Remember the good ole days when Mega Man, especially MMBN, fans were just booming with creative content? I'm glad it hasn't died, but many of us have grown up, and in recent years, seen a drought of support by Capcom for anything Mega Man. This series is just too good.
Hopefully, this seems like a good decade for the entire Megaman saga, like Capcom has stated to pay attention to him again, so grab your megabuster and be ready to defeat some folk on HD!
BN6 competitive is still alive actually, which was a surprise to me when I discovered it in my recommended lists yesterday. Look up N1GP EDIT: Actually, you know what, here. ua-cam.com/video/L86-2dr4QJM/v-deo.html
They’re looking for publishers now so that they can bring a collections game to the switch like megaman, x, and zx collections. Hopefully we get a new MMBN game tho these games were the best out of the megaman franchise
@@pokerflush1000 it's already been mentioned that they would like to, but can't due to lack of inspiration. Of course, the fact that the games are _done_ probably won't help get it past the suggestion table either.

I remember how just like Lan in NT Warrior, I accidentally found Life Sword as a kid. The screen suddenly dims and 3 of my chips merge into something greater. It was incredible.
I remember doing my first PA by accident, after completly changing my folder for the bass/alpha fight in MMBN 3, I was at my wits end, just cramming powerful chips to get past bass, and I somehow got all 3 of my STEPSWORD chips, (N,O,P) lined up, unlocking the ZSTEP PA, much to my surprise, (and delight). It was one of the major factors to finally beating that bastard!
Master Style was the hottest shit. I think from the moment I got it I just went ahead and made an all * folder just so I could finish any boss with it in like 2 or 3 turns... :P
I know this is a late response but when i played bn6 cybeast falzar on gba when i was a kid i was happy to see that there's program advance like masterstyle too there! And the protoman+megaman combo doing their P.A. too tribute to megaman earlier series

This is crazy. How the heck can anyone discover the program advance in game. I played mmbn 3 for most of my childhood and high school and never even used program advance. So thank you for showing them here. This is such a nostalgia trip.
funny thing is,i only discover PA from anime..there's this one episode where Lan accidently use Life sword..it sorta gives me an idea to try and to my suprise it really works. But i never use it in game as it requires luck to get all codes comes together for PA
@@paanazmi8062 I’ve seen the ones in anime but my younger self isn’t really that meticulous with his chip folders. I was crazy about making everything an asterisk code back then or making all my chips the same code as much possible. So the possibility of encountering a PA for me was very low. I tried genuinely using PAs but it got annoying having to look down into my little notebook (the ones I copied from guides online) so I actually played mmbn 1-6 without using PAs. But now that I’m older I kind of want to do it all again. I hope that if the games have a remaster, they can integrate the PA system more in game. Because it gets tedious having to manually track everything. PA would have made the games spicier and offers more variation and fun to play but they’re too “out of the way”. My feelings are the same with Navi cust error codes when I first got it that I rarely touch my navi customizer. I guess that makes me more of a lazy player than anything.
@@Shawnzy1 the game tells you to arrange chips at certain orders but not the exact order. Without a walkthrough (which is not usually an option in dial up days), you have to discover PA accidentally. Edit: if I recall, an NPC or BBS post will clue you in to “load battlechips in certain orders for a stronger attack” but beyond that there’s no book or any option to discover the orders in game.
6:18 I remember having this attack in MMBN 5 (Double Team (Protoman)) months ago and I never knew it was also possible in Old MMBN 3 but it needs a PA Combination
kinda suprised nobody talks about the lore of those games, manga or anime. I think the anime at the very least is really impressive, but looking up the lore of the games is painful.
I blame all of this to Capcom milking MegaMan franchise. And they still do this to their top three IP like resident evil, monster hunter and the good old street fighter....

As far as I know M Gilbert, you don't need to master a style, just make sure the chips are in that order: Salamander, Fountain, Bolt, and Gaia Blade, and all of them are * coded. As for my personal thoughts on the Advance... I'll admit, it's powerful as hell, flashy, and pulling it off for the end of a fight is badass, but it's also impractical as hell. For starters, it requires four megachips. *FOUR*. Out of the five you can normally only take with you. Second strike against it is for three of those four, they'll be completely useless to you if you use them outside of the advance, so if they show up, they're dead draws, unless you just decide to dump them and ADD, in which case, what was the point of bringing them? Just pack something else in it's place that you CAN use. Overall, cool, impressive, but not really the end all be all of advances like some make it out to be. Go with something more practical. Edit: I guess they'd still have use if you had a wood element style and just crammed them out of order into boosting Gaia Blade's power, but then, why wouldn't you just use the advance? :P
@@ObsidiaBlack1 frankly its damage output isn't even as high as some other much less taxing combos, on top of the complete lack of utility you mentioned. EverlastingCurse, BodyGuard, and PoisonPharaoh are all much better options, and they're options you can build a folder around. In fact, you could build an incredible folder around PoisonPharaoh. DarkAura A + Geddon3 A + Sanctuary A, then drop a PoisonPharaoh. The combo is difficult, but if you drop it, it's game over for any NPC boss and lots of real players whose stage control is lacking. And none of the pieces of the combo are useless on their own.
