Great video, I like how you explained the various ports because they do make a difference. Additionally, the sequence that you presented is also important to avoid handshake issues between the devices. I have a yamaha tsr-7850r and sony 4k projector and the audio receiver would not work with the chromecast ultra. It would momentarily show a picture and then go blank. The chromecast ultra would work if directly plugged into the projector but that isn't ideal since the projector doesn't have sound. Any suggestions?
Fantastic, do you have a video if you have the Amazon Cube? I can’t seem to stream anything and use the full capability of my AVR, all I can listen is in stereo, no multichannel or anything so I’m missing in my complete experience. Thanks
I have the chromecast gen 3 and yamaha receiver but I get just a black screen and no sound. the receiver get the chromecast name on the display but it stops there... any suggestions??
my avr surround receiver does not have hdmi - only ac3 input. does chromecast deliver ac3 to the tv from where i could send it to the avr via optical cable?
When buying a budget avr what avr spec do I need especially for stadia 4k 60 fps .hope you can help.Edited:(multiple hdmi with a least one arc socket?) Should I buy a 4k hdmi cable for arc socket.i do have 4k tv with arc hdmi socket.
