*5 things to quit for all people:* *1. Caring about what others think* *2. Not believing in yourself* *3. Not prioritizing your health* *4. Wasting your precious time* *5. Chasing meaningless relationships*
The dream team. A visionary leader has not to do all the work himself; it all starts with surrounding himself/herself with a few people (or just 1) who get his/her vision. That person/Those people will help and see other perfectly matching people :-) Those people will see potential in others. And the company will end up with a fine equilibrium among operators and visionaries, followers and leaders, executives and risk takers, introverts/extroverts…
That's a good point. Often those with a strong vision become gung-ho and develop tunnel vision, thinking they can do everything by themselves or putting the pressure on themselves exclusively to articulate that vision. Having a small group in the early stages is helpful.
Phenomenal person reading this, surround yourself with people who are better and wealthier! Keeps you humble, teachable, and hungry. You become those with whom you surround yourself with! Birds of a feather flock together! You got this! 🌟 I believe in you! Love - Nat ❤️
Simon. Love this and also your talk about how hypergrowth is really no good. So do you ever have any examples about how a visionary can be scared of exactly getting trapped in these hypergrowth demands? When being a small company with a clear focus on our golden circle, what we find hard to dance in is.... investors thinking hypergrowth is the answer to long term value. If we stick to being too operational we become an operational hard to grow business. If we are full on visionary we need a huge investment. We need to find a balance set and matching economical partners. Why do ai hear so little about this? Why is it ALL about hypergrowth or organic operational too slow almost not possible growth. Who does neither or??? Are we alone???
I hope your ideas on how managers and bosses are to care for those in their charge, I hope people listen and ideas like these spread or are regulated or enforced.
One way a visionary can assess another could be an informal meeting. Pull them in to the office and ask these questions, You're testing them. If you were made CEO today, What would your long term plan be ? What would you change and how ? How do you think this could improve the company going forward ? Based on these answers is as to weather they would get to take over.
I have a great question for you, where do you sit n think about these BiG fundamental problems? Just to let you know why I am asking you this question is because I am an entrepreneur in Pakistan, I'm 34 single n still live alone and solving fundamental problems of Christian community. Your answer would help me in different ways. Thank you
CEO”S need to communicate with their team m muerde continually to transmite their ideas clearly and to be sure they are on the same page … Lead by example…
I dont think it's that simple. Often times good people aren't particularly receptive to the standards one may be leading by. Doing it well isn't necessarily equal to doing it well & saying it well.
Strategic systems thinking as a response to external problems observed versus tactical implementation of an intention relative to a solution designed to meet or address the chosen problem.
Take a step back. There is the Exodus paradigm. We are moving into a holy space/land. Things are going to go well and we are going to "get" all the rewards and accolades that are our "due". So, imagine you are in a space where you can generate as much wealth as you want, create as many "dividends" or "harvests" as you want, have "enough" for whatever tickles your fancy or imagination. You have lucked into the ideal space/world/land where you can literally have whatever you want, however you want, whenever or wherever you want. So what now? How do you live peacefully and enjoy this wonderful existence where you have whatever you want, whenever you want, however much you want? The Judeo-Christian texts have a concept for this. It is about settling the Holy Land. Those lessons and paradigms are as valid today as they were back then. These are folklore visions, not based on gender, species, time or planet. So, you face the prospect of entering a holy land. Do not strike the earth, lest you be excluded. Do not abuse nor take for granted the forces that enable a viable biosphere, fertility, and/or water supply. Do not enslave, as you were once slaves. Ensure there is adequate infrastructure and do not begrudge your fair share of tithes/taxes. Provide refuge - for your own people, refugees from other nations, and suspects who need fair hearings. Provide fair and impartial justice, eschew corruption. Leave space for nature and the poor, do not shove flank so there is no space for "the other". Whether you live on a particularly fertile location, space, or planet, these are cornerstone paradigms. Life cannot exist without sustaining paradigms. It matters no matter how much wealth you have accumulated in one place, location, or planet. If what you have created is not viable then what follows is death, including of your empire. Sustainable paradigms and empires are built by those who see beyond the here and now to the bigger picture. Ask yourself not how much wealth you have accumulated, but what is the value of that wealth beyond your existence? The really clever souls will pivot point to affirm and protect life in the here and now, with a legacy that earns them respect and accolades for generations to follow.
Wow I love the way Simon put simple words into concepts that are complex to explain

Can you suggest some books for self improvement

What do u mean? They execute their vision. I disagree with you on this. We are human and we are not perfect.

First thought that came to mind. Glad others see it as well.
What is meant by up and out versus down and in?????????????
