one more thing was that the original series mainly only focused on ash s battles if we were to see hundreds battle in the pokemon anime for example mostly 70 of them would be battled by ash and the other 30 would be battled by other side characters so yeah

Personally for me, liko is better written than Ash because Pokemon Company actually learned from their mistakes of what they did wrong with Ash. There was so much lore and mysteries in the Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos region. They could have used them as a base to develop Ash as a character. They never did it. What they are doing now they could have done it before. But what's done is done. But I still think that he should be at the very least given a proper conclusion. He deserves atleast that. I mean don't introduce him in Horizons rather give him a proper one last additional series to properly end his journey even if it takes place in an Alternate Universe just like "I choose You", etc. I don't want Ash in Horizons (chances of him being there are literally negligible though) but atleast want to give him a better conclusion than that open ending conclusion which wasn't even satisfying.

Each generation atleast got 3 seasons except gen 1 (Kanto region). So, it would at the very least continue for like 2 more years for now. Even if it doesn't get anymore seasons I would think it would be a 200+ episode series at the bare minimum. That's just my prediction. The only way they might introduce Ash currently is literally if they are desperate enough to do that which means the current anime totally flops and it's TRP goes down to the extent that the Company will have to face huge losses for that.

Red was the original protagonist of Pokemon far before Ash was even there. They might not necessarily continue with Ash. They can also discontinue the anime too in that case. Introducing Ash might also not work with audiences who want to see a new protagonist or a fresh new story (most of them belong to Japan or other countries). Even if they try to introduce Ash and do their best job it would take a miraculous effort to actually make him a good enough protagonist that it satisfies these audiences too. So, that's why I said it would be a miracle if Ash would return with a much better character writing in the most spectacular manner we have ever seen in Pokemon. I would think that most people would definitely come back to see him if Pokemon Company succeeds in their miraculous effort to introduce Ash back again in the most spectacular manner ever happened in all of Pokemon literally.

I don't think they will make Ash return in Horizon. In my view, Horizon is most likely either an alternate universe or the same timeline but centuries ahead. So, Ash is either gone or wasn't present in that timeline from the beginning. So, far we didn't even got a glimpse of other characters such as other champions like Cynthia, Leon, Steven, etc. Not even Lance who is the Kanto and Johto Champion. It's most likely a revised version of Pokemon. So, the chances of seeing any previous character is close to 0.
Plus, Horizon is better in terms of storytelling and character arcs. Pokemon Company actually tried to evolve it's franchise with Horizons but the timing of releasing Horizons is just bad. They released it like a month after journeys ended. Of course, most people won't accept a new character that easily especially those who more or less watched Ash from their childhood including me (although I am watching Horizons).
Plus they didn't give Ash a proper conclusion too. Those last 11 episodes felt more like fillers than even the actual filler episodes in the anime. Like seriously, he deserves a proper conclusion at the very least. Giving him an open ending is an insult. He was the face of Pokemon for like 25 years. They even rushed the whole journeys to make him a champion and end the series.
To be fair, they learned from their mistakes and tried to revise Pokemon with Horizons and with more focus on characters and storytelling. Pokemon Company always ruined Ash's character. Ash had much more potential than Liko because Liko is already a decent character from the beginning. But Ash was a complete idiot. He could have developed from an idiot to a completely mature character even if he were to be a 10 year old forever "IF POKEMON COMPANY ACTUALLY FOCUSED ON HIS STORY AND TRIED TO DEVELOP HIS CHARACTER AND NEVER USED HIM JUST AS A TOOL TO GRAB THE KIDS AUDIENCES AND USED TO COVER OF HIM BEING A 10 YEAR OLD FOR HIS DUMB ACTIONS." Every time Ash developed a little bit they always reset him back. Not even Beyblade did this to their characters. They are the reason he was ruined. Ash could have been a far better protagonist than Liko in my opinion had they have actually tried to change him.
Now, what if they tried to actually develop him and evolve the franchise with Ash and do not replace him as the protagonist. Even if they did their best job then also it's too late. Plus, more people would be discomforted to see him change as they had already developed a notion about Ash. The last chance of developing Ash actually ended with Unova literally. In my opinion it ended with Hoenn and Sinnoh region.
The only way they can now introduce Ash is by giving him a totally different series which is an Alternate Universe just like the "I choose You" and "Power of Us" but this time they focus on his more unexplored aspects and actually letting him grow as a character even if he will always be a 10 year old and not resetting him everytime he develops.
In fact, Pokemon Distant Sky's one single episode had better depth than most of the episodes of the original series.
Ash's potential was too much wasted and ruined by Pokemon Company. If they try to introduce him then better not introduce him in Horizons rather give him a one last additional series to actually do justice to him and give him a proper conclusion.
That said even if Horizon miserably fails, their chances of introducing Ash would be close to 0 atleast in Horizons.

And Yeh, you are right they never really focused on the character development of ash and the storyline of anime. The Pokémon company only uses this anime to promote their merchandises and games 😞
@@rjthedestroyer6295 That said I think Horizons would atleast have 3 seasons (almost like 200+ episodes or even more). It's the past trope of Pokemon. Each generation atleast got 3 seasons except gen 1 (Kanto region). So, it would at the very least continue for like 2 more years for now. Even if it doesn't get anymore seasons I would think it would be a 200+ episode series at the bare minimum.
That's just my prediction.
The only way they might introduce Ash currently is literally if they are desperate enough to do that which means the current anime totally flops and it's TRP goes down to the extent that the Company will have to face huge losses for that.
@@rjthedestroyer6295 But even then they have other options too. They can introduce iconic characters like Red and Ethan with new series. Red was the original protagonist of Pokemon far before Ash was even there. They might not necessarily continue with Ash.
They can also discontinue the anime too in that case. But it's highly unlikely as it would only reduce their own revenue in the long run.
Introducing Ash might also not work with audiences who want to see a new protagonist or a fresh new story (most of them belong to Japan or other countries). Even if they try to introduce Ash and do their best job it would take a miraculous effort to actually make him a good enough protagonist that it satisfies these audiences too.
So, that's why I said it would be a miracle if Ash would return with a much better character writing in the most spectacular manner we have ever seen in Pokemon. I would think that most people would definitely come back to see him if Pokemon Company succeeds in their miraculous effort to introduce Ash back again in the most spectacular manner ever happened in all of Pokemon literally.
