Lian Li GA II LCD 360 Asetek pump? Oh dear, how sad, nevermind. Kudos to companies that recuse themselves and simplify my choosing. Lian Li GA II Trinity I'd have bought BEFORE Lian Li invented Unifans, today NO WAY!. I'll keep an eye on Valkyrie, I quite like the pump aesthetic and with the sd card reader the whole thing looks like something from 10-15 years ago. It'd go well with a Rampage IV Extreme for example (The pages for it updated just last week!). A bit nutty perhaps, but different. To round up, there is NOTHING here I would buy, barring the Syn for a vintage build. For me this was worth it for the introduction to Valkyrie. It is always good to see new entrants to the DIY PC space. Thanks for the hard work on this one, James. Untidy wiring in this day and age is silly. The LCD 360 shames even Lian Li's own other product, though Trinity does tidy up with those covers, shame about the LCD 360 pump though; I try not to buy stuff from egergiously anti-competive companies with dubious business morals.

How much of a difference is caused by the fans? Would be interested in a standardized fan test
Fans play a big part in the performance of the cooler.
The only problem for me with standardising fans is that it ends up being a review of the fans rather than the cooler as a whole.
Would be interesting to see how long they can keep it together without the fans. Would they end up boiling the coolant?@@KitGuruJames
I dont know how it affects long term reliability but having the LCD on top of the CPU block really makes it more desirable.
Thank NZXT for that. Have to get their profit margins up on an Asetek aio.
Probably not that much.
Hello which one is better between ek nucleus 360mm and ryijun lll 360 mm or maybe theye are a better than this in performance ?
how about deepcol mystique 360 ?
Hello sir, i got arctic liquid cooler 360mm but fans are really loud for me. can you please suggest me a fan that will run quieter and cool better?
Is the Galahad 2 LCD the same as the normal SF trinity just without the screen?
Lian li galahad lcd 360 or cooler master atmos 360 🤔
How do these new waves of coolers stack up to the Arctic Liquid Freezer II family?
In terms of thermal performance a lot of the latest AIOs outperform the Liquid Freezer II but the LF2 is low noise.
However Arctic is working on a new AIO which should be coming soon hopefully.
Is this better or master cooler atomos i confused ?
I found the Lian Li LCD very loud at 3600 RPM so loud in fact it was unusable
Is it better to keep the pump speed on a fixed number or let it be variable? Regarding the durability of the water cooler pump
Personally I keep the pump speed at a fixed rpm in my own systems, usually a few hundred rpm below maximum. But it's fine to have it on a curve too.
How do you vary the pump speed on these?
@@festerleech4952 either by configuring it in the motherboard BIOS or by using the coolers software depending on how the cooler is connected.
An 8 way is good but true greatness could have been achieved with a Peter Griffin style 11 way.
James thanks for ur work
I wanna know which cooler is better in performance
Lian li glahad 2 lcd or kraken elite from nzxt ?
Thanks in advance
Galahad II LCD
Always enjoy reading your comments. Thanks for the input again. 👍
Glad you got something from it Steve !
Where is the EK CR360?
Are these results directly comparable to your other videos? I wanted to see how they compare to your previous top coolers like the CR360 and ML 360 Atmos. A shame none of them were included here for reference :/
Keep an eye on my future cooler review as I'll be testing on the intel and AMD platforms, adding some of the previous coolers from the AMD test system for reference. It's a very time consuming job.
I have some data from the EK Nucleus but not final. Let's just say both Lian Li Galahad II coolers would be challenging the EK Nucleus for the top spot.
@@KitGuruJames OK so I should NOT compare your previous results then. Thanks so much for the quick reply! I am getting ready for a new build and your channel is my main source for picking the best cooler.
Thanks again! :)
Pity there's no Deepcool cos the LT series have been shown to blow the competition away at a great price point
They already reviewed them.
Oh man... with this would have gone up two days ago... just ordered a BeQuiet!
😢
The Silverstone 420mm would be my pick, I like 140mm fans cuz they’re less annoying than 120’s
I just got a 560mm for my GPU loop 😂
Anyone know if galahad ii lcd is better than nzxt z73?
No Arctic?
Most of those have been covered in previous reviews on our AMD test systems.
We are moving towards testing upcoming coolers on both AMD and Intel test platforms so you will see them compared with these in the future.
It's a huge amount of work getting the test data from just eight coolers so we can't possibly cover everything.
Artic have a new cooler coming out soon, we will cover that, so check back.
@@KitGuruTech oh sorry, I will go rewatch the part of the video in which this was mentioned. Because, watching the video felt like none Arctic AIOs were good enough, so they were not used.
Does anybody plan to talk about the massive amount of pump failures on the Galahad II Performance model?
i wonder if that is why I cannot find the Performance for sale anywhere.. :/
@shaolin95 yeah, Lian Li recalled all the inventory from retailers so they can send out an updated version that supposedly corrects the pump rattle issues.
Price to performance....DeepCool AIO's are hard to beat!
I can see why that mega expensive Lian lie is so popular.
They aren’t lieing lol.
Id-Cooling sl360? 🤔🤔🤔
Can I use Noctua NH-U12A Chromax black cpu cooler on a Intel 14700kf in a lian Li O11 air mini case with stock case fans + Asus dual 4070 ? If not what size AIO should I use ( 360mm fits too with small custom brackets ) ? And in same case, same gpu if I go with 7950X what CPU cooler would you recommend ? ❤
I would recommend using a 360mm AIO with either of those coolers if you want to run them with BIOS defaults.
If you plan to adjust power limits then you might be able to use the NH-U12S but you will have to compromise on performance.
@@KitGuruJames stock bios. I'm wondering would 240/280mm AIO do the job too if I choose smaller PC case ? Also.... would I lose a lot performance if I go with 13600kf, and could I cool it with Noctua NH-U12A chromax CPU cooler ? At 1440p 27"inch monitor.
@@antoniocepaj7544a 280 should be ok as long as it's high performance.
i run a 14700k on a NH12A and never reach 70C in gaming or music production at 1400 rpm, if you do video editing it might be a different story tho…
Hello, is the Galahad Performance better than the EK Nucleus 360?
I also have this doubt.
@@Cairam0101 i ended up getting the DeepCool LT720 360 for a 13900K, i got a good deal, 96 euros.

Aio showdown for am5 sir? Thank you for doing this, keep it up! Very informative and saves alot of people from spending :)
If you want an AM5 showdown check out our other recent AIO reviews. There are performance charts there with lots of coolers tested on AM5/7950X.
@@KitGuruJamesWill do! Will watch it now :D
enermax liqmaxflo...im still cant believe Underperform...
My Lian Li Galahad II Performance pump broke in under a month.
Yes I heard that the early batch of these could suffer from this issue, did you get it replaced?
@@KitGuruJames Got a full refund as it was 29 days old.
Looked into it it and seems it was due to being run on quiet setting and the impeller rubbing the washer. a v2 is out now. was thinking about the LCD version to replace it as its an Asetek design and not inhouse. ATM have a quick fix of using a Peerless assassin 120. But then noticed Asus have a Tuf LC II 360 coming out and as the rest of my rig is Asus Tuf thought I would wait. Great video btw keep em coming
Why no NZXT AIo's if they are not included then you cannot define if they are compariable in price and performance , i know you have previously covered these but you have to give the consumer all the information even if it is a summary note.
Been reviewed by us previously but the data from them will be collected and added to our future cooler reviews on the Intel 13900K test platform.
I am afraid you will have to hang on a little while for that. Testing this amount of coolers takes a lot of time. It can't all be done in one 8-Way round up video, it's logistically impossible.
where is the arctic??
Reviewed on our channel earlier in the year. if you watch literally the first 30 seconds of this video, its explained.
the only brand coolers i want to see compared are ROG, Lian Li, and NZXT....and your missing 2 of those biggest brands in this video....kinda makes the video irrelevant to not have the most popular coolers.

Can you do a test where the aios are all tested with the same fans so that we can see how the pumps and radiators of each cooler perform
Maybe in a future video.
41:05 Why add paste if there's already paste on the cooler?
No Corsair?
I thikn they reviewed quite a few of theirs lately. James said at the start they ended up with a lot of AIO's at end of year and thought they would do a roundup. some good coolers in this, ive seen far too many corsair reviews on kitguru lately tbh !
@@rufusmctavish1164 Big difference to a Review and a Comparison Test....??? Big oversight in my opinion rsulting in a meaningless test considering Corsair AIO's make up a huge, if not the biggest, slice of the market! 👎👎👎
Corsair has not launched any AIOs recently that bring any significant changes to the pump/radiator so we already have plenty of data on the current generation of CoolT OEM coolers from Corsair.
To be honest the last couple of Corsair AIOs that I have reviewed including the H170i Elite LCD have been quite underwhelming in terms of thermal performance.
People who make cooling products and cases are producing some genuinely interesting and creative products, but I'm simply not going to build a new PC while graphics card prices are set by drunken leprechauns and motherboard firmware is melting processors, never mind that most games these days are just an infuriating pile of sleazy monetization tactics.
It's sad to see some market segments really trying hard while the rest of the industry is made up of frothing nimrods determined to burn the whole industry to the ground.
