If it's so cheap, why did you get it. #FakeDrama
Guess I forgot to put that clip in the video. This was the only saw in East Texas. I searched every town within 100 miles. No blades for my makita, no saws. Lost two days of work trying sort this out. #Unnecessaryconspiracytheory
@@TheGoodoftheLand calling it a conspirecy theory dosent disprove it , almost evreything alex jhonas said happend . and with the coof , a lot of yestarday's conspirecy is tomorows fact
Very cool....Getting ready to foam my shop too...Can't wait! Fun, helpful vid, Justin!!!
Loved your pragmatic restorations, love your pragmatic engineering even more
really good work you all did , thank you
Excellent video good looking build. Good to see you back on UA-cam.
Long time no see!!! Glad you're still around
Wow, looking really good.
Diablo.. the only blades i trust.
Great work guys from Blue Ridge Ga........
A cost breakdown would be nice!
Good job fixing the inside of the container.
Awesome build! I’ve been looking at something similar but shop on one side with storage on the other and cover for trailers and farm equipment in between. Also been looking at getting a twenty footer to insulate and start storing beef for direct sell to public.
Great video, can't wait to see how this turns out. It's starting to look like a Thunderbirds secret base!
Really interesting, thanks for the awesome video!
Good job guys.
looks great
I know who I'm going to get to do our semi Earthship home. Beautiful job sir.
Great projects!
I'll take a dozen. Very cool.
good job man good video
Love your videos
Thanks brother!
Very cool build!
Thanks Brian!
We got a new ac this summer, and it's an energy star. Amazing how well it works compared to the old one we donated....
This is great to see. I have a corrugated building like that but its 48x25 for my machine shop. I need to insulate it. I had a guy spray foam the outside, but I think It was under thickness becuase
its eroding( I've been too busy at work to keep up repainting elastomer on the outside) and woodpeckers are eating the foam.
Fireball makes awesome products!
Never lay drywall in such a way that you get a T-joint ... always with an offset … Good Job … as always 👍🏽
Wow. Yellow.
Looking really good!
Can you give the details on the water heater?
Wow
Awesome! What kind of water heater is that? Thanks!
I bet that spray foam is still on your arm :) Nasty stuff!
If you have to use cheap weak tools use a good blade?got it going to keep that in mind
Would you do at the same way if you had to do it all over again?
Guess he is never going to finish the electric kayak builds he was so excited about long ago.
i have been pondering the container refit idea and i think i would like a aluminum or bolt together steel frame and none of the terrible corrugated headache, plus the floor is a also problematic and instead mine would or could be disassembled with 1 inch bolts but i would have wood subassemblies to mount doors and windows and walls and roof= no hours of trying to think of structural complicated intersections
Have you anchor the container to the concrete?
I want mine to be two shipping containers long with four total and the ability to close the ends (drive through) on the shop in the middle.
There's this insulating roof paint used by school-bus converters that really works well to cut down the heat from the roof metal. Can't remember what it is but if you look around you'll find it. Kind of expensive but it works.
There are several 100% silicone products that are ultra white, CertainTeed and GACO are 2 top line brands you would have to buy at a roofing supply store
I want one...
10:22 Why is the video mirrored?
What kind of hot water heater are you using?
What's up with Mark's tractor
What is the name of the company who make the roof dome corrugated parts?
With all the 2x4s and steel beams, you wonder if it was necessary to even have the shipping containers.
I believe it is not. You can do it cheaper but if you want straight walls this is the way. My guess is a standard building is less expensive and faster to build.
No afen but that table is not the Flatts welding table I've seen. My dad has 1 that is long as a car and is omost as wide as a car
😁
How much did the spray foam cost?
I’m starting a 32ft trailer project.
I paid $2200. That is a very low price. My guess is any other company in our area would have charged around $3500
Can You please tell us what it all cost you?
How the cost on that spray insulation ?? I need to do something like that in my 12x20 little shop
I have a local guy that I have used in every project. He is way cheaper. My guess it $3500 from any company other than him. His price was much less.
@@TheGoodoftheLand I need to look into that no point in ac if there is no insulation
@@BSSMALLENGINES My "shop" is 900 sqft (30x30), Brandon.... I've been quoted a tad over $3k for 6" thick on the ceiling. and 4"thick on the walls. (the high density stuff)... Seems high to me, but like you said, A/C isn't much good if you don't insulate.
@@OutontheRanchwithDrLee-xb4lo It a good investment. For me only being able to work mornings and nights cause of the it really slows me down
@@BSSMALLENGINES Same here, I don't really enjoy going in mine Jan,Feb,Aug, or Sept, etc....
What did you do to the saw besides replace the blade?
The blade was the biggest problem. Had to torque down the guide very tight to maintain cut angle. It's not necessary but I also removed a short section of the guard.
@@TheGoodoftheLand Thank you.
Is this build for your personal use, or is it for someone else?
It's for someone else
im always worried about offgassing from foam insulation, but then again everything offgasses
*_ Especially after a night of Chilly Beans! _*
Yellow , I hope that's primer
No, its the actual color... Definitely not my style.
There's no accounting for taste.
Who is this building for?
The gentleman who is in the video just after the spray foam.
Awesome video and i am the first comment👍
You are the first!
shipping containers are great for ...SHIPPING... the strength comes from effective depth of the corrugation of the skin. as a long term structure there less than ideal put a window in it you loose structural integrity! when the skin rusts you loose structural integrity !! so if it isnt kept painted and if you havent created an actual structural system to carry load the box will fail. your steel frames cover the loss of integrity where you pierced the skin but there is no internal load carrying structure you are hanging the walls and ceiling off the box when you actually need to support the box not just create nailing surfaces for the drywall.. its looking like you will have a large functional space but for future container projects please include a structural system within the box as modifying the box changes its load carrying capacities . thanks for the videos
we need to warn people , everything is problematic , condensation, rust at every place u can think of, under the floor is thin crappy T stiffeners and access to rodents/rust/ fungus the paint is poisonous the doors are problems and better used on a container. People really need to talk to a engineer for cool ideas off the original idea
i'm wagering you did not use metal cutting saw with those diablo blades.. metal cutting saws run slower with more torque...
