It warms my Swedish heart to see a Morakniv properly maintained AND used. It almost makes up for us inventing the IKEA debacle....almost. Great build. And im sooo envious of your workshop. Love the ambience that it sends across the interwebs. Much love there mate. Keep it up!
I'm like Mr. Zoffinger !!Just being a witness as to the actual inspiration of one of the world's best lures being made is simply gratifying....Thank you for making my day...
Absolutely love these videos. The creativity and editing you put into the shots really make these videos stand out from other channels. Not to mention the amazing work you do to create these lures.
+Paul Adams (The Handmade Fisherman) I would like mine plane if I got one because i Like to be creative with my work. contact me at rafaelnunez121102@gmail.com PS.Keep up the good work
Topwater classic white body with bright red up front! Having made a couple wood lures from scratch, I understand how much work you put in your passion. And your filming and editing are superb! Thanks Paul!
I'm glad you specified the broom comment at the start! I think I'll fish/video some more Stick Baits soon, great surface action and strikes. Great build.
Probably late to the party but just recently started making my own pike/Muskie lures. These videos are not only informative but just damn relaxing to watch.
Just finished my first spook along with an Atom Striper Swiper. My first two ever. I fish mostly for striped bass in southern Maine, and freshwater along the Saco River. Won't be able to try them for a couple of months. My first of your videos, liked and subscribed. Will definitely watch more. Thanks
Topwater, I really like the pattern that you made in the video but I like a perch pattern as well if you want a challenge! lol. love the channel. I enjoy watching you make these by hand instead of all the power tools. they are truly one of a kind
Nice work mate, i would like to see a video about your dads workshop and the tools you using, i found fascinating the fact that you are using mostly the classic method and hand tools. Great work mate good luck with your channel
I suppose I do not make lures for a living so i can experiment with less industrial methods and my father has some really bonkers tools that date from well before i was born so I may do a video about that subject as a lot of them today have been replace by battery tools
Topwater: bass or bluegillAnd Cani just say your channel has been the only lure making channel that I thoroughly enjoy. I would donate to you it I had the money and a job but I'm just in high school. Keep up the great work!
Topwater English perch / Redfin ..... Hi Paul, very nice job, such an amazing finish on the lure, I've made a couple poppers out of random bits of branches but they don't look like your one, no way!! I just went today to see if I could find the Aussie version of the American super spook, no luck whatsoever....... They don't sell them or anything similar here in Australia, whaaaaat? And here you are just making one from scratch, amazing work!
I do spend a bit of time in tackle shops, mainly talking nonsense but often over here the lure selections are not great but it is getting better but i know i would not be able to by a spook type lure at my two local tackle shops
Don't send it to me. I'd never have the heart to use it. An original Paul Adams lure would be a prised possession not to be wasted and broke off by some callous fish ;^)
zoffinger wow can't believe you are here I love your videos and would love to know what kayak I should get I am new and need something for inshore salt or flat water lakes and ponds any suggestions
Topwater: Minnow Love your videos Paul. Watching them got me into tempting my fate making wooden lures. Unfortunately haven't been having much luck outside of 3 out of the 14 I have made even swimming right. Keep up the great work.
I once spent a huge amount of time making my first balsa minnow and finally got it to some water, on the cast the lightest of breezes sent it way off target i mean no where near where i was aiming and it did not swim in any way i have seen a lure swim it rolled limply across the surface without the diving lip having any effect. I still have that lure to remind me but it sits in box not on its own but with quite a few other failures that I have made along the way. Good luck
your videos are pure quality Paul I'd enter the competition but I'm only just getting into lure fishing so wouldn't really know what to ask for. I'm just happy watching and being inspired all the best
Topwater, baby bass or bluegill pattern would be great! I was able to make a few lures in my STEM engineering class last year in high school and I watched a ton of your videos for the ideas. Thanks for all the great vids, and happy fishing!
I am glad they came in some use, i did do a few months of an engineering apprenticeship when i left school but back then everything was very separate so machinists machined, draughtsmen drew and designers designed these days with new technologies it is looking a bit joined up which can only be a good thing
topwater, bullfrog.... awesome videos I started making my own crankbaits using your design as a guide with a few modifications... thanks for all the tips
Topwater same one as the vid! Looks similar to a baby bass pattern. The bass would tear that up here in the southeast states, nice action! I would use it for sure but with great care and caution haha
topwater, baby bass I love the videos, the best thing I've ever done as far as woodwork is put together a little birdhouse, so this is always very cool to see
hey Paul firstly thanks for all of this cool videos you make .. as you working through suggestions i was thinking about making some kind of saltwater shore fishing lure or sth like that .. all the best !!
Topwater, your choice! I have sold/ gave away all my fishing gear when I made a 3k mile move recently. It's time to start building a small collection back up. I think this would make a great addition. Thank you.
topwater, bluegill awesome videos! have always tried to make my own lures but never seemed to get them right. your videos help,a lot! keep up the good work
topwater, Lizzard. always good to watch your vids, inspires me to get in the studio and do some painting. keep up the good work. all the best from 'downunda'.
Topwater, whitish grey belly fade to bluish green, dark spot near head, dark green on top. Thin fluorescent chartreuse stripe on the side. Really liked the scale pattern you did on the bass looking spook in this video.
Bom dia. Eu sou fã do seu trabalho e suas técnicas de confecção de iscas e materiais para pesca são muito úteis. gosto muito dos seus vídeos. Parabéns.
Topwater! Love your videos. would love a blue and silver one to mimic the ballyhoo bait fish we have in the Caribbean. I live in Barbados, that's a huge toss across the pond but it is what it is. in any case. Be well and keep making these inspiring videos. Cheers!
Hi Paul! You have made some of the greatest videos of how to make the most popular fishing lures for pikes! Not only that, but you tend to use hand tools that we all have or can very easily get in any part of the world. The Zara Spook is one of my favorite lures, and not only for pike fishing. I use slightly suspended one wich sinks a bit, but with my rod lifted up and a bit faster retrive i can use her for topwater fishing... Could you make one of these out of a broom handle, and put the right weights on the right places, so it's balanced correctly Paul?
you make it look so easy. I know there is lots of practice and failures behind this. I am a person who loves bluegill/panfish. Those lures are way too big for that. LOL
Topwater: Paul I want one please! :D Great Idea would be to paint a pearl white base and on the top of that a skeleton of a fish. Maybe some angry fish :) Like the editing. And you even managed to put a shorts on :D Looks like you have a bit of summer this year ;-) Cheers
topwater, juvenile pike or brown trout G'day paul another awesome video as always love the humble hand carved stick bait one of my favourite lures to make and fish.
Topwater: It is great that you are performing a giveaway, it if there is a chance of me winning, I would be interested in the classic pearl, possibly with red eyes. Perhaps a bit smaller if possible, so I can also chase some bass with it. Thanks Paul!
top water shad color. keep it up Paul, I want to start doing this too, but it seems pretty hard saying if you don't have some tool available. Keep the vids coming!
Topwater: Baby trout or sexy shad I love your videos man! You have a special way of making these videos that not many other youtubers have. Keep up the great work!
Excellent lure, Paul...and much closer to the original Spook, being made of wood! As you say, surface fishing can be hit or miss - I've been trying topwater on the local canal for the last couple of weeks with no success. I blame the weather...can't be my meagre angling skills...!
I have had some great top water days, but when i think back generally it comes from fishing into darkness in very late summer and without 28deg c. I think adding a rattle would of helped but we live we learn. I did walk to the canal for this video but it looked like liquid mud.
Ah, that's interesting. Canal I fish (Rufford Arm, not far from you) is really clear at the moment which I thought would be ideal for topwater tactics, but so far only 4" perch following. Don't know why the pike are sulking!
Paul , ...do not give up upon this simple "mother-of-all-stickbaits" , they definately have an appeal for pike(smaller sizes for big perch) , my own experiences do not lie ! Conditions as shown were perfect , surely only that little bit of luck went missing ! For my own taste your lure dug in a little bit too deep , experienced such before using pinewood , ....I'd either turn down abachewood boards or use a broomstick of a more buoyant certain tropical timber(don't know it's name) , at least if I can find them , ...seems , that they have quit import nowadays . But there are a few "Spook" dynamics , that can be altered to achieve subtle differences in action , ...I had already mentioned the buoyancy of the basic timber material , second would be ballast placement . Naturally the ballast is essential to be placed somewhere into the rear third of the cigar-shaped body , never further forward . The more the ballast sits towards the tail end , the narrower the width of the glide path would get , the more of an "X"-pattern(viewed from above) the lure would perform , .....just like your lure does . With the ballast placed more forward towards the 1/3 body length limit , the lure would not "X" as pronounced anymore , but perform longer glides at smaller angles in relation of the direction of line pull . Another thing to be altered is the location of the tow eye , .....placed directly at the nose tip , a heavier weighted "Spook" would get the tendency to dive below the surface for a few centimetres , yet still causing a wake on the surface , ........might be of advantage on certain days , when pike are reluctant to take pure surface swimmers . With your lure you have dissabled that option by carving that little slant to the chin , which pushes the lure upward again , without that slant you lure might have run estimated one or two centimetres deeper . If you want your "Spook" to ride higher on the surface without the possibility of submerging , use more buoyant material and place the tow eye on it's chin , somewhere below the nose tip , ......with your lure shown , I would say , that the level of the center of that little slant would be the most rearward possibility of tow eye placement(just as a reference , naturally without furnishing a slant). BTW , ...such a slant on the chin keeps you lure riding high as well , but yet offers a subtle resistance as well to slighly hinder the gliding performance . Off course one could paint his "Spooks" in all fancy colors , but I've once read a statement by a veteran US musky angler , that I've found much sense in , .......refering to a quote from Henry Ford regarding his first mass-produced car , the Ford Model T , ......"any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black ". Black topwater lures cast the best silhouette to a predator lurking from below , may it be in sunshine or in moonlight , on overcast days or during pitch black nights , .......so I have painted quite a few of my own surface lures in black , probably with a little dash of orange or bright yellow on their heads , just to be able to locate them better swimming on the surface far away . Maybe natural minnow colors and eye-pinching colors like "firetiger" , together with black , these three color schemes are all , what it takes for a surface lure , at least colorwise . It's better to carry a little variety of three to five spooks along , all sporting subtle difference in difference in action and performance , .......it's more likely , that one of these would be a winner on a given day ! A very nice clip again , Paul , .....cheers , Dieter
I purposely never made any kind of drawing for this lure or used any measuring tools or even testing the weighting or it position because I wanted just to enjoy the freedom of creating a basic lure without having to go back test retry, so there was a good chance that it would not have the greatest performance, i missed a least two fish an either one of them could of made it into more successful day , but i will be back top water fishing
There is not really a need for any sketching or exact measurements for such "Spooks" , I'd just keep them roughly cigar-shaped with a relation of diameter:length about 1:6 to 1:8 , .......the shorter ones would "X" better and the longer ones would glide a longer path , ...should have added this to the dynamics described in my first comment . Any version of a "Spook" would surely score on it's day , as the temper of the pike changes frequently . But in my opinion fairly quiet waters are essential to use "Spooks" , as with an increased chop on the water other topwater lures creating more noise and commotion(like poppers or propbaits)would be of advantage ,..........most likely I put my trust on lures , that can be made to pop , splash or walk on the surface , but same time can also be submerged to have an underwater wobbling action at 30cms to 60cms depth just by rod tip manipulation and speed of retrieve. Often these prove to be a better bet compared to pure topwater lures , .......but amongst pure topwater lures , "Spooks" have proven superiority over poppers and propbaits for me , but also can't beat previously mentioned "skim-and-swim" type of lures , .......just my own experiences, off course . Greetings , Dieter
Topwater. Would really love a ducklingcoloured( brown/Yellow-ish😜). I really like your vids👍 BTW the rest of the broomstick could make a fine classical crankbait or even a jointed swimbait eely style👍🎣
Dude, I have no idea how u keep on pumping out so may great videos to watch, it must take a long time to make the lure let alone all of the video recording and video editing. I'm having a go of making my own video on how i make mine but it is a slow and tedious job. keep up the good work, you will probably have 10 more out before i get mine on you tube
It is getting a little faster for me mainly i think because i am getting used to the software and equipment, but you are right it can be a bloody tedious job, for this video I sat down and spent about six hours solidly editing it together. So by the time it is out I cannot watch it anymore, it takes a few days before I can forget and come back to it with some fresh eyes, then it almost feels like someone else made it. It does help if you can convince your wife to do some of the filming. Good luck with it I am off to check out your channel
Topwater, any pattern you think my wife would like. I've been subscribed for awhile now, and even shared a few of your videos with my wife (who is new to fishing, but won't let me go without her now). You've inspired my current hobby of making lures, and given my wife interest in fishing she had never expected to have. I never win at these things, but my wife would be thrilled if it ever happened.
I never win these things either but it was great hear you story, my wife only comes fishing if i am going past ikea and then she does not fish she just asks me when i am going to IKEA
Hello Paul As usual, this was a great video again... PAul, I have noticed that in your last videos you were using wrapped wire instead eyescrews for your lures. Do they have similar resistance to fish strikes?? I was thinking that even though with both you can use glue before to set the screw or wire, at the end the screw could be more reliable. Would you please give me some feedback? Thanks a lot and warm greetings from Peru....
Great video Paul! It appeared that you put only one weighting spot around the back third of the lure, is that correct? Also, what was the material you melted into the hole? Plain solder or some kind of lead wire? Excellent action on the lure too - great job!
Topwater Gold Gill, my absolute favourite down here in Australia. I don't know if you have seen Gong Lei's UA-cam channel but if I win I would happily donate my lure to him. He is an unbelievably good topwater fisherman!
Top water stripe Marlin or Marlin in general Plus I want to start making my own lure out of wood plastic but I don't know where to start what like for example what's tools buy
topwater, random pattern (choose what you want) ;) just one word : always so impressed by the work quality - thanks for your vidéos - congratulations !!
It warms my Swedish heart to see a Morakniv properly maintained AND used. It almost makes up for us inventing the IKEA debacle....almost.
Great build. And im sooo envious of your workshop. Love the ambience that it sends across the interwebs. Much love there mate.
Keep it up!
after carving mostly with craft knives using one of these is like going for a walk in the park, thanks for the kind words
Cheers, my wife did most of the filming for this video and she always brings a different angle so thanks

I worked with my wife for this one so we also put in a bit of arguing as well, thanks
I'm glad you specified the broom comment at the start!
I think I'll fish/video some more Stick Baits soon, great surface action and strikes. Great build.
Cant wait to see it in your next episode @Andy`s Fishing .. idol :D
AlektorSB
I'm trying some new filming techniques, but the fish are playing hard to get.
It will great to see you throwing some stick baits
*****
I'm planing an over night trip with some big GT action, now for the weather to come good!
You are a true artist. Even the video is artistic and expertly done. Just flat out gorgeous.
Topwater mullet. I bet this thing would be killer in saltwater! Awesome work man!
Probably late to the party but just recently started making my own pike/Muskie lures. These videos are not only informative but just damn relaxing to watch.
your videos are very helpful in making topwater baits from things found around the house. thanks for your videos and keep making them.
maybe i should get out more, thanks
Just finished my first spook along with an Atom Striper Swiper. My first two ever. I fish mostly for striped bass in southern Maine, and freshwater along the Saco River. Won't be able to try them for a couple of months. My first of your videos, liked and subscribed. Will definitely watch more. Thanks
Topwater, blue on the top fading to white at the bottom with silver dots on the blue.
Thanks Paul for some awesome videos!
Topwater, I really like the pattern that you made in the video but I like a perch pattern as well if you want a challenge! lol. love the channel. I enjoy watching you make these by hand instead of all the power tools. they are truly one of a kind
Sometimes i look at the lathe like an old girlfriend an realise we have become strangers, cheers
that's a nice lure, "walks the walk" great beautiful finish
Nice work mate, i would like to see a video about your dads workshop and the tools you using, i found fascinating the fact that you are using mostly the classic method and hand tools. Great work mate good luck with your channel
I suppose I do not make lures for a living so i can experiment with less industrial methods and my father has some really bonkers tools that date from well before i was born so I may do a video about that subject as a lot of them today have been replace by battery tools
Awesome Paul looking forward to it. Thanx
Topwater: bass or bluegillAnd Cani just say your channel has been the only lure making channel that I thoroughly enjoy. I would donate to you it I had the money and a job but I'm just in high school. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the big compliment
You welcome:)
Also I'm not trying to get brownie points
This video inspired me on how to to make simple wooden lures, so now I am starting to make a channel like yours.
wow your channel is great . I love wood working and lure making is something ive been thinking of getting into ,your videos are inspirational.
It would have to be a Tiki head I am guessing
So true
zoffinger wow can't believe you are here I love your videos and would love to know what kayak I should get I am new and need something for inshore salt or flat water lakes and ponds any suggestions
The production of these videos are well thought out. Good job mate! I'm enjoying.
Topwater, Dotted redhead. With this pattern I caught the most pike. I would love to see you make this. Great video as always.
Topwater, fire perch. I love your videos, i try to replicate everything you make in a more dull and "ugly" fashion. Keep up the great work Paul.
you have not seen my junk pile
I'll bet I have some pretty close.
Topwater, perch
I love the quality of your videos. You definitely deserve some more attention!
Thanks
Topwater: Minnow

Topwater, baby bass or bluegill pattern would be great! I was able to make a few lures in my STEM engineering class last year in high school and I watched a ton of your videos for the ideas. Thanks for all the great vids, and happy fishing!
I am glad they came in some use, i did do a few months of an engineering apprenticeship when i left school but back then everything was very separate so machinists machined, draughtsmen drew and designers designed these days with new technologies it is looking a bit joined up which can only be a good thing
topwater, bullfrog.... awesome videos I started making my own crankbaits using your design as a guide with a few modifications... thanks for all the tips
that is the best compliment ever using the drawings as a guide to creating your very own designed lures
Topwater, perch! Real nice vid! Always gets me so calm after a busy day.
thanks, I am still thinking of moving into sleep therapy if the lure thing does not work out
Topwater, red devil
Love the videos! Always cool seeing how to do your own things at home!
Topwater bluegill, I love the videos and I can tell that you put plenty of effort and time into them, keep up the good work!
thank you very much for giving us these interesting tips .
It is like seeing a great artist with his work, again thanks
Topwater same one as the vid! Looks similar to a baby bass pattern. The bass would tear that up here in the southeast states, nice action! I would use it for sure but with great care and caution haha
Topwater, Tennessee shad; again another great video with awesome editing, well done Paul
thank you, i think wore out the office chair editing this one
Topwater, white and red body with faint pattern of your choice! Thanks for the awesome videos, can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Brilliant they are so cool I will keep and eye out, and loved the video keep up all the hard work
topwater, baby bass
I love the videos, the best thing I've ever done as far as woodwork is put together a little birdhouse, so this is always very cool to see
I still think there is something magic about working with wood it often feels like stepping back into another time
hey Paul firstly thanks for all of this cool videos you make .. as you working through suggestions i was thinking about making some kind of saltwater shore fishing lure or sth like that .. all the best !!
topwater, baby bass.
love the videos. it makes me happy to see you keep making them.
thankyou
when will you pick the winner.
Saturday
Thanks for sharing your talent. It is inspiring and has me trying my hand. As for a pattern, I seem to have luck with brighter colours
Topwater, your choice!
I have sold/ gave away all my fishing gear when I made a 3k mile move recently. It's time to start building a small collection back up. I think this would make a great addition.
Thank you.
good luck
topwater, bluegill
awesome videos! have always tried to make my own lures but never seemed to get them right. your videos help,a lot! keep up the good work
I have the same problem, thanks
topwater, Lizzard. always good to watch your vids, inspires me to get in the studio and do some painting. keep up the good work. all the best from 'downunda'.
cheers
Topwater splatter print shad. I would probably never use it because I idolize what you do and I would keep that lure forever.
excellent video mate, you've inspired me to have a go at making a lure
Topwater, whitish grey belly fade to bluish green, dark spot near head, dark green on top. Thin fluorescent chartreuse stripe on the side. Really liked the scale pattern you did on the bass looking spook in this video.
Bom dia. Eu sou fã do seu trabalho e suas técnicas de confecção de iscas e materiais para pesca são muito úteis. gosto muito dos seus vídeos. Parabéns.
Topwater, bone color. Also your videos inspired me to make my own and I included a rattle and im finally on the last few epoxy coats. Thanks!
yes i keep meaning to add the rattle but i always want to get finished quickly
Topwater! Love your videos. would love a blue and silver one to mimic the ballyhoo bait fish we have in the Caribbean. I live in Barbados, that's a huge toss across the pond but it is what it is. in any case. Be well and keep making these inspiring videos. Cheers!
Thankyou
Hi Paul!
You have made some of the greatest videos of how to make the most popular fishing lures for pikes!
Not only that, but you tend to use hand tools that we all have or can very easily get in any part of the world.
The Zara Spook is one of my favorite lures, and not only for pike fishing. I use slightly suspended one wich sinks a bit, but with my rod lifted up and a bit faster retrive i can use her for topwater fishing...

you make it look so easy. I know there is lots of practice and failures behind this. I am a person who loves bluegill/panfish. Those lures are way too big for that. LOL
topwater, black with red eyes
really great work! I would like to use it in the sea with bluefish, or in fw with big asps :)
It's amazing how you shaped that by hand cool video
It a funny thing with wood sometimes you get the feeling when your carving that it just wants to be a certain shape, kind of hard to explain
You are not a fisherman you are an artist . nice to have talent
That is a great looking pattern, Paul!
topwater silver mullet padron
I really love it when you try out your lures after making theme.
keep with the videos.
Topwater fishing is my fav! On my rez along the st lawrence that broom handle would be perfect, and id love to see you make a nice perch
thanks
You did a great job on the pattern and design
Topwater, pike! Very very nice work dude! Cheers
Topwater: Paul I want one please! :D Great Idea would be to paint a pearl white base and on the top of that a skeleton of a fish. Maybe some angry fish :)
Like the editing. And you even managed to put a shorts on :D Looks like you have a bit of summer this year ;-)
Cheers
let's just say the shorts were a little tighter fitting this year
Ha!🙃
topwater, juvenile pike or brown trout
G'day paul another awesome video as always love the humble hand carved stick bait one of my favourite lures to make and fish.
I started lure making carving sticks and often i forget that and get lost in resins and chemicals and fun seems to go down not up, thanks
Topwater, bluegill. Beautiful work as always.
Topwater, european perch. Nice video and nice lure as always, your creativity matche in its class.
Greetz form germany.
Danke, that is the only German I kow apart from some swear words
topwater, rainbow trout. love your videos and lures! amazing!
Topwater: It is great that you are performing a giveaway, it if there is a chance of me winning, I would be interested in the classic pearl, possibly with red eyes. Perhaps a bit smaller if possible, so I can also chase some bass with it. Thanks Paul!
top water
shad color.
keep it up Paul, I want to start doing this too, but it seems pretty hard saying if you don't have some tool available. Keep the vids coming!
I think there are always alternatives,
Topwater: Baby trout or sexy shad
I love your videos man! You have a special way of making these videos that not many other youtubers have. Keep up the great work!
thanks

I never fished it, i was thiking of paddling up the leeds liverpool in my canoe and then heading up the Rufford to the Ribble and Lancaster canal
My local water for 30 years...hardest water I ever fished, but satisfying when you tempt a decent kipper! I'll look out for you in your canoe.

Paul, love this video so much could you please tell me more in depth how you made this lure I would love to make some myself ?
If you go back to previous video for surreal eel it explains the carving a lot better
Topwater. Hey Paul, nice Video once again. I really enjoyed it!
thanks
Topwater. Would really love a ducklingcoloured( brown/Yellow-ish😜). I really like your vids👍
BTW the rest of the broomstick could make a fine classical crankbait or even a jointed swimbait eely style👍🎣
I still have a lot of broom pole to work with so expect some more videos thanks
topwater, red head + white body. I have to say your videos are aazing. I really like watching them :) It would be an honor to have a lure made by you

Topwater, bluegill. Excellent video and lure as always.
Topwater.. Same color as one you made grate job.
Top water Usual work of art .thanks Paul Steve
thanks
*****
Hahahah, shoulda married a hot Asian!
Top water bluiguil. I love watching you make lures and I'd love to try to make some
I am sure you can find a broom pole to shorten and post me a picture when you done, thanks
Hello Paul
As usual, this was a great video again...
I think they are both far above what is required, I have never had either of them fail so the only way for me to find out would be to test them.
Thank you Paul....
Topwater, classic white body and red head :-) btw, nice vids - keep them coming ;-)
topwater, like the rapala balsa wood minnow. your lures are just amazing!
I just wish they would catch more fish
+Paul Adams (The Handmade Fisherman) maybe you can once try to make a lure with 3 or 4 parts?
Topwater Roach.
Would be honoured to receive one of your lures Paul.
Love the channel and have made a few things inspired by you.
Thanks, i am glad it has sparked some ideas
Topwater, Bleeding Bluegill
love the videos. They are a real inspiration!
Great video Paul! It appeared that you put only one weighting spot around the back third of the lure, is that correct? Also, what was the material you melted into the hole? Plain solder or some kind of lead wire? Excellent action on the lure too - great job!
yes that is right, i used some plumbing solder left over from a job
How did you add the lead? What did you buy to be able to melt a rod like that with a torch
Topwater, shad
Great video man I love all the videos you make!
Topwater, Jitterbug.
These are a favorite here in the Southern United States.
Topwater Gold Gill, my absolute favourite down here in Australia. I don't know if you have seen Gong Lei's UA-cam channel but if I win I would happily donate my lure to him. He is an unbelievably good topwater fisherman!
Off to check him out thanks
