The FUTURE of Attack on Titan...

- This video explains what a sequel or prequel for Attack on Titan will look like and the possibility of it happening. The original Attack on Titan manga ended on chapter 139 and the it left possibilities for an AOT sequel. As explained in this video, Isayama would be unlikely to continue the story but there is a chance another authors might. In the past, Attack on Titan has had spin-off manga’s written by other people, such as ‘Attack on Titan: Lost Girls’ and ‘Attack on Titan: Before the Fall’. It’s therefore possible that an AOT sequel manga could be released after AOT The Final Season has finished, however a prequel surrounding the Great Titan War (or other time periods) is also a good option!

Video Information:
The most interesting way to continue AOT is to create a spin-off manga set during the great titan war. Back then the eldians had conquered the entire world and the noble families then began to fight each other. A power struggle of that nature could lead to factions being created among the noble families and you could have storylines where one group bands together to try and steal the titan of another or where there’s political disagreements based on certain families having more power.
The first part could be set before the war and set the scene by introducing us to the relevant characters in the eldian empire who would be responsible for triggering the main conflict.
The second part could be a full blown war storyline and it might be interesting to view these events from the perspective of Karl Fritz, who is someone that saw things so bad he was willing to sell out the eldian race. Maybe if we saw the things Karl saw we might better understand his reasoning for moving to Paradis island.
A 3rd part could focus on the family that had the attack titan and the things they went through to avoid being captured by Marley. After Karl Fritz abandoned his people all shifters except the Attack and founder were captured by the Marlyeans, so I think it’d be awesome to see the race against time to hide the attack titan away. My guess is that the noble who possessed it would eventually pass it on to a commoner who nobody would never suspect of having a shifter.
You could even have storylines about the members of the Fritz family who rejected Karl and his ideology or the Marlyeans who got revenge the nobles who had oppressed them for centuries.
Another idea for an AOT prequel is a a series focused from Marley’s point of view. It could be set after the Great titan war but around 70 or 80 years before the mission to invade Paradis. The focus would be a previous generation of Marlyean warriors who had conflicting views about whether they were doing the right thing. Remember, it took a decades of indoctrination for present day eldians (like Gabi) to be as brainwashed as they are.
Finally the last idea that I think would get people hyped is to do a direct sequel to the events of the manga.
Right now “Beren” is the strongest contender to be the protagonist of a sequel and I’m sure he’s someone who already lives on the island. Paradis has clearly been in ruins for many years, so there are few reasons why people from other nations would visit it, especially as nobody on the outside knows the importance of this tree. To me the only people who’d think this tree is of interest are those who live on the island, since they would know that it was the burial site for Eren YAEGER. Over the years the mystical tree probably became something of an urban legend and so Beren ventured onto the surface to see if the stories were true. A sequel could initially follow his life underground and then transition to him becoming a titan shifter but it’s anyones guess what might happens after that.

If there’s going to be a prequel to Attack on Titan about the great titan war. Somewhere I want to see how Eren Kruger got the attack titan near the end.
It’s necessary
Obviously
I’ll be heartbroken forever if they don’t do something just something with this series
Yeah Except for the Tybur and Fritz family (reiss) they didn't show who are the 9 noble eldian familes that held each of the Nine titans
(During eldia's reign there are 9 noble familes who held each one of the nine titans, that includes the fritz and tybur family)
Why did the family who once held the attack titan passed down their titan to other eldians that's not even there Family member like Kruger
I think that all boils down to the fact that one of the Attack Titan's abilities is to "fight for freedom." I heard somewhere that the Attack Titan was also meant to keep the Founding Titan in check. So it isn't really that hard to think that whatever Noble family who possess the Attack Titan prolly saw through the memories of the Attack Titan's future inheritors, and thus knowing what needs to be done. Its also isn't really a stretch that its all just Eren doing more manipulation albeit indirectly.

Since the 9 titans were based off of Ymir's 9 personalities, if the kid or the dog gets the power of the titans back, I wonder what type of new titan shifters will come out and how many titan shifters there will be.
Im thinking that the new titan founder will be a bit different.. Since its a sequel and its definitely taking place in the future, maybe the new titan shifters will 1 up themselves like instead of the titan shifters that have abilities that were only effective because its not the moden era yet.
Maybe the new titan shifters in the sequel will have new abilities that will surpass or have superior properties/capabilities compared to the technology of the future.
Lets face it, its not a good idea to still have the cart titan in the year 2099 when actual flying cars are probably going to fully exist in the future or a normal Armored titan, i mean even if armored titan will exist again, atleast let them have armor plating as tough as vibranium lmao.

The thing is, the great Titan war would be an amazing addition to the story. But, isayama wouldn't go this route since he must be extremely burnt out. @@fem-cz1mv oh ok.. sry i had a misunderstanding.
@@shadow_lore uh huh... I see
For me, I personally have a story idea that takes place in a post apocalyptic world and follows the story of the boy who discovered the Titan tree. I wouldn’t plan on him being related to anyone in the original AOT story but what I’d mainly focus on is him having the knowledge of what the “Titan era” previously did to the world and actively tries to keep his Titan powers a secret. So then from there, the story would pick up when he’s revealed to be the next founder and every major faction would want their hands on him. Then the story could takes turns where he gets captured and dna is extracted to create more Titans, whether they be ones with the powers from the original story or new ones. Hell, could even throw in a party that decides to create gundams and have Titans vs Gundams. But as I’m writing this, I find myself very interested in a story about a single man trying to prevent the world from further destroying itself, maybe even wondering if the world is even worth saving at that point. Just my thoughts really, anyone’s free to comment or throw dirt in my eyes.
Pretty good. I hope Isayama makes a sequel this style.

My prediction is that, the anime will have even better animation then before, the hype will come back for the series as usual (regardless of how some feel about the ending), and I think the anime will execute the ending better than the manga - by elaborating on certain things more, maybe changing a few things around etc. I never thought the ending was horrible, not perfect either, I just thought if Isayama wasn't limited by the page count he couldn't made it more digestible.

If this kid was able to send his knowledge back to Eren in the past, how do you think Eren would have changed his plans?
I realized something when you were talking about the titan tree. since its the burial ground of Eren Jaeger and you said the tree looked like the one that Ymir feel into, so i think that the tree hides the power of the titans after the certain death of the previous bearer who broke the royal blood chain and accessed the founding titan power without being of royal blood. So it might be possible that theres been an endless cycle of titans reemerging and then disappearing.

It would be amazing to see Beren, Bikasa and Barmin in a the future where they are little kids playing in the forest and accidentally all fall inside of the tree and all gain titan powers except for bikasa who is a descendant of the ackerman family and thus had ackerman powers. They are in a constant run for their lives because the government doesnt not want the Titan powers to be resurrected. And thus the story continues
If there was the Great Titan War, I imagine the Jaw and Cart titan team up bc the are the smallest titans.
Also, the Beast and Armoured titan being mortal enemies (thumbnail hint hint)
I really want to see the future attack/founding titan holder to be the reason eren continued the rumbling instead of him just not knowing. Forcing him to kill his mother, make his father be a killer.
We find out eren was a slave the whole time just for this kid to become a god

Here I am excited to see these people fight for their freedom but nope. Again I couldn't hate the creator, but I can simply be disappointed by the end of an anime I've watched since middle school or early highschool.
Attack on titan : wind chronicles? Cause that's what that would mean.
Beren: A sequel of AOT
Doing a series like this is a literal nightmare.
I’d want an Attack on Titan Prequel called “Attack on Titan: Founding Slave” where it’s focused with Ymir Fritz and her story. I’d like to see what life was like for her to destroy countless lives as the Founding Titan and see Marley build an alliance to fight back against Eldia.
Edit: The type of story where the protagonist slowly becomes more of a villain (or being manipulated by the villain) and do horrible things, also with the bonus of characters on the other side of it (Marleyan characters).
Imagine there is Attack on Titan: Zero where Eren timeleap again and again where he tried to save himself from death by escaping Paradis Island with Armin and Mikasa but he found out the same result that both of them will die in specific day just like in Steins Gate with Okabe. Then there is a timeline probably were Mikasa probably getting killed same with her mother and father or she was being molested by men then gets killed or she died by a disease
For a sequel it would be kinda neat to see a world war sequel. Basically like how technology is starting to get more advanced to the point its more powerfull than the titan abilites. Maybe a stupid idea but its still an idea for a sequel
There should be 9 different books explaining every person that inherited the power of the titans
Seeing how Isayama took some inspiration from Ultraman, being an Ultraman fan myself, I would like to see a sequel series similar to a twisted version of Ultraman. Beren would be taking guidance from Eren from the paths. Beren could be the only titan because I think it would take the combination of all titan powers to be able to compete with modern technology. Also there could more then one hallucegenia because who said there was only one.The others could be turing other people into titans or even animals into something like kaiju.
The Titan tree should’ve grown from the one where eren’s head was buried.
I feel like the extra pages are saying that, in relation to eren being defeated set in stone as he experiences the past, present and future at the same time, it is destined for the power of the titans to return and for it all to happen again as it may have in the past.

Don’t want a sequel. The anime/manga should just be how it is and be left alone. A prequel would be alright though. An explanation of the Era of Ymir or the Great Titan Wars or when the Titans when rampaging the world and its civilizations
If they decide to do a sequel I’d love if they went with a post apocalypse aesthetic like the AOT movies from 2015.

Sequel: Titan vs Mecha
I wanna see more stories about people of 104th cadet corp and New Eldia Empire, the timeline after part 2 of season 4
The interesting thing about the Titans is that it seems all their powers, the way they behave and how everything works seems to all *coordinate* to Ymir and the Hallucigenia. For example, shifters have to draw blood and have a specific goal/desire to summon their power, because Ymir was wounded and wanted to live when she got the powers. Another example is the Titan Realm (or whatever you want to call the mystical timeless place connected to all Subjects of Ymir) created because Ymir wanted to be connected to everyone, and live forever. Then there's the Curse of Ymir, the means of inheriting Titan powers, ect.
Should we see the future of the world Eren left behind, I believe that Titans will behave very, very differently, and it will all be based on Beren.
If they make a sequel with the kid (or dog) finding the power, the traditions, everything involved with the titans from before should not exist (since the legacy of Ymir and her 9 titans spawned from her own characteristics) also most likely the new founder most likely not a slave bowing to the will of a cruel abusive tyrant, therefore no slave mentality, post-apocalyptic, no baggage, love, or the tradition of cannibalism to inherit the titans. The implications, if the conditions above were true, could mean any possibility for a sequel. Perhaps a more hopeful, freer, less cruel, or savage future with the power of titans. Not man eating giants that only a few our bound to the will of a slave girl from the past.
For me I feel like more light-hearted spin-offs would be neat. Like another season of AOT: Junior High or an adaptation of AOT: High School. Parodying moments from season 2 onwards sounds like fun.
I mean, there is this whole thing about life wanting to continue living. So I get why Isayama included the last part of the tree growing to large size, but the survival of the creature could have been hinted at in a different way, like Eren severing the connection between Yimir and the creature, thereby getting rid of the titan powers at least until his head decomposes and releasing the creature awaiting to be rediscovered. Overall-good idea, poor execution

Isayama's Editor has confirmed that there are no plans for a sequel. This also adds to the theory that Isayama may have given us the 'failed outcome' in the MANGA and we may get the 'successful outcome' in the ANIME, I have lots of evidence that supports this I can link some videos too.
Maybe they can change the ending of aot in the anime. Like how they changed the the fight between eren and annie
Its kinda disappointment that eren killed 1.6 billion/80% of people on the series and island paradise still gets nuke and bombed. And erens knows that paradise will be destroy thats why he wants to killed all on them
my god .....i'm not ready for this to end :'(
aot's been an important part of my life for 10 years i can't believe we're finally at the end of the story ......i still remember when season 1 released :'''(
It would be cool to see a what if story of Erwin becoming the colossal Titan instead of Armin
So, attack on titans "What if?"
Imagine From 500 or 1000 years from. They might created season 5 or 6 or 7 maybe 8 I won’t be alive and changing Manga Writer and Voices nobody can’t predict the FUTURE
It would be cool to see a post-apocalyptic sequel. It's not like AoT hasn't done big tone shifts before- going from a medieval fantasy story to a nazi war drama.
It was not medieval, they have flintlock weapons and have the tech for pressurized gas and snap-off blades, more like 1800s, theyre military is around napoleons time
id mostly want the before the fall anime because that time in the anime where normal titans were still scary as fuck and dangerous and seeing them devour entire cites was terrifying
If beren is the new founder would he die after 13 years or did that get erased by the temporary destruction of the titans? Also would he have all nine titans?
wasnt everything would be resetted. the 13 years and 9 titans only happened bcs of ymir and her descendants not worm-kun.
how long the shifter will live, is determined by how long Beren will live, if he dies after 20 years, the other shifters after him will die after 20 years.
Can't believe tree senpai out lived everyone else🐦🌳
I love you soooo much! Thank you for always pointing out when you are going to start talking about stuff that has not been shown in the anime yet! I makes me able to watvh your videos until i hit that point! When part 2 is out im coming back to all of these videos to watch them all the way trought!
isayama deserves so much better, the ending was amazing and all the hate was so unnecessary:(
So trueeee
no it wasnt. he said it himself
Personally. The show steered in a strange direction after the second or third season. Me and my roommate just sort of dropped it after a few episodes in to season 4. We didn't discus hating the show or anything. I'm more disappointed at Eren than anything, main character be damned, he wasn't even the most likable and he reverts to a person I never want to see.
The show was dragged on for so long. Think about how long it took for 4 seasons to come out. The "plot twists" were kind of unexpected but not generally where I thought the show was going. Disappointed more than anything but I'm not one of those people who sends out death threats for not liking the plot. Seeing Eren kick ass as a titan in season 1 and then seeing him kick Armen's ass in season 4, that's enough for me to lose interest in Eren's entire argument. Never cared to see Eren have the founding titan either. Ruined the story by making him have the strongest Titan right off the bat. If you think the attack titan is weak, absorbing the powers of other titans was too much of a buff. Like giving a guy super powers that can only steal superpowers. Kinda stale.
@@Koi_Swirl yea i can see where you’re coming from. it did take quite long for 4 seasons to come out, but i think a main reason for that was because of all the ovas and spin-off shows they made. it also was definitely strange to see attack on titan go from humans vs titans to humans vs humans. but if you really look into it, Eren’s character and the whole story has so much depth and meaning to it. it really is a beautiful show. and its okay to have opinions and give criticism, but i just think all the death threats and hate is uncalled for.
I like all three options I think an expansion on number 2 would be cool. If we got to see Marley running test on the previous Titan users and got to see more research on them along with so inter conflicts that the Titan shifters had. But I think the most realistic one to happen is number 3 where we just pick up where we left off.
Isayama been writing and drawing anime from 2013 he dosent deserve hate
no one is above criticism stop treating writers like some kind god they are just content creator they published their work publicly its not their job to decide what is good writing and whats not people have put isayama on padestal, they have supported him for 11 years its not like he is writing for free they have every right to critise him if his work is not upto standard stop sucking up the writers like a sheep this is also the exact reason the anime industry has degraded over the last few years because lazy authors knows stupid famboys will continue to support them no matter whatever the shit they write without asking questions
@@QuantumtestGaming he’s worked for years trying to provide us content and because of the ending in HIS story everyone is sending him threats of you don’t like it leave the true aot fans don’t want you
We don't need anymore manga contents of AOT. Just a good anime original ending explaining the manga ending clearly would be nice.
More like, "The end of attack on titan." Show has gone on for so, so long. Let it die in peace.
I am nearly 24 and I remember watching attack on titan back in early high school. The show needs no prequel or sequel. It's no Naruto or Dragonball , and by that I mean it's way way darker of a show. I never expected anyone to live.
Attack on Titan: Before the Fall anime 👀
Theia no future for aot as soon as season 4 part 2 releases fans will still hate the ending and toxicity will increase
The anime only fandom and the manga reader fandom are SEVERELY different. The manga readers, for example, made up so many crazy theories, such as EreHisu, that it would disappoint them no matter what the ending would’ve been.
When S4 P2 releases, the main thing everyone’s going to focus on is the pro’s and not the con’s.
@@AlexanderTheBloodraven bruhh....haters will keep hate the show even it is par good
That's why its called toxic fandom
Every anime have and i have seen the most toxic fandom of my hero academia but aot toxic fans abusing the author that's not acceptable
@@DeadRaku I know, right?
People say their mad because the ’plot is bad’, but 90% of the time, they’re just pissed their fan theories didn’t come true.
This fandom is absolute cancer.
Its kind of hilariously ironic actually. Isayama literally created the entire story. They have him to thank for all of it: the good parts of the show, the excitement, even the fandom. But now they litetally send death threats to the one who at the beginning gave them their story, excitement, and expectations.
@Dr Doom What argument did I make? I simply stated that the manga reader fandom is very different from the anime only fandom.
For example, when Erwin died in the manga, there was a huge controversy, but when he died in the anime, people were just sad.
There is a possibility that the titans would actually be very effective weaponry, since they've been gone for so long. The military most likely decommissioned anti-titan weaponry.
When can all agree that the Levi scene in chapter 139 was epic
It would be great if we get great titan war spinoff
I loved the ending its fitting for aot and it captures the reality of war and humans quest for self destruction
I would prefer to see all historical events from Ymir's time, all the way up to the creation of the walls of Paradis. I would like to see how things happen from both sides. Seeing how Marley became Eldia's main enemy, show us why Fritz went to Paradis, and even see why Helos chose to go with the plan. If Helos was a real Marley soldier, then it would be hard to assume he spoke to his enemy for no reason, but if he was just some random guy up until that point, he could have been like Niccolo, and made friends with Eldians.
The bin is the future of aot
No it’s still good
I dont think he will be the new founder cause i wasn't attach to Eren at the end. Think the tree was just symbolic of history rhyming
Honestly I would pay to watch all these
