It's been 26 years since i got my license.
Went to Ham Study and took their first practice test without studying just using random stored brain info and got a 45% score and now to study up
Having listened to none of the other videos, I tried a "cold turkey" taking of the practice test, I got 71%, so I think that I have a good start already.

I'm having difficulty with focusing, and your videos are always straightforward. I'm working to get my General and am heading to download HamStudy right now. I hope you make a General and Extra series like this Technician series as I can actually focus on the material easier in video format instead of plunking myself down with a book. This is such a cool series. I just wished I had the same for Advanced Licences for VK land. I would totally watch this if I was in the US, however I don't want to get my Australian and USA registrations mixed up.

Pro Tip: Get a copy of the question/answer pool. Cross out all options except the correct answer. When you take the test, only one answer will look familiar and the others will be completely foreign.
I took and passed my general today. I went back and took a tech practice test and absolutely bombed it. Lol
When are you going to update the general class info? This playlist was super helpful in getting my Technician license. I really enjoyed your method of focusing on the correct answers, and after doing the course on Ham Radio Prep, this really helped to reinforce the information. Hoping to do the same for both General and Extra. Thanks!
Whenever someone figures out how to get me more time in the day. I still have a fulltime career and a family, which comes first.
@@HamRadioCrashCourse lol, I get it. But do know that your efforts are greatly appreciated and extremely useful. I would say these videos were perhaps the most helpful tool I used to study for the exam. And I kinda went nuts, read two books, took an online course, watched multiple online prep courses, and yours, by far, was the most pertinent and useful with regards to test taking. Thanks again for all you do!

so ive been interested in HAM for quite some time but i have very basic knowledge of RF from my days of playing with CBs back when i was a kid.. i took a practice test online and passed with an 85%

As animals who don't intend to ever use CTCSS DTMF, Q signals, DMR FT8 WSJT-X D-STAR SSB, lions find every section that he says is easy to be very difficult.

Is this a good start radio for a technican TYT TH-9800 Quad Band 50W Cross-Band Mobile Car Ham Radio ?
Please tell me you're gonna do a similar list for the General and Expert licenses? Learning hands on is certainly better, but this is good for understanding some of the underlying maths.

Could you recommend/direct me (us) to any particular books or PDFs or other docs that is essentially the info to test on? I highlight and scribble marginal notes A LOT and those mediums will help me greatly. Thanks so much for all you do here!
