The weight is actually supposed to be about the same though--the old one they said was 4.9lb, the new one they say is 5.1lb--that's just according to the published specs. Also the runtime rating somewhere around 10-15% shorter at full power.

@jlynchtx The new one, I believe is quieter, which surprised me because it does have more power.
