Jamaison, those are all so sweet, I love them all! I have yet to use my stainless steel "stand up" mold or my lamp bender and I love making those floral scenes too. I am always in awe of how you end up finishing the pieces in picture frames and your excellent eye for color. Such fun and beautiful work! Thanks for sharing❣

Ohhhemmmgeeee! These are all so pretty! I like the idea of the small frame for the little sunflower piece. I think it would stand out more if your frame had some color, or maybe a colored background piece of paper behind it. Bummer about the devit but the pieces are all so pretty!

It's a mat finish on your white but not sure why it happened. It might have need a fire polish for the white glass but with your pieces you dont want to go that high. The purple flowers are great!!! All of its great!!!!

Interesting re: the clear powder texturization occurring on the pieces you have previously fired. Since they had gone into the kiln more than once, they would be prone to devit. So yeah, the clear powder acted as a barrier against that - but somehow didn't completely melt. On the other pieces, which were going into the kiln for the 1st time, this didn't happen! Weird science!!

You use whatever brand your glass is so that it’s compatible. So in my case, I’m using Bullseye glass ear powder frit.

Jamaison this is such a fun video…love all the bright sassy colours you use! Makes everyone smile. Please can you give me the dimensions of the L shaped standup mold…I would like to make one. I’ve heard some folks don’t kilnwash their stainless slump molds, but I think that might be playing with fire..hmmm pun intended 🤔 perhaps.

    • @JamaisonSchuler

Mine has an 8” slope, the back is 4” tall, and the piece is 10” across. They are so affordable you might just go buy one? Link in video notes.

Oh yes…$28. is a very good price for the bender mold…sadly as with most things purchased from the US (to Canada), shipping on this mold is $79.00, and that’s before customs adds their share on to the purchase. Just FYI…one can of ZYP spray bought on Amazon is $75. but shipping is $78. and that’s before the customs additional charge. Oh man….finding someone to make me a bender makes the most sense financially. Thank you for the measurements, Appreciate it! Cheers

Hi Jamaison. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m just learning about glass.
My husband just bought me a Paragon square CS-16S digital glass clamshell kiln and I am so excited to get it in 6-8 weeks! Soooooo much bigger than my tiny Jen-Ken AF3P 11/9 Glass Kiln with 4" bead Door!!!❤
    Anyway, my question is:
Can you please explain to me what a “rolled edge” is?
Thank you so much for sharing your learning journey! I watch and rewatch your videos every night lol and I learn so much from your videos, experience and also your failures! Thanks for sharing your mistakes as well!

I use Bullseye glass and the edges of their sheet glass is “natural” and uncut. So that’s the wavy edge you see.
