Cooking Hibachi On The Jobsite
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 жов 2024
- We hired a Hibachi chef to come out to the jobsite and cook lunch- He was like, “where’s your grill?”
I just pointed and said “right here” - we’re going to use the skid steer bucket.
I set it up on some blocks and put a propane torch underneath for heat.
This guy was so fast it was awesome to watch- I should hire him to frame my next house- it’s be done in like a day and a half.
He started out by frying eggs for the rice- it got seasoned with salt, pepper, and plenty of soy sauce.
With all the stuff he brought he actually forgot a knife- so I gave him my Milwaukee fastback, and it worked pretty good.
Next he threw on some scallops and shrimp. I was impressed with how many different types of food he was cooking at one time.
We could tell this wasn’t his first day on the job.
The food was amazing, we ate it right off the grill.
My favorite had to be the lobster- with tons of butter.
Finally, he grilled up some sirloin steak.
This was so much fun we would definitely do it again.
Everyone got more than enough food- especially the new guy. Although, he did embarrass me- he kept growling for more and more steak.
Let us know in the comments, what should we cook on the jobsite next? @hausplans

With that surface, I'd "forget"my knife, too. Man made a calculated decision
You can really sharpen up a good knife no problem, japanese style knives are generally sharper and thinner and sharpen up very quickly, and german style knives aren't as sharp and thicker, so they don't dull as quick. They probably resharpen quite often. But I figured he didn't forget the knife but they gave him the razor too be part of the whole video.
@@jeffsorrowsthis is blatantly false Japanese steel knifes tend to be way thicker and heavier.not only that but a thinner smaller knife has a bigger chance of getting severely damaged or bent.
