@@Akeynoteyo actually a weighted 60% with a gummy o ring mount and HE switches would be next level! Honestly I dream of a world where someone creates an open source 60% HE compatible PCB that also has H60 cutouts and a daughterboard, it could work in so many customs!!
@@ImOnMy116 keep dreaming bro HE with gummy o-ring may not work out, but it would be freaking sick! The bounce from the gummy would mess with the magnetic sensor 😭
@@Akeynotehaha well I was thinking if the PCB had standoffs it would be okay even with a softer plate, assume the main concern is the need to keep a consistent distance between the switches/switch plate and the PCB.

Yeah typically when you install all the foam in a keyboard they all sound very similar. This one is good as well.

which one do you prefer tho? qk80 neo70 or neo80 in terms of quality and feels of typing?
Quality is the same, and I like typing on the 80 more but I don’t like TKL.

How would this compare to the qk80?
I definitely like the look of the qk80 but this types nicer. Sound is subjective
Comparing the mounting styles of Neo80 over Neo65, this is definitely way more attractive to me. However, I am also not a fan of 80% keyboard. This is just too long for me, and not fitting well with my small narrow working station. Praying Qwertykeys will drop the Neo75 soon and have all the four mounting styles on it. Otherwise, I may want to wait for V2 of Neo65 instead. Thank you for your work, your videos really helps me to decide which boards to get.

neo80 vs cycle7 who better at sound
I think Neo 80. It sounds a little more crisp. IMO the cycle is a deeper sounding board which I’ve grown out of a little bit
man i think i made a huge mistake by ordering a polycarbonate plate D:, anyone can tell me what sound profile i would get with pc plate?
Close to pom maybe a tad higher pitch. The oil kings are pretty high pitch though, so it may be sounding super high pitched in this video than it really is lol.
@@Akeynote aren't oil kings supposed to be one of the lowest pitched switches?
@@eossoon naaah the inks are way more low pitched than the oil kings. IMO
