    I started doing ass-to-grass squats and developed this pain after 3-4 weeks. Helpful and informative. I found a lacrosse ball in a nut cracker fashion was helpful too.

    Oh my GOD have been suffering this for months after my ACL construction but with this I feel much more better it's gone ones

      Did you have pain in your kneehold(like a short shock when bending) while running? This occurs every few minutes when I go running. I have been trying to find where this pain comes from. And the fact that I also had a ACL injury a year ago, makes it similar to what you mentioned.

    "Movement is the strongest medicine" 100% agree. Totally don't need a partner. You can rotate yourself from the front. Thumbs on the Tibial tuberosity. Good video.

    Thanks a lot , having issues with it after deep pause squats , got inflammation down , wanted to start getting some movement before attempting squatting again , thanks for the helpful info

      Man, I had an issue on the post-lateral part of my knee after deep pause squats, it's been nearly a year and the pain is still there. I just found this and suspect it might be the popliteus tendon. How's your condition going? Did it heal?

    why does the popliteus keep moving out of place?

      @@jayjojpp1828 Nope. It still comes and goes. Sometimes it really swells up and I wear a knee wrap and ice it and massage it, other times it's just a slight pain.

      @@travisadams4470 mine does the same thing!! The swelling is terrible! A knee brace really helped me but I’d like to be able to not have to wear it! 😢

      Your arch is most likely weak/stiff from our shoes. This causes this muscle to work harder than necessary thus creating tension. A lot of shoes have an elevated toe and heel. Start wearing flat/barefoot shoes and avoid most regular commercial shoes

      @@jaystar2727 I've tried the whole barefoot shoes off and on for a number of years and it seems to cause more harm than good, but thanks for replying.

      I think I got it from putting my legs up on 2 pillows while laying in bed . Now I sit for an hour and my knee is like asleep!

    I am 72 and have had popliteus pain for approximately 10 years. The pain is intense causing me difficulty walking downstairs after standing for a few hours. (Putting up Christmas lights) Do you have any ideas for an extreme case?

    I was in neutral wrestling and I posted on my right leg, I felt horrible pain and I had to bend my leg in all the way to relieve the pain, almost thought I tore it. 8/10 pain. Is it possible it you’d be popliteus

    it's a doozy and will creep into this idea..my poor little leg!
