That's great! Try one when you're tack fusing and see how it goes. It might help to work it in two steps. 1) powder and light tack fuse. 2) then add scrap and stringers to make your flowers or design and tack fuse again. That way if your powder isn't consistent you can add a little more to even out the color.
Thank you! Have you watched my video with the glass birds? If not I show how I nip the glass for the birds and it's really the same. I always nip on the edge and about two-thirds tend to come out like petals or feathers for a bird. Here's a link to my other video that might help. ua-cam.com/video/HhDujyFjuGk/v-deo.html
You were right! It was fine frit (transparent blue) and not powder (on the yellow and orange flowers). I thought I had grabbed powder but I clearly wasn't paying attention. I often powder the clear glass, tack fuse, then add embellishments and tack fuse again. That way if the powder is uneven after the first fuse (or if I accidently use fine frit and can't see it LOL) I can correct it before the final tack fuse. I didn't do that in this video because I was short on time and wanted to share the idea. I'll share something similar with Christmas ornaments in a future video. Thanks for watching until the end :) I welcome all feedback too!
I love your flowers. They have so much character!
Thank you!
I love them… simple and cute! 🐢
Thank you!!
Lovely work!! I’m debating on attempting this myself
Thanks for the video!

Such a cute way to use scrap glass - THANKS for sharing!! ❤
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and project ideas.
Getting the powder just right takes a lot of practice! I always think I’ve got enough and it just 💨 disappears. Nice job on all three😊
Thank you! I agree, it is tricky! It looks thick but just melts away. 🥴
I love these. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you!! 💗
I love these! How do you get the petals so nicely nipped? I struggle with that!
Thanks for sharing❤

S owhat's your thought process on using Fine vs powder for the blue? Just what you had?
Or, I could watch to the end and see you used tranparent powder, and that's why I saw the spakrle and thought it was fine.
