How difficult is it to identify which you are experiencing. Mine does not really effect me walking. If I bend my knees (curl) up in bed, get into the car (right leg), kneel on stair (the pressure is terrible).
Hey man I can’t catch a break it seems I overstretched my hamstring and it hurts right in the center of the back of my knee I did the stretch you do for your knee with the band where it goes straight up and I over did it any tips?
Doctor, I’ve been strengthening my glutes since a month now, and my knee pain is gone( I’ve had it for20 years) but now my butt hurts all the time. What should I do?
Hey @misbahhabib8866, that's great that you've got rid of your knee pain of 20 years!!! WOOHOOOO!!!! It may be that you're sore in your glute muscles since you may have had weakness there for so long. It could also be that you need to reduce the intensity that you're working at in your glute strengthening. In other words, back off a bit and see if your glutes feel better. You'll have to keep up your glute strength for the long term to make sure your knees stay healthy the rest of your life!
Ok thanks. Its just that I’m so relieved and happy with my knees, the last thing I want to do is stop the glutes exercise. I just do simple squeezes (10 for 10 seconds each) twice a day. Even my back has straightened… I had developed a stoop. I’m 64 btw.
The back of my knee is intense when i extend my leg, get up from a seated position, or take stairs. Theres no swelling or stiffness, no popping noise. Can this go away on its own? Im thinking of buying s knee brace
What if I have mild meniscus injury with grade 1 acl sprain + grade 1 chondromalacia - and now developed swelling at back of the knee which hurts during bending or straightening, more than it hurts during standing/walking. Can a knee cap help this? Also, I dont have DVT but some varicosities like perforator incompetence. Is that the reason? I've seen both types of specialists and doctors arent telling me nothing! I have taken anti coagulant and anti platelets from November to March. I would say I noticed the back of the knee swelling only in April.
I do suffer degenerative lower disc for 15 years my job is standing but I'm good smt but there is a sharp sharp pain and is unable to walk for a few days
I had muscle pain after coming back from skiing ( think I over did it 🥲) pain for 2 months , then went on a tens machine electric pulses for a day 3 times and now it’s gone 😳😱 how come 🤷🏻♂️
I have terrible knee arthritis, can't straighten or bend it fully. I have Bakers Cyst symptoms. The surgeon said my knee, leg is not strong enough to do surgery. I have Charcot Marie Tooth peripheral nerve disease. I am in constant pain for the past 3 years.
@@susanaflores8224 it took months to improve by elevating it and using a walking stick for the first time. Then I tried to do a squat and twisted my knee, it's still a bit swollen but I can walk ok
Im taekwondo athlete and loves hiking/trail runner. I feel pain behind my knees from two weeks till now.😢 I can't kick properly and if i sit ling it's difficult to stand up its very pain😢.
I feel pain on Back of my knee and it get worsen after it get in touch with any fabric (cloth) ...went for physiotherapy still suffering with this pain
my back of knee only hurts when I bend it tight like when pedaling a bike, i can hike and ride a semi recumbant bike and so how do I deal with it, can you get scar tissue, I was trying to ride my new mountain bike and it hurt back of knee with i bend my leg fully to pedal from top to bottom of the rotation. I hurt this leg several years ago and many of the pain and problems resolved except I cannot bend my leg fully to pedal
I had some pain in back of knee for a few weeks, then the other day the leg buckled, just gave out. Now I can't really use that leg, am walking very slowly without bending leg. What's up?

Me too. I blame it on curling my legs while sleeping and bending legs while sitting at work
Can it be caused by femoral nerve pinching or sciatica from the spine?
Glad you liked it
Any tips for how to help resolve residual pain at the injection point site from a popliteal nerve block?
