*Generalized positive feedback*... Lovin these videos (have watched the entire mxb series), and learning a lot. I especially enjoy the way you respond to dumbass comments. Keep them coming! Subbed and will buy patches just to support when I get one of these bad boys.
I'm thinking about buying one of these I really love it it looks amazing it sounds amazing. But I've been hearing a lot of negative feedback about it going out of tune. oscillators going out of tune problems with it with the power supply is that all bull?
Hi , I'm really struggling to decide between the D1 and the Arturia Matrixbrute. Hard question I know but which one would you grab first? your advice would be most appreciated
I got one to basicly be the hub of my control center for modular rack but just not sure about it sofar? what would you think is best hardware controller or way to control a modular rack? i have all the Expert sleeper stuff to run it from computer and a great midi controller so should i just invest in more rack gear? or keep this thing? P.S. what would be the best Voice or Oscillator unit to buy on market today ?
Jonathan Treadway as far as a modular controller , matrixbrute is a beast but that's not its primary goal, the cv in and out is more an extension of it rather than being just control outs etc. it can be used that way for sure but I think that's going long way round the bend to do things that could be handled more efficiently. As far as oscillator, that's something that comes down to what you want to add to your sound. Personally I think something like an orgone accumulator or a braids is a great addition to the matrixbrute as you are adding tones that move away from the analog nature of the matrixbrute. This will give you a much wider sonic palette to choose from.
Jonathan Treadway I got one and I am on the fence also.....I will be building a modular system behind this if i keep it......have you tried running an modular oscillator for a 4th voice yet?
Still an awesome synth in 2023
Thank ! I learned so many tricks on my MatrixBrute =))
Great video and such great tips. Just got one. So much to discover :)
