You can find the Chase Tactical LVPC here: www.chasetactical.com/product/ct-low-visibility-plate-carrier/ And the 4S17 Ballistic Plates here: www.chasetactical.com/product/4s17-level-iv-hard-armor-plates-sc/
I have the Chase Tactical LOPC and bump helmet and both have been great. They're U.S. made and really good quality. Their Joey pouch really boosted them and I try to highlight them when I can, great company.
What makes these plates a better buy than say RMA 1155s or Hesco 4401s? Also the site says the plate carriers are designed in the U.S., not made in the U.S. Generally that's fancy talk for foreign made.
a lot of chase products are just rebranded highcom products. On highcoms website they say a majority of their products are domestically produced, do with that what you will. That being said all three plates youve listed are on the heavy side of the weight range so just find one in multicurve and the cut/size you want then figure out weight and price, you can always save up more and get the next lighter set of plates
@@henryliu1046 I have RMA 1155s. They're heavy but solid plates. Next set will be a pair of Hesco Level IV plates. In terms of weight Chase and RMA are close with Chase costing more. My point is for a basic slick plate carrier setup there are a lot of better options out there than Chase (Ferro, Spiritus, Defense Mechanisms, RMA, Hesco, etc.).
@@jonathanwick1265 I am definitely interested in a basic slick carrier with elastic cumberbun and Level IV plates. Do you have a go to for a "good deal" rather than "the best"?
@@readyme Right now I have a Ferro Concepts Slickster with RMA 1155s. I would recommend this setup, but the plates are pretty heavy (8.2 lbs per plate I think). The carrier with the cummerbund was $160ish and the plates were like $290ish shipped. There are lot of options out there. Just depends on your budget and your needs.
7 lbs aint bad...about 14.5 for 2 plates then with rig and some mags maybe 20-25 lbs...u put that in a comfortable plate carrier its worth what they can stop. tanky plates. some of those lightweight lvl 4 plates have worse backface deformation too
1 inch thick rifle plates are not really concealable without some immense winter clothing. Really any rigid plate is near impossible to conceal in "normal" clothing.

I ended up buying this rig after your tactical games review of it. Everything you need, and nothing that you don’t need.
Thank you for posting this! You are one of the few reviewers for this LVPC!
CHASE TACTICAL = Very Underrated
