Take note of the bells in this soundtrack; these are the Bells of Calamity, and you'll hear them a lot going forward. Whenever you hear their chime, it means the being they play for is one to be feared and respected, that it is a powerful creature of great importance.
Yeah, and this is for a mere clone of Cali, which shows you just how much *greater* she is in comparison, as you can only match her after beating gods, dragons and beings that devour other gods.
in Old Duke's theme there can be heard the different kind of bells, the lower-pitched ones. They do in fact indicate that this mortal being is not to be underestimated as a mortal that is you (Terrarian), yet the sound doesn't "shine the godly power" in it. Raw, metal, battle of strength

This is the "fake" version of this song, in the meaning that the enemy of this battle is but a clone of the actual boss. Please react to the upgraded version of this song, titled "Stained, Brutal Calamity".
it is a theme of a boss the mod is named after, calamitas, an extremely powerful witch who is responsible for a lot of, well, calamities that happened in the world of the mod so the duality of beauty and brawn is fitting here, since calamitas is extremely beautiful (out of her boss form) and extremely brutal
Raw, Unfiltered, Calamity has so many leitmotifs due to it trying to show you how far you’ve come. You are fighting and just getting reminders of all the monsters you’ve slain. It’s quite neat!

if you liked this, you should listen to "Stained, Brutal Calamity" Its basically a jumped up version of this song because this song (raw calamity) is about a clone of the final boss. I think you would really like it and like comparing the differences between the two
Yay, more Calamity! This is my favorite series on your channel. Waiting for Yharon theme and DOG theme, these will be fire, lol. Also, if you looking for more good music, I think you'll might like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous OST. Especially mythic paths themes.

Does anyone else want just the electric violin cover with the song on its own? I seriously wanna see all 9 minutes with this guy absolutely shredding it
This song has several leitmotifs, Guardian of the Former Seas, Antarctic Reinforcement, Left Alone, Return to Slime, Infestation. But there is one, important, Motif, that will be in a future calamity track, that is for the main villain of calamity mod. Yharim, and it is the final 8 notes of the song before it loops, and the motif is simply known, as "Yharim's Insignia" which is at 7:07, and it is one of several Yharim leitmotif's across the mod. And the first yharon theme, which you will probably hear later on, Infernal Catharsis, all I will say is that, the main motifs of it, belong to Yharim. And you'll hear those 8 bell notes, again much later on. But, there is one upcoming calamity song, that is still being worked on, for a boss named "Draedon" and his current theme is a placeholder
This song is actually a whole bunch of callbacks starting at the very beginning! In order: Guardian of the former Seas Blood Coagulant (very hard to hear) Antarctic Reinforcement Infestation Return to Slime The Filthy Mind Left Alone They END at 5:07 (in this video) if you haven't heard them all!
The end has come the witch and the prophecy deciding fates with the world on the line who shall emerge from the ashes of calamity how shall this fabel end through this legends intertwined.

Fun fact. Raw, unfiltered, calamity is a call back to the themes: antarctic reinforcement, 1nf3s+@!0n, Return to slime, The filthy mind, And left alone, As well as being a call forward to stained, brutal, calamity💥
Listening to the OST again via this video, and also seeing your happiness and amazement whilst listening to it reminds me of my sadness I felt when I heard DM Dokuro stopped for the Calamity Mod. He did stop with a good reason though, the spoiled section of the Calamity community bullied him out for no good reason...this happened years ago and he's still recovering, in his own way...
A recommendation alongside the Terraria OST and Calamity OST, the Terraria otherworldly OST. Originally a soundtrack designed for Terraria Otherworld back in 2015, but since the game's development was closed they added it as a "secret" soundtrack for Terraria 1.4, I believe, and it's available on Steam as well.
For the next calamity video, please try and search up "leviathan trilogy", because the official soundtrack for the music is pretty much the incomplete version, there are supposed to be 3 tracks associated with this boss, the official music only has 2

wait until you get to Anahita and Levithan that is a legendary symphony that will play constantly through out your mind
Calamity soundtracks from DM Dokoru is amazing, and ALWAYS will be
I would hear Calamity a hundred times and would hear the OST another hundred times
if you liked this, you should listen to "Stained, Brutal Calamity" Its basically a jumped up version of this song because this song (raw calamity) is about a clone of the final boss. I think you would really like it and like comparing the differences between the two
I love this song an incredible amount and knowing that next is the leviathan trilogy makes me even happier
I cant wait till you see the rest of the songs from calamity! it only gets better and better! :))
Ive been waiting for this..
Found the videos a couple days ago. And simply love your genuine reaction to these masterpieces. My suggestion would be either "devourer of gods" or the full version of it. (With the scourges) or a personal favourite. "Sunken sea"
Also in the earlier video with Crabulon. Loved the crab claw play =D
Just watching this video has me so excited for his reaction when he finally makes it to "stained, brutal calamity", its gonna be so good XD
Should definitely check out Toxic Wisdom from the ost, was actually the last song DM DOKURO made for the game
i really cant wait for the songs after this one, this is where in my opinon the music starts to ramp up.
Imagine his face when he hears roar of the jungle dragon 😅
i have never in my life seen an electric violin before but it's the rawest thing ever
Does anyone else want just the electric violin cover with the song on its own? I seriously wanna see all 9 minutes with this guy absolutely shredding it
This is why this song is one of my favorites of this soundtrack
when ever you hear the calamity bells in a boss theme that means that the boss is very important/monumental especially lore wise
Raw unfil tered calamity really melted my heart with this music's and this crazy bosses. I love it
This song is actually a whole bunch of callbacks starting at the very beginning!
In order:
Guardian of the former Seas
Blood Coagulant (very hard to hear)
Antarctic Reinforcement
Infestation
Return to Slime
The Filthy Mind
Left Alone
They END at 5:07 (in this video) if you haven't heard them all!
guardian of the former seas where
slime god has also Astral Infection leitmotif which I don't know why but it's so cool, maybe Slime God is related to Astrageldon for somehow?
@@inreisen he doesn’t
@@Kkbleeblob Right at the start!
@@fishbread9208 that’s not guardian of the former seas LMAO
Once you're done with Calamity, I have been playing a game called Necesse and the soundtrack for it is so good! would love to see you review it!
You should listen to "Stained, Brutal Calamity" or "Roar of the Jungle Dragon" next
he didnt notice the antarctic reinforcement motif,,,. :sob:
The end has come the witch and the prophecy deciding fates with the world on the line who shall emerge from the ashes of calamity how shall this fabel end through this legends intertwined.
Raw, Unfiltered Calamity is by far my favorite calamity track I just love everything about it. I always try to record the music inside of the music box accessory so I can listen to it anytime in game.
i know you already listened to all boss themes (you can even hear roar of the jungle dragon at the advertisement part), but i am curious if siren's warcry (not uploaded officially on UA-cam), biome themes and interludes got attention as well, they are a severely underrated parts of ost
Fun fact. Raw, unfiltered, calamity is a call back to the themes: antarctic reinforcement,
1nf3s+@!0n,
Return to slime,
The filthy mind,
And left alone,
As well as being a call forward to stained, brutal, calamity💥
Listening to the OST again via this video, and also seeing your happiness and amazement whilst listening to it reminds me of my sadness I felt when I heard DM Dokuro stopped for the Calamity Mod. He did stop with a good reason though, the spoiled section of the Calamity community bullied him out for no good reason...this happened years ago and he's still recovering, in his own way...
Your cover of the song is so good!!!
Patiently waiting for Yharon’s theme in one of these videos only to hear a lullaby remix of the song made me super happy
Literally waiting to to see your reaction on DoG soundtrack
A recommendation alongside the Terraria OST and Calamity OST, the Terraria otherworldly OST. Originally a soundtrack designed for Terraria Otherworld back in 2015, but since the game's development was closed they added it as a "secret" soundtrack for Terraria 1.4, I believe, and it's available on Steam as well.
For the next calamity video, please try and search up "leviathan trilogy", because the official soundtrack for the music is pretty much the incomplete version, there are supposed to be 3 tracks associated with this boss, the official music only has 2
