The reason Chris Pratt is so down to earth is because he knows what its like to be a broke bastard.
You can see Chris was really grateful for the old ladies kindness when he takes a pause at the end while everyone is still enjoying the hilarity and he just thinks about how hard it was and how fortunate he is. I just love him as a human being

People are really reading into Jen and Chris' relationship. I mean, I get it, life is boring, but when someone is as good a storyteller you don't look away in case you miss something. Jen seems to listen with her wyes, meaning she stares at people when they talk. Please adopt a dog or something. I hate when people start rumors just because they want them to be true, or for any reason.

In a pub-restaurant I used to work in, chips were a major seller (we weren't a fast food restaurant, but it's a pub, there are a lot of chips). Anyway, they were cooked in huge batches and just left in a tray under a hot lamp so they could be served pretty quick.
I was doing an evening shift and had forgotten to eat before I came out so I was basically running on a sandwich I'd eaten 6 hours previously. Every time I brought dirty dishes back, I'd snag a chip or two. On one of these occasions, the chef/manageress' husband saw me and I immediately went "I haven't eaten since lunchtime". He gave a look at the standing orders, tipped the rest of the chips into a large bowl and went "Grab some salt and ketchup and eat them in the back. You've got five minutes. Don't tell Sara [his wife]." I was so happy there was almost a full tray left. He's such a nice guy.
