In this case what the writers have done is write fan fiction instead of an adaptation. It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen from a franchise of its kind. They deserve every bit of vitriol hurled at them. And rest assured Netflix is not happy with how the Witcher thing has turned out. They’ve cancelled the last two seasons and have to replace the lead actor.
I absolutely hate how in several hours of episodes there is only approximately 10 minutes of monster hunting At this point why even bother making a show about a monster hunter when there is barely any monster hunting
Because every writer seems to think they'll impress everyone if they use what they learnt in their college creative writing classes and write about every characters relationships and feelings about the last thing that happened to them in the story🤦🏻 Truth is that's boring af in the real world🙄
I wish there were more of this and less politics in the series. Each episode should be one epic monster hunt, nothing else, a self-contained story in each episoce.
