If you were to link up with the other version and receive the link Navis from that version and you get and finish their scenarios, then you’ll have a boss in every area of the main net EXCEPT Black Earth 1.
Burnman should’ve been the fire soul instead of Fireman, kendoman too, basically all the new unique navis in the tourney should’ve been souls... missed opportunity

Seriously, is there a way to beat Shademan Omega without abusing the HolyDream+Sanctuary combo? He's a bitch to S-rank in Blue Moon, yet you barely managed to do it!
S folder build areagrab and invis for searchsoul turn 1 if you get sanctuary that turn, it helps speed it up from there it's just a gamble between shuffling the next turn hoping you get holydrem and atk plus 30 and double point keep in mind I also had fast gauge preset.

Dark Sigma it's not possible to battle Bass XX without cheats in non-Japanese versions, if i'm not wrong. Although the cheat for the battle is hard to find and Bass gets the glitched palette
EckoEcho if you defeat the boss with least number of getting flinched (disruption after taking the hit if you're without Super Armor) and steps made, you'll get the high rank. Higher your rank - better reward you get after win. In this case: 1-10 - V1 Navi Chip. S - SP Navi Chip (DS Navi Chip, if MegaMan is dark, though DS ones you can collect in Black Earth). During virus encounters the ranking rules are more strict since virus busting is considered to be more easy encounter compared with the boss fight. Hope it helped ;)

LeMuDX I think it's absolutely impossible to have a hole on the field without using dark chips. I think just using dark chips at any time in a battle gets you the DS version.
Not BN4 related but in Battle Network 2 I got Step Sword * from Chip Trader in which I was very surprised because I thought you had to get it through cheats. I was wrong.

You can also get SP chips if you finish on level 10, if I recall.

That doesn't make any sense. If you look at your chips you can see how much of each code you have for a chip
