Yeah, PlantMan is fucking busted. Legitimately, Sensor3 P + Plasma3 P + PlantMan P makes P-codes almost as bad as Flash Crusher when it comes to relentless stunlocking
I like this game in that the combat is significantly faster compared to the later ones, as they didn't have as many broken chips outside of Super Vulcan. Shame that everything in the later games is all about getting to and setting up Super Vulcan as quickly as possible. Also, there were more codes for chips, and most standard chips come in 5 codes + asterisk. More of the standard chips were very good damage dealers compared to the later games' (StepCross, Sensor3, Plasma3 and Shadow comes to mind). Folderbak is incredible in that it also acts as a forced Full Custom. The best code is probably B with Blues (ProtoMan) with BubbleMan and those cheeky Aqua +20s and Atk +30, with access to Double Hero. Also, BowlMan is very good. The most fun code is probably P or J. P has PlantMan, and Punk if you hacked it in. StepCross acts as a 260 damage standard chip if you hit it right, comes in P, and you can run 4 of them. It is also fantastic that PlantMan immobilizes foes for that 260 hit. J is notorious for its Disco Inferno combo, with setting up a code J Heat Spreader Program Advance with Prism J and Grass Stage in play. However, code J Prisms are extremely rare, and I've only recalled getting 2 from the 10-Bug Frag Trader in the Secret Area. R is another cheeky code to run. R may seem like garbage as the only Mega chips it get are Roll and Meteor. But sadly, this is also the last game that can arealock your opponents to 1 tile, making that 16-hit Meteor quite a sight to behold. StepCross also comes in R. D is also viable as a code. D has DarkMan, which can be devastating if you can arealock your opponents. Also gives a free Hole for those Bass Giga chips. Dark Aura is absolute ass. DrillMan is...alright? This is why BN3 is better than the later games. More codes for chips, more standard chips (200) compared to the later ones (150), Custom style is busted, HubBatch is amazing, great and extensive post-game tasks (screw those XtraFolder time trials though), unique and original Giga chips, more folder creativity due to higher code selection, all around better game. The only thing I would bring to BN3 from the future games is probably countering/Full Synchro, DblPoint, and perhaps re categorizing certain chips.
Have to disagree. Even at it's most powerful, Super Vulcan actually tends to be less useful than other options simply because of the unreliability of it. As a matter of fact, in six (where it's arguably the best) it can get shut out hard by any defensive folder. But there were some issues that just wrecked three for me. With Disco Inferno, Multi Element Wave Neo Varies, and 2xhero rolling about, it didn't pay to have any more than about 1300 hp, since that was the point where it always took two shots to kill you. Also, a White version could just get shut out of a battle with a Blue version since Folderbak allowed a Blue player with fast reactions to simply run their opponent out of chips by spamming going to the chip screen. And with no way to force out of a stun-lock, it could quickly devolve into a game of who doesn't slip up instead of who manages to win (and yes, those are two different things). Note, this is coming from one of the jerks who ran Flash-Ratton in Blue version. Honestly, I still think six was the best, with the only real issue I had being the restriction of P.A.s to a single use. S-code seriously needed some love.
Of course, arguably, Super Vulcan is a lot more broken in BN6 due to Beast Out giving it Atk +30, as well as the higher base damage. Super Vulcan is very risky in PVP without stun modifiers, WhiteCapsule, or Uninstall and remove that SuperArmor. And yes, the B code is very boring after a while, just getting to DblHero being the main task. PVP is very fun in BN3 (I had a friend who had White), and yeah, in-game, most only run HubBatch, BugStop, BusterMax, and a Custom1, and usually don't run HP at all due to the lack of space. In PVP, you'll definitely need HP. As for BN6, the reason I don't like it as much is because the English version has content unlocalized. I have the Japanese version of Falzar, and it's great. The Danjo chips, Hakushaku, and the Boktai side quest with Otenko. It's pretty nice, but the lack of codes and more standard chips makes folder creativity more limited. The main codes with BN6 were B (BlastMan/Protoman), D (DiveMan and some other stuff), S (LifeSword + SlashMan), and C (probably the most fun, had Colonel/ChargeMan/TentRapeMan and good standard C chips). It's just that earlier games had way more chip codes and variety of standard chips that makes the game more fun.
Really, B-Code? Dropped that for T-Code personally as I never got enough Static G to actually run G code (the over 3000 damage dream dashed). Honestly though, I found Falzar J-code to be some of the most fun I've had running a folder (even use the on code giga). BN 6 had a lot of good folders, you just have to know some of the interactions. I do agree about the dropped content though.
i do H, M, N and R for my chip code in 6, can also do the Bubble Thunder build too where you use the Starfish Bubble + Thunderdoll + Elec Cross it's pretty broken. I feel 3 has the most OP chips with 6 not far behind.
The chips in this game are busted, plantman flahsman folder literally kills every omega in record time and you can just combo any omega boss to death effortlessly no PA's. Folderbak just makes it even more silly.

Punk Omega is the secret and unused boss of the game. During that time I didn't knew about him. P.S. in BN1 and BN2 the maximum difficulty of bosses is the V3 (it's equal to SP), and BN3-5 don't have SP-bosses. There are Beta forms as a equivalent to them, but in BN4 and 5 the form that you randomly encounter in certain areas is the Omega (it's like V4 boss)
Bokune9999 Megaman BN 3 only thing, it's a chip that grants you back your entire folder even chips you already used previously and refills your custom gauge instantly!!! You can only get this chip in Blue version!!!
You took damage from Mistman. Doesn't count as an all boss no damage run. A repeated stun method before he does the mist would've prevented the damage.

Whoah.......Your good.....really good is there some way you could upload your game save somehow so I could use it on a Rom?
I lost that savefile by accident during the data transfering from old notebook to new one, unfortunately :(
TheRockmanExeNetwork It's ok I was just wondering :P
How do I fight bubbleman? My HP is low, every battle gets me anxious, I already defeated bubbleman α
Rollv3 R is a terrible choice, get a full cust instead to speed up those fldrbck odds
Plantman Battle Network 3
Ugh plant mans base was annoying but the fight was fun
Hope punk can be obtained in network Legacy Collection
You fought Punk beta, not omega. I really don't know about battle network 3, but in every game there are omega or sp versions of every boss.
:-*
:O
B-)
:-! :-P >::.;!?
Gran trabajo viejo yo llege a jugar igual que tu solo que yo juge el mbn 3 white
JapanMan? Guess the originality well dried up...🤔
18:43 Why did stepcros break the aura when it is less than 200 damage?
If you hit them directly (right in front of them), it does double damage.
Question if anyone sees this after so long, how is possible that they start with more chips and are able to pick so many before the battle starts ?
The style change Aqua Custom lets you choose more battlechips. Im guessing he also installs a program in the Navicust to add more chips.
Plantman is the best navi chip EVER!!!
So....is JapanMan.EXE the netnavi version of Yamato Man?
so whats with those weird flashes that appear during every fight???
Bokune9999 FolderBack using, if you mean those flashes appearing with thunder sound and before Custom screen.
TheRockmanExeNetwork aaaaand… just what is this folder back thing???
Bokune9999 Megaman BN 3 only thing, it's a chip that grants you back your entire folder even chips you already used previously and refills your custom gauge instantly!!! You can only get this chip in Blue version!!!
NeoDanomaru ah i see…
You took damage from Mistman. Doesn't count as an all boss no damage run. A repeated stun method before he does the mist would've prevented the damage.
Mmbn 1: swords
Mmbn 3: plantman
Anybody count it cheating at 17:30 that he paused the game vs drill man to see the direction of his attacks? Lol void. Other wise great gameplay I would've loved to play you
Abraham Haskins maybe he accidentally clicked pause?
Why Electric Weak to Plant and Water or Ice Weak to Electric??
Foldrback fucking legendary
プラントマンほんと便利だな。
Beast man is my favorite boss
Do you still own this game? Do you still have a copy of Mistman V4? PLEASE GET IN CONTACT WITH ME!
Plant man in my opinion was the easiest other than flash man
Damn you reddit, now i gotta play this too...
The Flder back is OP and make this game so unbalanced from other MMBN hahahaah
But I like it
🤦♂🤦♂🤣🤣🤣😍😍
Is Bass supposed to kick your ass right after you beat FlameMan, because I was at 289 health, and lasted a good 30 seconds lol. Also where tf is Rank 10 in the undernet??
Me:
*is the guy who uses pas and swords(not that absurd op heroswrd) +an antidmg and guard for defense*
Everyone else:SUPER VULCAN IS OP PLANTMAN IS GOD
how do you get that thing on mega man's back?
You have to use a lot of battle chips and less navi chips and busters. You're style will change to Custom Style but gives you a random element.
Thanks man!
Whoooooshh
how did you get fast gauge *?
on the plot!
cool
Spam Ice stage Flash man and plasma instant way
You took damage on MistMan tho 🤔
I think he needs no attack damage because technically Mist man's poison damage is effect damage
