What a pile of junk rog haven’t got a clue on what to do with them Plus thay have a lot of issues that nr are not happy with them. Most new locos are in service within a few weeks of landing in the uk
I enjoyed the close-up shots. Good to see some of the small details. I don't know if the Rail Operations Group have any contracts lined up for them, but being tri-mode perhaps TfW could use them on their rakes of Mk. 4 coaches instead of the unreliable 67s? I must admit, though, that it upsets me to see the destruction of our own once successful loco building industry due to government dogma.
Me and my bro was on about this tonight whilst out train spotting saying one day we going to loose all the 66s and 67s and I will sure miss the engine sound.
Got a bit of power there I'm thinking🤔 Sounds OK and looks good in green and pleasing to the eye - unlike certain others I won't mention. Great detail shots, thanks👍
Nice one 👍❤ That engine is really loud. Didn't expect it to be that loud. From the video sounds louder than a 66 or 68. Nice to see it on its first proper test run
This looks like just using it for rescue and stock movement don’t think it will be powerful enough for heavy duty freight hauling, nice hybrid though thanks for sharing 👍
I saw this loco morning before my trip to Chesterfield on a shot Class 37 locomotives from LSL towing 3x class 37s running to Barrow Hill LIP. :) I already subscribed you. :)
You know.......we used to build EVERYTHING........what the hell happened to us!?!?!?
86 tons, so light
I was hoping it maybe for freight but it's just for stock passenger movements I think
finally it moves under its own power
Nice one.
Well done on catching this new loco.
Cant say I’m fussed on the looks but at least it’s not as ugly as a 70!

Road sweeper
The 93001 looks nice, are these eventually going to replace the Class 66 or was that just rumours I heard?
I don't think there heavy enough for freight work but I could be wrong.
Sounds like a cheap vacuum cleaner.... Nice video though bud.
I wish it sounded like a 68
Great video - lots of details captured also. Love seeing new stock coming onto the railway :)
Thank you
Give it a try with oils
Meanwhile (l think)there are/were perfectly good class 60,s rotting at Toton yard. I don't understand it?
I don’t either. The 60 is Brutus on the rails.
Sounds awful 🤮
Where exactly are ROG planning on operating these things?
I think to replace the 67s on thunderbird duties. Moving stock around and broken down locos. That's just a rumour
This being tri mode i guess in this clip it was under battery power?
That was the engine
For a new modern loco not bad looking...nice livery change for R O G. Good video. 👍
Great video of 93001 .. just missing an R from Sheffield pet

Is this the first time we've seen the 93's move under their own power?
Got a bit of power there I'm thinking🤔 Sounds OK and looks good in green and pleasing to the eye - unlike certain others I won't mention. Great detail shots, thanks👍
I think on battery and engine it's gutless but on 25k it's 7000hp
Nice one 👍❤ That engine is really loud. Didn't expect it to be that loud. From the video sounds louder than a 66 or 68. Nice to see it on its first proper test run
I think being enclosed in Sheffield might add to the noise like York and the 68s
does it have a spin cycle? lol
Not the best sounding is it
Brilliant Mate. You did a real good upclose feature there. Love it
Glad you enjoyed it
Warum stottert der Film denn so?
I have no idea.
Go close ups ...
Been wearing track out today that unit. 👍
Would be great if this were to be the mystery loco for the NNR Rails and ales gala 😂

I think your right. Someone said and I don't how true it is it's to replace the 67s on thunderbird duties
Sounds like a household vacuum cleaner !
I was not impressed with the sound. Can't even hear the twin turbos but I haven't seen it under load yet.
Thanks for the video, the 93 sounds terrible!
Nice loco
I think the livery is quite nice too
Nice, I've never seen it run under it's own power before!
Any nicknames for it yet?
Might I suggest leafblower as it sounds just like one
I was expecting something like a 68 or 70 but sounds like a track tamper. It's twin turbo too so no idea why you cannot hear them
Nice to see 93001 out and about.. I First filmed it in January, haven't seen it since! 👍🏻
Hopefully you will be able to get more footage as I think shortly it will be out working

Thank you
i hear that tfw are looking to replance there claszx 67s wiith new class 93 ?
👍
Passenger service? Errr, no!
Sounds like a Class 231.
Also, at least it has a normal horn unlike the Stadler FLIRT class 😂
👍
Так что это тепловоз или электровоз? Но вообще смотрится очень красиво. 😊
It's Tri Model. Diesel. Battery and 25k electric
Shefield no Sheffield yes
wow a class 93 exists 😱
It's been a long time waiting for it
saw it in Worksop station where it went back and into harry Needle
👍

That middle rung on the footsteps is going to trap a few boots and cause accidents. Far too close to the bogie frame and insufficient clearance. .
Nice catch. Interesting loco there.
Thank you 👍
Cool video. Have subscribed. 😀
Thank you
Superb, can't wait to see one of those.
👍
Nice views of the loco. Good video!
👍
Nice to see , sounds like a Dyson
I was hoping for something like a 68 sound. Sounds like a track tamper
What a great catch - well done !
Glad you enjoyed it
OMG
It does work.
👍
Where are the other 9?
I have no idea
👍👍
❤❤
Great catch
Thank you
FINALLY! Took 'em long enough! Can't wait to see this in service with Grand Union in a few years' time...
I like it.
Nice train 👍👍👍👍😎
Thank you very much!
Great footage
Thank you kindly
