I do physical therapy and this is literally one part of my treatment method. It works. Even if you don’t get immediate improvement then don’t give up. Do it daily for a minute or two and the pain may subside for some people. It is worth a shot.
@emgeelives didn't help mine. Going on 6 months and I wear compression socks every day, have specific inserts for my shoes, do the stretches, the massages, etc. Gonna try this method tonite!!🤞
@@gphillimo2nd this as I'm on my 4th round of PT, many tendon tears. And I was in medical itis absolutely means inflammation. The top orthopedic surgeon I saw said it's a bad inflammation disease even though I'm also on high anti-inflammatory meds
I have hard flooring throughout my house and developed plantar fasciitis walking barefoot all of the time. Now I have one pair of orthotic sandals that I wear only inside the house and no more foot pain. I wear Vionic sandals but you can try other brands.
This works you guys, I been dealing with this thing that came out of nowhere. Stretching the calves helped amazingly too. Get close the wall, place both hands on the wall, begin your stretch with the hurt foot, but instead of putting your non-hurt foot straight forward place it across the hurt foot to reach the wall this will stretch the heel. Try it It’s gonna hurt at first ngl, BUT after your first 3 ten seconds reps the pain will subside. I also do another stretch, same wall position but I swing my non hurt foot towards me instead of reaching the wall. I hope this helps
It’s not an inflammation issue, but rather a circulation one. Either way, massage helps with the circulation, but the source causing problem still needs to be taken cared of
For circulation alternate a heated spoon with a freezer cooled one and just hold it in the center of your foot until the temperature of the spoon fades. This works even better with steel mixing bowls. Set upside down while sitting roll your foot around. Hope this helps.
But how?? I've been seeing a podiatrist. I wear the night splint, have the orthodic inserts, do the stretches, massaging, even had a steroid injection (hurt like hell)! After the injection, I had about 3 days of no pain. Now it's worse than before!
@@MVS_DJGillyGill I don't now because it's gone. I upped my vitamin intake. If it came back I certainly would because it worked before. I'm not saying it would definitely work for everyone, but it really did help things for me

Anything in our bodies that is involved with cronic pain is inflammation. I personally struggled with This for 3 years and only recently it decided to go away till the next episode I guess! Lol and it’s not the first time I have gotten plantar fasciitis. It’s horribly painful! 😢 I did a water fast and by the end of day 5 the plantar fasciitis disappeared! Then I recalled that’s exactly what I did the last time I did the water fast which cleans out your whole system from toxins and inflammation even my knee which I have arthritis disappeared and I’m walking great and it’s been about three months now that I’m walking great from both issues. Both was taken care of simply by removing all foods and water fast. Once I got off the water fast. I did veggie and fruit shakes and then added a week later some veggie soups before I started back to eating regular. Just putting it out there!
Great information but also when you are finished take your hands and massage the lotion all over your feet it will give your entire foot good circulation and moisturize it and it will also lower your blood pressure by preventing your spouse from yelling at you for putting stains in the carpet.
I have a ball, about the size of a tennis ball, that has little rubber spikes on it. Have been using it several times a day, for a few weeks. No relief! Stretch, wear orthotic inserts specifically fo PF, wear a night splint, even had a steroid injection. Still hurts like hell!! 😔

I hope you are doing much better than you were. I have the same issue. My meniscus tears are vertical and I'm waiting for orthopedic surgeon appointment. I hope this spoon crap helps. I'm ready to cut my feet off. Lol
We recommend using lotion so that way the spoon can glide smoothly across your skin and you can moisturize your foot at the same time. Plus, you can eat your yogurt instead when you're done (NOT with the same spoon though, that would be gross)!
I will give you a 👍 if it works. I have walked over 1,000 miles on the Appalachian Trail and have over 1,000 more to go before March 31st of next year and have been plagued with plantar fasciitis. Everything seems to work temporarily. I obviously need long-term relief!
😂. That first comment is goofy.... But THIS sounds great. I used to be a skateboarder in my teenage years and early 20s. Now I am 40 and working a factory job kills me
This is the graston technique. It's not just for your foot, but everywhere. I do it on my Achilles tendon, my knees, and wrist. Very old technique, the gladiators would do this, it loosens the adhesion that causes pain. Works very well.
